Whatever, they are entry level instances now with the release of BT/Hyjal so now they are just turning it into AQ 41 and 42. Difficult fights but at least everyone can try them.

I am just happy that I didn't shell out 1500g 2 days ago for the TK attunement scroll. I am sure there are some people very angry and frustrated with themselves right now.

I would suspect this is one of the factors that brought this decision on. I could care less, it's good news for me

I just read the thread and had to stop at page 3. The bitch fest about casuals and the hardcore sentiment of many just ....made me sick.

On topic, the change is great I think. I'm one of those casuals that will likely not see this places for a very long time, but it's nice to know alot of the grind has been removed from the path.

But seriously, I support them opening SSC/TK to more casual players, so I can recruit more people on my low pop server without bashing my head through a plate glass window.

Unfortunately removing the keying requirements will do nothing to change how shitty a player they are.

Half my guild is vomiting shit on our forums about how Blizz is "giving in to the nubs". Last time I checked, we've not raided on our raid days 4 times in the past two weeks cause we only had about 20 attuned for SSC and we just started downing Magtheridon. We're obviously cutting edge eh?

We had the exact same problem, now we are doing 1-2 bosses a week since I lit a fire under peoples' asses. Typically in a 3+ night a week raid guild people WANT to see new content, but the trick is getting them motivated. I had a few key acquisitions and some serious boss-work that prevented us from transferring because attendance was so bad. The lack of attunement will make it easier for me to recruit since there are currently only 4 guilds in SSC and 3 in TK on my entire server and most of them have loyal playerbases, so I can hardly get anyone in who's already attuned since noone runs it.

Run-on wall of text, but I like the changes personally. Also we can bring in alts more easily now, since half our Gruul/Mag runs are full of alts at this point.

Casual Progression

Tada, guild/raid leader type person trying to figure out where the hell to go so as not to end up as dog-paste while still keeping their members happy.

I've already got 18 questions in my PM box at rebirthed.com from people on our server trying to figure out basicly:

"Our guild can't kill nightbane, can we kill hydross?"

or

"We haven't found karazhan yet, but we know where SSC is, can we do it?"

etc

(ok, latter reworded because it was a long winded way of saying they haven't killed moroes yet but they were ok at 40 man stuff)

I don't mourn the backflagging, but I'm going to mourn the obvious Step A -->> Step B -->> Step C progression path.

Really wish they'd stayed with kill mag for tk and kill gruul for ssc and then fixed the scrolls to allow you to point and click attune whoever for that instance whenever you liked.

yeah its completely bizzare. We have people not even attuned to Karazhan that are bitching up a storm about it. Im really happy that I don't have to go through a million attunements now. Everyone that bitches should get the perspective of doing it on two toons. It sucks horribly.

There's a gigantic shitstorm currently going on about it so I didn't feel the need to mention it. :P

Area 52 is a complete cluster-fuck on my server. Some of our mages are getting over 300 kills in 10 minutes, and it took me 5 deaths to find the vendor and buy my crap.

They put in a vendor at SW/Ogrimmar in the hall of champions!
