Hey there EJ! This is Legato from PG. I read how you guys are trying to get some good ol' PvP going outside IF all the time. I have been there a couple times. The problem is that, when you guys attack, people are in instances. While you guys have the luxury of comms and leadership, we are stuck with a rag-tag group of random people. Those people, for some reason, don't know how to take orders. I would like to try and set up a EJ vs. PG event. That way we can try to even the numbers and both sides will have some type of organization. I don't know who I should PM my contact info to, but if said person could post I will send it to them.
I would be all for this. Would you guys be up for multiple small scale pvp battles as opposed to a big one? Or just two giant masses colliding?
We can field as many people as you can, so how many can you guys get and when would be some good times for this?
We recently lost a few of our 60s to Strife, boredom, and hatred of the Honor system. So, I don't know how many of my guilies would be interested. I am fine with any type of battle(s). Let me run some stuff by my guild and see what is good with them. I will get back to you within a couple days.

Most of the 60s in United Alliance are nuts about pvp Legato, I'm sure they would be happy to team up with you if you are short on numbers.
Lots of small scale battle would be more fun but unless Wubwub wants to spend a lot of time talking to Alliance on alts/AIM could be hard to organize. Just having a battle in a different place might be cool to start.

Well I figured one of the leaders could double vent. Or, if EJ uses TS, be on vent and TS. That way, when we aren't in battle we could discuss what to do for the next battle(s).
One question, where could we possibly go that can guarantee the fight not getting ruined by any of the other wonderful Horde guilds and Alliance guilds we have on our server?

Kill with impunity and without prejudice, my good fellow.

Well if we met in Desolace or a corner of Moonglade or Sithilus ( no map to check spelling) or any other ghost town area we could be largely free of players and guards interfering. No World Defense spam and we could (hopefully) just tell any random people to go away. The problem then becomes mobs messing with us and what to fight over. King of the hill maybe?

The emerald dream portal in duskwood.
Wide open area where no one ever goes, so no interference

Wide open areas don't invite many types of strategy though. It's basically zerg vs zerg which isn't very fun.
Are there any escort quests available to both horde and alliance?

How many guys do you think you could field at once? I was thinking if you guys can get 2 raid groups together, we can get that easily, then we can have 2 fights, in 2 different places, then after we fight for an hour or so at which point the honorable kill points will have dropped off tremendously, then we switch our raid groups so we're killing different people, thus maximizing our CP potential.
God damn that would be cool. Also Ashenvale was a good idea since the mosters there are only level 30ish stuff there. South Feralas wouldn't be as good due to the monster populations there. Maybe the part in Stonetalon in the chopped-down forst place since the graveyard is really close and the river makes a well defined "point of no return".
This has a lot of potential, lets talk about this more.
East Desolace sounds like it might be a good spot... mountains on one side, a little bit of water, lower level mobs, and it's kinda cool looking.
Ashenvale sounds good, too... even lower level mobs, lots of hills and trees, and looks even better.
Then there's Moonglade... no aggro and still pretty with water and hills, and it's a good size zone.
As for a set time, I think I can get get about 20 people together from Judgement. We have access to TS and Vent.

Hinterlands Turtle beach.
Nuff said.
The terrain is really awesome, and there are turtles everywhere so it will be a deterrant to the Press Tab-Hit nuke button style of gameplay.
The corpse run sucks way to hard to make that viable. Unless we wanted to discourage peopel ressing while a fight is still going, in case bravo, thats a good idea.
