Patch 2.1.2 Kael'Thas Bug?
We were attempting Kael'thas and we got to Phase 4 fine, then when he was supposed to tear down the walls for Phase 5 he went up for a second to do his animation, but didn't start it, he just hovered around the room not doing anything but glowing then despawned. I don't know if this was caused recently by the patch or what, because I haven't heard of him despawning before. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem tonight or any other night?

From what I have read you are the first one to report this, so it would seem it may be an isolated case (one would hope), but this seems like something that would be hot fixed pretty quickly.

to clarify, he despawned after like 3-4 minutes of just being untargetable running around after me (MT) doing nothing.

Didn't see that bug on Kael tonight, but had a nice bug on High Astromancer Solarian where when we reached 20%, she started her disappear act, adds come up, so forth, she spawns still in human form, but doing her Void Spawn abilities, then got healed once by an add, started doing her human form abilities along side her void ones. Was already wiping at that point because of random shit going wrong.
Doubt it's something you'd ever see on an actual kill attempt, but killer when practically wiping.

We had this bug prior to 2.1.2. We contacted a GM which looked at the issue but couldn't do much at that time. We had a theory that it might have had something to do if he pyro's after 50%, but that's just speculating
All you can do is start again - sucks though

I think we had something similar, a soft reset seemed to fix this for us.

We fixed it by just having everyone leave and reenter the instance. You couldn't reenter until everyone was outside, because of the "encounter in progress". Didn't have to soft reset.

Don't think it has to do with pyro after 50%. Our first kill we had him hit 50%, run to the middle as if to start his animation, then cast pyro (1-shotting our completely surprised tank). The fight then continued normally after he finished tearing down the room.

Haha, our TK bug of the night was on Al'ar. We got the dumb bird to 2%, she flew up into the air for her meteor, and promptly meteored directly into the wall and respawned on the second floor. I'm pretty sure it was smirking as we all got flame buffeted to death, but I can't be sure. Lesson learned for us, don't stand next to the walls on a meteor. =P Not sure if this is something new in the patch, but I sure haven't heard of it before.

To continue the derail, we've had a tank get knockbacked by a dying add and bounce off a wall, then get meteored by Al'ar, causing Al'ar to spawn on the wall, and promptly evade to 100%.

Bumping this seeing as we experienced this bug for the first time tonight. Had a 50% Pyro during the attempt as well. Hope it gets fixed soon!

it didnt happen to us tonight, which was good, since it took us forever to get it right. I guess its just random. I heard it was fixed, but apparently not since you experienced it.

Im not sure if you mean the same thing but we've had a pyro start casting right after hes gone into '50% no longer targetable' mode, which ofcourse ends in your tank biting the dust as you can't interupt the pyro onslaught.

Yeah shield wall is the most reliable way to survive that. But with every healer free, it isn't asking much to heal 20k in 4 seconds.

The risk of pyro depends entirely on your MT hp. I only have 20.7, so there is considerably more risk for me than say, a 22k buffed tank, but its still very doable.

Nah, thats not what I'm talking about. The sequence of events that happened to us (no idea if they are related or not) was a Pyroblast at exactly 50%, which we were ready for and interrupted at the 2nd cast with everyone still alive, followed by him entering his 50% event, which never ended (he just hovered around his platform completely untargetable, performing no abilities).
Seems like a Pyro happening as he is supposed to begin his event could somehow bug the final phase of the encounter.

We had a 50% Pyro last night that behaved normally; no changes to report other than the doors being closed.
