But is it justified to at the same time punish people who are not interested in doing PvP? (I consider the spell hit rating on the PvP weapons to be part of this 'punshiment' aswell, since its part of making them unchallenged for certain classes till Hyjal)
edit: as shown a few posts after this one, the spellblades are obviously by far the only example.

Just killed Lurker. After he is dead, the water doesn't scald anymore, nor are there fishies. Guess you don't have to skip him before going to Morogrim now.

Similarly feeling compelled to find an Arena team to plug PvE itemization gaps. From Latro's Shifting sword to Gladiator's Quickblade?

Apparently a lot of the mobs over at Netherwing Ledge don't drop cloth or silver anymore. >_>

Yes, confirming this.
Shame too-- I absolutely hate banish, it's bad enough that I can't refresh it early like poly, and even more annoying that I can't choose to break it anymore. Ahhhh those brief few weeks of bliss....

Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe it was supposed to be defense? That would make it a very sexy ring for a stunningly narrow subset of people...and the AP one just baffles me because I can't quite come up for a valid reason for it.
|
Well, it might be possible with a few such items to skip Anticipation (for Paladins and Warriors) or Survival of the Fittest (for Druids), allowing a bit more diverse builds. Not that it makes that much difference... but every bit helps.
They might also stealth-buff some boss crit rates somewhere on later stages too... then it'll make perfect sence.

No it wont, since you'll be trading an equal amount of defense for resilience, while defense is alot more effective in PvE than resilience. (for non druids)
Every high level tank 'could' skip anticipation to stay above 490, but that would allow for alot less gear flexibility, mainly on resist fights. (and anticipation is a pretty good avoidance talent aswell)

Olm "feature"
We've always tanked Olm (Maulgar, Gruul's Lair) by misdirecting him onto a sacrificial victim who eats the first death coil, and then just tanking him with a pet for 50 seconds until the second pet spawns, letting the first one die, and tanking him again, etc., etc., until the priest is dead and we can kill him.
Tonight, post-2.1.2, he decided that pets can be deathcoiled. Was a fairly nasty surprise to us, as we've been used to tanking him with the pets all the way through (the self-cleansing is handy).
Not sure if this is a "feature" or a "bug".
On a positive note, Gruul didn't hit the 3rd aggro target this patch ... yay for learning something. Baby steps!

I noticed tonight that pets can be Noobcoiled but I also noticed last week that it can no longer be spell reflected by Warrior's, which sucks.

This ring is somewhat amusing as paladins would be beter off with a pure "pve" ring than this thing.

Some things I noticed:
Hydross is like half the size he was before, or maybe I'm retarded.
You can no longer use a script to change Master Looter to white or grey quality items. This is a pain in the ass for control freak MLs like myself. Actually, it looks like the command was removed or changed altogether.
Marks of the Illidari are now Green quality instead of White.
The zone-restricted potions from TK and SSC now stack up to 15 (instead of 5).

This quest reward completely killed the market for Super Mana and Super Healing potions, and those 2 are a staple for alchemists. Not nice to lvl a skill to a rather high lvl to see that anybody can get one of the nicest benefit out of a daily quest - and 3 of each per day is certainly more than enough for most players (not even counting those who don't even have a mana bar).
Alchemy already suffered enough recently that this change is only fair.

I'd say loottables for Hydross,Lurker and Morogrim have been changed quite considerably, has anyone had loot from a boss that previously dropped elsewhere or trash for that matter?

I'll keep this derail short, but anyone who spends most of their time in game raiding should really be ecstatic about the flask/elixir "nerf". Instead of blowing through several stacks of herbs each night, I just pop a flask once we're past the farm content and I'm good to go. As a side effect, I am usually overflowing with extra herbs that I can throw on the AH for profit. The amount of time I spend doing things that are "fun" vs "required" since 2.1 has been a huge relief.

Mote drop rate
I realize that it's purely anecdotal, but after a brief farming run on the elemental plateau with my hunter, I'm wondering whether they lowered the drop rate on motes. I typically put together 2-3 primals an hour in that area, but in 45m of farming this AM, I got a grand total of three motes. Anyone else experiencing a lower than usual drop rate, or was it just bad luck on my part?

AI changed on the Time Lost High Priests in Skettis. They mostly stick to a long cast Holy Smite, with an occasional SW:P and flash heal, instead of spamming flash heal constantly and being general pains in the ass.
It also seemed like they've fixed the Monstrous Kaliri to not attack people on the ground- at least, in an hour tonight I didn't get attacked even on little bridges, nor did I see anyone else get attacked on the ground, but I'd want a large sample size to be sure. That's a welcome change, given that they still give no rep and no loot.
The mana pot change to the Skettis daily escort quest is unwelcome and we'll leave it at that. It's not like herbalism (even after the consumables nerf) didn't already sell everything it can pick, while skinners are still waiting for the fix that makes skinning products more marketable.

They also skin a lot more Knothide Scraps instead of Fel Scales (seem to be completely removed), Crystal Infused Leather (full stack yesterday, got 5 today in same clears for my Hides and Crystals) and Knothide Leather.
Also, the level 70 Ravagers still aren't tameable

The memory leak? I agree, I still find myself having to use that task manager trick to get ~20 FPS back I lost after 2-3 alt tabs.

Which trick? Unless you mean "kill the process, restart the game"?
