So, our most random group of alliance were able to at least prevent EJ and GS from bringing down Azuregos even after much lagtastic PvPing. But, it definatly took the alliance+Azuregos to stomp your raid, whereas, once we managed to wait you all out all it took was Azuregos to stomp the alliance raid. And then on our second attempt it was kinda screwed from the get go due to lag, so then you just had 40 alliance with nothing better to do than PvP. Nice working with you guys so productively maybe next time we can just tag Azuregos and you can kill him for us? just a thought.

That last attempt looked to be going pretty well before people got wind of it. I suspect he'll be a rather exciting affair, and then people will get bored when they realize that just about everything in MC or Onyxia's Lair is better than his stuff.

The report from the alliance was, "We're not going to mess with you guys. We'll take our turn if you guys fail." In reality, someone from the alliance drew first blood and turned it into a PvP fight. No biggie. I got 75 additional HK from it all.

What it looked like happened was Exordium was there to take a crack at it.

The Myths Fury, Grief and maybe a handful of other people came up with the intent of fighting us. When we started in on Azuregos they attacked us. We turned around and killed every alliance in the area including Exordium who may or may not of joined in the attack.


In the end Exordium left and it was us vs Azuregos and a few people trying to wipe us (couldn't even do that lol) while we fought.

many times i was stealthed watching. then i got frozen. then someone killed me so i just started hitting frozen people. hunter patrols sucked ;(

Gratz to EJ for the kill, to be perfectly honest, minor PvP for the kill is actually a lot of fun, however, if it goes on for a few days then it really gets excessive and annoying, if we wanna switch out attempts i wouldn't have any issues, but i would be depressed to see the kill taken any time in the future without ANY PvP at all.

While I understand that, the problem is that even if you have a far smaller force, you can completely screw someone's attempt at the kill. Last night we had a real chance to win all 3 times, but every time we had alliance mages blitzing in with arcane explosion, which is a bitch to stop. Sure, we can kill the mage, but now we have 1/3 of our force at 1/2 hp in the middle of a raid boss fight where we cannot afford deaths.

It bothers me a bit because I had time to be there for the attempts last night, but could not be there for the actual kill, so I personally got no credit for the kill because we had a few alliance people absolutely bent on not giving us a shot at it.

It's frustrating how easy it is to mess up an attempt on a raid boss unless the other side has 4-5 times the numbers.

It is because of this that I dont think any guild other than maybe Exordium(who's guildmembers can hold an uneasy alliance with the horde guilds) will ever get a fair shot at Azuregos. Any other Alliance guilds just dont have enough respect + numbers to do it.

PvP interference may be absolutely hilarious for the group who hasnt tapped Azuregos, but it pretty much makes the fight impossible.

AOE stun is just that...and AOE stun. No damage. So it's manageable. Bolvar doesn't really hurt very hard, he just has a lot of defense. He'd be no challenge to us without Alliance intervention, so you Alliance had better come defend him when we decide to kill him again!
