Favorite WoW Movies.

I was going through my hard drive and found a bunch of old wow movies which made me laugh. I did a quick search and couldn't see any threads similar to this, so I thought i'd post some up, I’m sure there’s a few gems over the years I've never seen, so post your favorites.

Big Blue Dress
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCnioLOANaM
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=16144
A PvP video about a mage who isn't happy that he has to wear a dress. Very well done.

ZinWrath - Blizzard Movie Contest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jit0TZtq9rM
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=7558
A Story about a level 60 warlock, I'm sure everyones seen this.

What Fangtooth doesn't want you to know
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBKqNt5ysq4
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=3752
Fangtooth's Meating with the devs about the state of Paladins in PvP.

Ahn'Qiraj The Movie
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=23916
An amazingly well filmed and presented piece demonstrating all the fights in Ahn'Qiraj.

This is easily my favorite WoW video ever produced.

Another good one, though:
The Brothers Tauren

I watch mostly pvp movies, seen many from all classes and this one is and will remain my favorite.

It's a warrior PvP movie similar to Pat and Maydie, about big crits. Unlike Maydie this guy also has skill and not always a personal healer. He puts out some serious numbers considering this was filmed in the last version of the game pre-2.0 after all the warriors nerfs.

Every so often, one of my colleagues says something to me like "OMG James, you play World of Warcraft don't you? Have you seen this Leeroy Jenkins video?"

I always felt like Blackwing Lair the Movie was the one that opened the door to high quality, well put together movies for Warcraft. It will also hold a special place in my heart.

N E V E R, a 1.8 Druid PvP video by Ferahgo and Boro is definitely one of my favorite WoW flicks ever. The editing, content, and polish on this film is staggering. Warning: It weighs in at ~651 MB (but is most definitely worth it, even if you aren't a fan of Restoration Druid PvP!).

These are preciesly what Warcraft Movies should be. Equal dispoisition between "Warcraft" and "Movie". Not just a demonstration of keystrokes to kill classes. Not saying all PvP movies are like it, but I think you all know the types to which I refer.

These movies seemed to be the first that actually cared about making a good movie, and not just a "We're one of the few guilds in MC, so watch us own in WSG!" type affair which were rife at the time.

edit: He was the one who produced the Exploration movies into Hyjal and Carverns of time too, if anyone can remember those

Ahn'qiraj is by far my favorite. The editing, and the shots in that film are just AMAZING. I can't imagine how much time it took to synchronize some of that video with the music (remember the bug trio shots?).

I was actually going to mention "InnervateD". The combat is awful, the "battle" with the shadow priest in the EPL is downright sad, but still... watching that video, at the time, made me really want to stick with my druid. 9/11/31 for life. Watching it now is pretty much taking it out of context, but at the time the druid forums were basically "this class sucks and can't do anything". Ferahgo and Rubix made videos to prove everyone wrong.

Fangtooth's Meating with the devs about the state of Paladins in PvP.
My brother and I still like to say "Shaman need more buffs" and "Make it on a PvP server." Lol.

NeVeR is also a classic, inspired me to keep playing my druid. It's fun to watch too to remember when the best pvp spec was resto.

PvP and humor-wise, I always liked Unbreakable's shaman pvp video with the SHoR. The mid-section where he goes emo having to spec resto is pretty hilarious.

As for PvP movies, warrior movies are generaly the most entertaining. My 2 favorites are :

-Reven Begins http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=33970

That was before the pvp armor and class revamp too, so doing what he did with crap gear and a 30 second cooldown on stormstrike was pretty impressive. The paladin almost crying on vent at the end makes me laugh every time.

I also greatly enjoyed the Francis pvp video from around 1.03 or so.

The Korean Frost Mage? If so, he was amazing. There was another Mage PvP video recently of a 60 Undead Mage in so-so gear absolutely destroying everybody with excellent use of Engineering tools. Anyone know which movie I'm talking about?

the conquest 2006 movie. all the pre-TBC bosses put together into one awesome video, with nice editing. i remember it being featured on the curse page but oddly enough cant find any download link anymore besides: http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=32162 [edit] found it: http://files.filefront.com/Conquest+.../fileinfo.html [/edit]

as far as pvp movies go: vurtne and the (earlier) nerf druid movies. both show awesome gameplay as well as made me laugh out loud several times because they are just far too funny.

heh. sounds like vurtne think he was using magisters chest and that blue wsg rep staff, and is using grenades and reflectors en masse.

That's the one! My jaw dropped the first time I watched it. I think Vurtne, Francis, and Happyminti are possibly the most spatially aware PvPers I've watched in a video.
