I agree, It was like I was doing 10 rage executes all the time, barely hitting over 1k, even though I had like 25ish rage per execute.

Eye of Kilrogg also works quite nicely. A warlock using it can aggro Tidewalker with absolutely no risk to any player in the raid.

I had this problem before patch 2.1. We solved it by disbanding the raid. Start a new raid with one member of the old raid and an unlocked member. Have the unlocked member zone into the instance. He should get in since he's not bugged. Invite the rest of the raid into that newly formed, non-bugged group and you can get inside.

It seems to be an issue when the raid leader has the difficulty set to heroic and people try to zone in. While it is a neat trick to prevent people from zoning in early, making sure you have it set to normal way before anyone gets close to the instance seems to prevent the issue from occuring.

Saddest change I noted but failed to see in the Notes... Axe of the Gronn Lords now has a full handle. I loved the stubby, 1H look it had. Now, it looks like a 2H weapon, albeit an ugly one.

It seems to bug out if you have someone still in the instance from previously, and the raid leader invites them while it's set to heroic mode and they leave. The instance then thinks that you're wanting heroic, and won't let you reset it (and it's a raid, so obviously you can't get back in). We've had it a couple of times, and managed to sort it once, but not very easily or repeatably.

Boiling water now does negligible damage (600 per tick). The boss now does a periodic knockback on the tank, which requires some positioning adjustments. We had one insance of a guardian teleporting to one of the islands soon after it was sheeped. The Ambushers can still be MC'ed and will sometimes despawn with a combination of icetrap and MC. The platforms are easier to get back onto from inside the water (although I did have a clipping issue the first attempt where my character's head got stuck inside the underside of the inner platform). Geyser still has a small aoe radius, but only knocks back the primary target.

We had a rogue do it without talents with a well timed distract. He did, however, get revealed by scalding water as he was shooting but still got it.

We found that Geyser was never knocking the target back. It would damage the target but the MT would get the KB, not the guy who took the Geyser damage.

Also we had to call it on him because when he emerged he would go berserk with spout, basically spouting non stop, but not in a circle, just picking targets and blasting the hell out of them.

The damage animation from shadow wands has been changed.. Looks more like green fire now.
