I searched for a thread pertaining to this and couldn't find one, atleast not a thread dedicated specifically to it. There are several new patterns available. This one interestingly enough is BoP. The druid tanking belt pattern listed on mmo is BoE. This was found in our TK raid tonight on Void Reaver trash.

I don't recall seeing this belt recipe in other threads, but it dropped from the pumping station trash tonight in SSC.

I picked this up off Tidewalker tonight as well.

We got this one from the trashmobs before Hydross in SSC tonight. It's actually quite good for tanking paladins.

If I recall correctly, stats listed in wowhead seem to be correct. I don't have a screen shot, so can't confirm for sure.

Nice. Yeah I had seen the Belt of Deep Shadows quite a long time ago statless and was curious as to what they'd be. Hopefully this week we'll see some more of these.

Two different items are dropping off of trash in SSC and The Eye.

A bind on pickup recipe that requires 2 nether vortexes (and other stuff) for BoE belts.

A bind on equip recipe that makes a pair of bind on pickup boots that require 5 primal nethers (and other stuff).

They are for-

Cloth Healing
Cloth Spell DPS
Leather Physical DPS
Leather Tanking
Mail Physical DPS
Mail Spell DPS
Plate Paladin Tanking
Plate Physical DPS

The items created are all ilvl 128. The mail and leather both use leatherworking.

Do the BOP Patterns, but BOE items show up on master looter or have you had it on group loot?

They were used to aggro due to murlocks waves, this is not anymore true.

With zero leatherworkers in our raid, we saw the leather tanking belt pattern drop. It was on FFA loot. One of our hunters ended up grabbing it.

Yes, they show up even if your master looter isn't a leatherworker/tailor/blacksmith. Happened for us with master looter and the leatherworking pattern for the Belt Of Deep Shadows (BoP plans, BoE item).

Anyone know where does it drop?

Thanks, had no idea they fixed that, just killed those out of routine I guess. :P

Probably not. All of the new patterns I've seen are either BoE and require Nether Vortices, or BoP and require Primal Nether. If I had to guess why, I would say it is to balance out the overpowered gear that Tailors have had to date, in an effort to make the other professions meaningful choices for other classes.

And on that note, where are the engineering raid drops?

I think the idea with BoEs that require vortex is so a raiding guild can make some $$ for their trouble.

On the trainer, introduced with the patch. That's all this black sheep of a profession can hope for.
