Yeah, there wasn't one last week because I came back on a Monday afternoon extremely tired and jet lagged. This one is "late" because today is
Victoria Day so it's still the weekend for me. This thread, therefore, is created for people going back to work on Tuesday to read.
Also some things I've noted from my Italian cruise experience.
- The Italians are terrible at customer service (i.e. asking a waiter for some tea at the buffet gives the response, "You can go get some tea yourself outside at the bar."). Also, Italians are very disorganized.
- Greek food from Greece is amazing.
- Apparently bad things happen when I travel. For example, the day I leave Rome, one of the old walls collapse. The day after we leave İzmir, it gets bombed by terrorists.
Miscellaneous PTR Stuff
Patch tomorrow. 'Nuff said.
WoW Developer Interview
Since it failed terribly last week, they rescheduled it for today. Basically, the purpose of the interview was to announce that 2.1.0 is being released tomorrow. Oh, and Ret Paladin + Hunter DPS is not going to be fixed anytime soon.
Vashj drops SSC attunement item
Sweet, when my guild gets her on farm status that means I get a free SSC attunement on my alt should I ever choose to level her. Either that or we'll start making big bucks selling attunements to random people, ala BWL gold runs.
Kael'Thas has 5 phases, much like the moon
At phase 5, he makes everyone start swimming in the air (think of the poly+fn+fb+coc exploit to make you swim in the air) and he himself explodes and reincarnates at twice the size. Sounds fairly ridiculous and fairly awesome but then I just realized that roughly 1% of those who play WoW will ever see this (actually I don't think 80,000 people will ever see the Kael'Thas fight, because I don't think 80,000 people have ever done Kel'thuzad).
Starcraft 2
It's Starcraft 2 guys. I don't care what you say, the opening cinematic is beautiful.
On a side note, I just saw someone else with an Infested Kerrigan screencap for an avatar and am now quickly changing to avoid confusion. Probably a bad idea to do that in the first place but oh well.
Tseric's Gone
So after two years, the Tseric Raid Encounter has finally been done by the collective populace of the WoW forums. Instrumental in this world first was the efforts of the Shaman community, of which I'm sure most of them were lolenhancement.
On a personal note, I'm sad to see him go, because I just realized that's pretty much what would have happened to me but in a much shorter time period.
