It's never GoA OR Windfury for enhance shamans unless you have a pure hunter x3/ enh / feral group. Any enhance shaman in sunwell should be easily twisting WF and GoA and both buffs should be available to the group without issues.

I feel as though Kael (especially barely getting to Phase 4) is not a good fight to view WWS on, though I could be wrong. I apologize in advance if this comes off as more of a "Kael'Thas strategy" then a "Rate my WWS!"
WWS Report
Just to clarify some things, it would appear that some of our key members last night respecced immediately after the raid, and therefore are not very well represented in this WWS. For starters, Furiousbr was one of our tanks (he's normally Fury, as shown). He was Prot only because two of our tanks didn't show up until much later in the evening - at which point we were just about to finish up, so we didn't even bring them in. And Cactus seems to be Frost in raids, not Arcane using FB Spam.
For this attempt, we changed our strategy completely - instead of AOEing the weapons, we single targeted each one. This, for some strange reason, worked out much better then anything else we'd done thus far. We downed everything except the Axe before Phase 3, and all our tanks/healers were able to get in position to pick up their respective Advisers. From that point on, things ran fairly smoothly - and frankly, we died in Phase 4 mostly because we weren't *honestly* expecting to reach it (and weapon effects falling off, which is really a matter of practice/keybinding), so some people were still sketchy on the details.
One thing I noticed though, was that our tanks were taking a lot of spiky damage in Phase 3 (and their deaths were the reason for our wipe in our last attempt for the night), and I'm not sure how to remedy this. I'd suggest to our raid leaders to bring in another healer, but honestly, this fight isn't very healing intensive from what I've seen. If raid members take damage, they're being stupid, so 7 healers (two Shammies and a COH Priest being three of them) should be more than enough to keep our tanks up (also assuming we bring in a fourth tank, which I think is the plan).
I honestly couldn't tell you why Miffy, Eiwoj, Medz, and Roadkiller are all sub 50% presence. Nobody disconnected =/
Anyway, I feel like i'm rambling. Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice you may have.

Nevermind this post. Got it myself. Hits and Average Hit is not a combination of Hit, Crit and Glancing as we thought.
We are currently working on Kil'jaeden and our Enhancement Shaman was complaining about our "very low in comparsion to other logs" Rogue DPS. After researching in the Logs we found a very strange behavior. Sorry if this is mentioned before elsewhere:
Wow Web Stats
We've compared the output of Stizzly and me (Neliel) which is nearly the same. But in details:
Neliel (7'19'')
---------------------------
Swing (Physical) 675 288 dmg 595 hits 35 %crit 1,5% Missed 513 Avg Hit
Sinister Strike (Physical) 218 884 dmg 100 hits 28 %crit 2,8% Missed 1071 Avg Hit
Rupture (Physical) 42 501 dmg
Stizzly (7'16'')
---------------------------
Swing (Physical) 690 323 dmg 560 hits 36 %crit 5,8% Missed 500 Avg hit
Sinister Strike (Physical) 240 446 dmg 91 hits 37 %crit 3,8% Missed 1097 Avg Hit
No Rupture - Expose Armor
Comp. Neliel vs. Stizzly (changed Missed to Hit for better overview)
---------------------------
Swing (Physical) -15 095 dmg +35 hits -1 %crit +4,3% HIT +15 Avg hit
Sinister Strike (Physical) -21 542 dmg +9 hits -9 %crit +1,0% HIT -26 Avg Hit
Rapture +42 501 dmg
--------------------------------------
+ 5 874 dmg
Regarding standart Swing... why do i have less Swingdamage with more hits and more Avg hit? And WTF 9% Stylecrit. We raid with different sights on which stats you need for best DPS purposes. I'm dancing around the hitcap and Stizzly has around 310 hit with more agi.
Our overall damage also seems a little odd compared to other WWS-Logs and regardless of our Enchancement Shaman did a really good job DPS-wise, it feels uncomfortable to stay behind him. I'm aware that Firebloom counts for him (we cloack out) but it's still strange. We mostly do 3s5r but i will try 2s5r on next attempts since that worked out on Brutallus yesterday.

Is WOW Meter Online - More logs!!!!!! what people are using now? WWS seems to have just fallen off the planet. Ngacn is a little slow and has some horrible Engrish, but otherwise has some very nice views. Anything else there attempting to get into this space?

There are a couple of other options.
Someone on the WWS forums posted a log file converter that lets you upload to WWS: Convert your combatlog from 3.0.x to 2.4.x. Folks on the forum seem to like it.
There's also an open-source static HTML parser (you host the files on your server) that I wrote a few months ago, which can read the new format natively: stasiscl - Google Code

Last night I had wierd problem. WoW didn't create wowcombatlog.txt fail. I have Loggerhead addon which starts logging instantly after I enter any raid instaces. Since wednesday was patch day and most of addons are still mess I controlled manually if the raid is being recorded. Turned off/on. All msgs were all right. But later when I wanted to upload raid, I couldn't find log. It wasn't in its usual /Log folder, neither couldn't search find it in whole WoW folders.
Has anyone had same kind of problem or knows what might be problem?

Are you sure you're looking in the right folder? When I installed the patch I was prompted to change my directory to something like C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft. However, when I tried to upload to WWS it was checking my old directory, which was obviously empty. If you moved your installation this is probably what happened.

Here is a parse from our BT run last night:
WOW Meter Online - More logs!!!!!!
We had way too many people log in for the raid, and as such I ran some people that I'm trying to get some gear for.
Feral - swapped from their SP, I needed a 3rd tank.
SP - new to the guild
Ret Paladin - no enchants, no gems, healing boots, Ragnaros Helm(the mail flame looking one) that he had because he liked the look of it
Moonkin - went LD ~20 times, but his dps was...wow.
We had Heroism blown in the first 20 seconds of almost every boss kill.
We've been killing Illidan since the end of June, with 4 kills of Kalecgos.
We also had a server "hiccup" during the Council.
Bloodboil turned and sprayed all of the melee during his Fel Rage.

Question On how To Read WWS
Take a look at this WWS from a Naxx run today. It shows a breakdown of 3 Hunters on Patch.
I am mainly concerned about the comparison between Lorrde and Dcwarlord.
Our gear is similar, but he seems to be out DPS me on most fights.
I assume it is my rotation that is the problem but I am not sure.
His Crit % on Explosive shots also seems much higher than mine.
However, I am new to WWS and hoping someone can break this down so it is a bit clearer for me.
What is Lorrde doing differently than I am? (besides ignoring Serpent Sting)
Patchwerk Hunter DPS
- Thanks

I found this only happened to me in Naxxramas each and every week, it was only when someone reminded me mid-raid not to fail on the logs i would remember and by that time i'd have missed a wing. Other 5, 10 and 25 man raids were fine, it asked me if i wanted to log the zone or did so automatically.
It still happens, there doesn't seem to be a newer version of Loggerhead than the one I have, however if you can remember /combatlog , it's business as normal.

I don't know much about hunters, but I'll give it a shot.
The first thing that jumps out is the difference in average damage on your Explosive Shots. He averaged 1694 on hits and 3956 on crits, compared to your 1272 on hits and 3032 on crits. You both have similar amounts of RAP, so the only major differences that I can see between the 2 of you are him going 3/3 in Sniper Training and you going 3/3 in Noxious Stings, for a 3% difference. Obviously the actual difference in damage between you two was much more than 3%, so I'm not exactly sure what happened there. Whatever caused it, you did about 78k less damage from Explosive Shots than he did despite landing 19 more shots than him. It should be noted that he got very lucky with crits on Explosive Shot that can be explained away due to the RNG, but that doesn't come close to bridging the gap.
There were some other differences like you applying Serpent Sting (do all hunters benefit from a single hunter's Serpent Sting?), but the major difference was him doing almost 25% more average damage on Explosive Shots. Smaller things include him getting 2 Rapid Fires to your 1 thanks to his spec, and him having 90 seconds of uptime on Greatness (Darkmoon card: Greatness) compared to your 40 seconds of uptime on Reflection of Torment (Mirror of Truth).

With Explosive Shot variance that high, I'd check to make sure you're using the highest rank. It sounds stupid, but if you have similar gear there isn't much reason for your averages to be that far off.

His Explosive shots are doing 24.9% more damage than yours, making for most of the difference. If you have 5K RAP during the fight, he'd have to be 2K RAP more than you to do 25% more explosive shot damage. That's a stretch.
Given 5K RAP, rank 1 explosive shot will do about 23.2% less damage than Rank 4 Explosive shot. That's pretty close to the observed difference. I'd check for this first and foremost.

cheers for the infraction.
I actually posted this because I have yet to see anyone post the achievement DPS kill.
I was trying to illustrate the level of DPS that every needs to be doing to get the 3 minute achievement, if you can find a post with this on, please quote it for me.

Hi there!
I've been reading these forums for quite a long time now, but never posted - please be nice
I'm one of the raid leaders for a 25man raid on EU-Nozdormu. We've been running 25man raids for roughly two months now and cleared the content except Sartharion + 3. Our average equip would be half 10man, half 25man I suppose, some people with better, some with worse equip.
I wanted to give you one of our recent WWS logs to gain some advice from outside of our raid. We have quite a few people who do their homework and are into the theory of their class, but some more opinions would be great.
About the particular log: We're struggling a bit with raid registrations right now, so we had to bring 5 tanks yesterday (Glück, Alicianna, Troshnagorr, Bradur, Beramowitsch). Not all of them were tanking all of the time of course.
The Sartharion tries are for Sartharion + 2, the kill is Sartharion + 1.
So here we go - please help us tune our raid
Wow Web Stats
Thanks in advance

Well, dont know what exactly you want to talk about, esspecially dont know wheter a WWS of Sartharion is quite the right figure to talk about but I'll try to give some notes.
Me as Raidlead as holypriest can mainly speak about your healing, and only little bit about dps issues at first
I think you already know you've a problem with people dying in this, newly, blue disco bulb, called voidzone? Some like to surf the lava tsunami as well, do you announce the waves? It really helps a lot since there are quite some people unable to recognize whats happening aorund them, we're still announcing them because of some, well, dont know
Without having looked in detail at the equipment of the chars, I think that although there is some lack of equip, your warlocks are behind the tanks, even if they are not tanking at the moment its not the way to go.
I dont want to trivialize, and of course it depends on equip, but 3k dps should be in range for any dps class. Cant speak in detail what kind of rotation which dps class should use, maybe you should just send them here to learn and read? 8)
Concering your healing-priests, of course it is not a problem to heal the sarth-mt as a holy priest, its not the perfect fit imo. No Palydan available to do the job? Mabye let one priest skill disc then, better for single target. Furthermore, both priest lack in use of prayer of mending, in fact they nearly never use it. It's pretty nice at sarth and should be kept on cd, to be honest its pretty n1 everywhere where grp dmg is involved.
In fact your're bringing 2restoshamis and 2 coh-priests to the fight, with 1 restodruid. So in some way at least 4 grp healers. The "bring the player not the class" concept didnt work imo, at least when going to sarth3d10.
I have to admit that at the beginning we started Sarth3d, and 2d before, with at least 6 healer and downgraded to 5 later on farm. Are you comfortable with 5? Sarth2d is not a real dps race imo when no one falls victim to the voidzones or tsunamis.
Hope it helped a little bit, I think if you reduce the dying to voidzones and tsunamis, it should work
