Wowadmin woes, is this common?

Anybody else having any issues with account admins being MIA in their duties? I am currently close to being on day 5 on my suspension from wow and my story is pretty alarming...

A long time friend sends me about 5 stacks of arcane dust. Not a huge amount of mats but its owed since I have more than helped him out before in game/IRL. A week after sending me those mats he decided to try and scam blizz by putting a restore back for those mats...

1: He blames it on simply losing the mats on one of his alts or mailbox
2: States his account "could" have been hacked.
3: They suspend my account for being the one where the items ended up. (TOS LOL)

Seems this was all done at the gm level when he had a conversation with my (soon to be ex) friend. The account was put on a 3 day ban which has lasted longer than that. Wowadmin seems non-responsive to any of my e-mails and I haven't seen anything official from them since the 3-day notification.

Are issues like mine really this common? I was shocked when this first happened but I am leaning towards being sick if this ends up being a ban. Isn't this exploitable if they don't use some sort of common sense investigation in these types of tickets? What stops someone from sending you a small amount of anything and then placing a ticket to a gm?

Maybe I am just looking for some horror stories that makes mine look a little less gloomy.

Maybe this will make you feel better. Last year I was playing for a long time in an Alliance guild. I left for the summer, and when I came back in the fall, one of our long time Warlocks was gone. When I asked what happened to him, here's what I was told:

- Player A decided to quit playing WoW.
- In order to make sure she didn't change her mind, she disenchanted all her epic gear.
- She asked in guild chat if anyone wanted the resulting crystals/dust/etc. Player B spoke up. She mailed all the stuff to player B.
- At this point her character is naked in Ironforge.
- She breaks up with her boyfriend, who just happens to be the owner of this account - nobody really knew this, but she was playing on his account.
- Boyfriend logs in, sees Player A naked, and (it's unclear here) either figures his account was hacked, or is pissed at his ex-girlfriend and reports it to Blizzard.
- Blizzard permabans player B for hacking. Game over!

So if you only end up with a 5 day suspension or whatever, maybe you should just breathe a sigh of relief that it wasn't something much stupider that happened to you.

That seems to be confirming that I am dreading!
Years of my life gone all for 5 stacks of dust...
