Last night, Kas and I were trying to get my last larval acid when we ran across a pally fighting a bat or something. He got an add and started to run away. I quickly changed his mind by rooting him. At first, he tried to dispell it but the bat and add slowed him down. So, he turned to keep fighting. Without Kas or I touching him (other than me casting root), this back-and-forth went on for a good 3 to 4 minutes - fight, run, root, run, daze, fight, add, fight, run, root, etc. - until he finally ran out of mana and died.
Pallys make me laugh. :laugh:

This reminds me of how I managed to kill a level 60 mage and a level 60 priest together using nothing more than purge when I was level 56.
I was questing in WPL at the westernmost field, the one filled with level 51-53 mobs. I see a mage running through the field with mana shield up collecting just about every single creep at once. he starts to use arcane explosion, so I run up and start spamming purge on him. the priest tried to shield and heal him, but the creeps win the damage battle and the mage falls, and then all the creeps rush the priest, who shields himself and starts runnig.

I always feel a twinge of pity when I root alliance players that are trying to run for their lives from mobs. I mean, it's a pretty jerk thing to do, but on the other hand we are talking about the alliance, whose rogues would sell their mothers for an extra stab at my supple bovine backside.
Funniest thing that has ever happend to me pvp-wise. I was lvl 50 and just started killing raptors in un'goro, and collecting those crystal things. As i was fighting one raptor i saw frost shock appear on my debuffs, so i turned around saw 2 lvl 53 shamans and a raptor (that they aggro'd) running at me. So i finished the raptor i was on really fast, then preceded to attack whatever shaman the raptor was attacking. I dont remember the specifics of the battle...but i won, and the raptor ran away. hahah! :D

I love the shitty paladin aoe that does about 40 damage per tick. I promote they cast that while shielded instead of healing themselves and taking advantage of their strongest asset, being their survivability.

First time a paly used that on me he was shielded and charging me.
I was all "OH SHIT, fagadins have an AoE fuck what am I gonna do he's gonna rape me... wait this is nothing." So I cast a rejuv and /laugh'd at him till the shield dropped.
