Our feral druid got fel rage last night. That was some crazy health and armor; very easy to heal. I think he can't target someone with a rage bar for fel rage, but the druid had shifted out to battle rez.

So he was out of form when he got targetted? Makes sense then. Our DPS warriors won't stop crying that they want fel rage though... could you imagine that during execute range...

I´d love to see a screenshot of a rogue doing 2900 dps on bloodboil

Reason we use mages and locks is pretty simple - cause they waste way less mana.

I guess thats the part I am confused about. How do melee's waste more mana? If you're referring to the acid breath, that is your melee's fault for getting hit by. It should only hit 1 person if people are reacting to it quickly and even then rogues can cloak it, and seal of light heals off a good portion of the damage. A melee with bloodboil can also heal themselves quite a lot from seal of light alone.

I've actually stopped using judgement of light on that fight because the healing aggro is then attributed to the melee, as slight as it is. I prefer just to top them off with flash. The entire melee group shouldn't be hit at the same time with fel-acid.

I'm almost positive we've had a DPS warrior get Fel Raged, don't know if we have a wws or video to confirm, I'll look into it.

edit: Couldn't find any confirmation, would have sworn we have though. Makes sense that it wouldn't though, would just be the same kind of target prohibition Vaelestrasz had.

We've definatly had a feral druid get fel rage (twice in a row infact), I cant quite recall if he was in cat or bear form at the time however.

And today on our kill we had one of our tanks (announced as a feral, ended up smashing the MT instead) get it.. kinda.

Our Feral Druid has got it multiple times and he is offtanking Gurtogg, so I'm pretty damn sure he's in bear.

Same here, everyone but Warriors got it. Even a Bear (no aggro at that time) got it. Maybe it's too easy, we don't know...

Tip for Fury Warriors: Apply Thunderclap 5s before Fel Rage.

I'm sorry if this has been answered in this thread, but what exactly triggers "Fury"? He gained it multiple times tonight, stacking up to 7. After looking it up at Thottbot:

Thottbot World of Warcraft: Fury

Hence, 7 stacks is nasty. Anyone know?

It's something like a 20% chance on hit (not entirely sure on that, but it's something like it). This is why Ice Armour for mages, and not casting as any DPS caster, is worth doing, because it reduces the number of stacks he's likely to gain, reducing the damage he does quite significantly.

Read through here and couldn't find this ever mentioned..

Does the Orc racial stack with Gurtogg's Fel Rage debuff? I know they recently changed it so that MS from warriors won't stack, but does this apply to Gurtogg's MS as well? As an Orc rogue.. it would be really nice to get an extra 300 AP while doing 300% damage.. but if its going to make healing me impossible well.. I'm not stupid.

Anyone know for sure?

After killing Gorefiend for the first time tonight, we decided to have a few pulls on Bloodboil for fun and a bit of experience with him. On the first try we had, one of our feral druid tanks did get fel rage.

Yesterday we had our first serious trys and had to deal with some weird problems. First some members of the BB-groups received a whole stack (up to 4!) of the debuff instead of one although the whole group was in correct position. Second the fel rage started instantly with the last BB. Have any of you experienced similiar problems?

A problem we found was that the Geyser he does at the start of Fel Rage phase gibs casters with Bloodboil if he decides to target a caster in the last Bloodboil group (for some retarded reason he does the last Bloodboil and the Geyser within seconds of each other) we ended up having our third Bloodboil group take a 4k Geyser several times and the clothies just dropped dead on their face.

Should we just have all our casters put on stam gear like Naj'entus? Nature Pots? Also, having mages get Fel Rage all the time makes baby jesus cry. Every time they just got instagibbed with Arcing Smash crush crush and we couldnt do anything about it.

You can bring 1 mage! At least we did that, but yeh, it's tough to heal clothies. Priests were a bit weird to heal too on our first kill yesterday.

As far as I know, and I can't say this with 100% certainty but I believe I've read it earlier in this thread and I do believe experiencing it myself (killed Bloodboil twice now and wiped on him a bit before that), the bloodboils are not on fixed timers and sometimes you'll even only get 4 bloodboils total before a fel rage (rare, but it happens). So yes, sometimes you have a little bit of time left after the last bloodboil, sometimes you don't.

I can't say we've really done anything specific to counteract this other than telling people to spread out when the fifth bloodboil goes off (gets a bit screwy when he only does four but oh well), maybe we should :p. Only other thing is the groups who are sure not to take another BB move away from the last group, but not far away from the boss, obviously. We also put a couple of warlocks in the group that takes the fifth bloodboil so they can drain life. What's your healing setup like on the bloodboil groups?

The thing about some of your members getting multiple stacks just sounds like some people are screwing up. Make sure no one is standing too far up or down (if you tank it on the ramp anyway) and stuff like that.

When it's less than 10 seconds to next Fel Rage phase and you're waiting for BB, go far away (easy for us as we tank him where he stands) while spreading out. Everybody else spread out as well. Whether the 5th BB will come or not, everyone is spread out and ready for the Geyser.
