The policy below will continue to be our general policy at such time that Blizzard adds new, harder outdoor raid bosses, against whom the term "attempts" once again has meaning. These days, current raid bosses generally die to whomever gets the tap. We can 15-man most of these bosses, so if we have a raid group that we truly feel can kill the boss, and we are ready to go, we will go. If we arrive on-scene at the same time as another raid group and no one was there before either of us, then whoever gets the tap gets the tap. If we arrive while one group is engaged, and another group is fully formed and waiting in line, we will respect that line and will not cut ahead.

PvP: It's a PvP server. PvP will happen at world spawns. But we will not be the initiators. We will not wipe other guilds' attempts unprovoked, and we will never use unguilded or cross-faction alts to interfere (if you suspect that this has happened, notify an EJ officer). We will, however, vigorously defend ourselves, and retaliate if our attempts are interfered with.

We are adopting (even though this was what we were using for the most part anyhow) a first come first serve policy when it comes to these types of encounters. If these mobs are up, there is a good chance we will mobilize to kill it within the shortest time possible of the spawning of said mob.

When we get to the target area, if we see another raid, our raid leader will attempt to contact their raid leader to check the status of their organization. If they are buffing up and have a full raid group ready to go at that moment, we will gladly step aside so they can get their fair shot. If they wipe, we will go in for our turn.

If however, the other raid group is not organized, still in the process of summoning people, still have not buffed, or keep asking for more time to get the neccessary people while at the same time our raid party is fully prepared and set, we will attack the boss.

There will be discretionary times when communication will always be open in case the other raid wants to try with fewer people anyway, or needs 5 minutes to get the remaining 5-10 people and buff up. If it takes any longer than that, and we are prepared, we're going to go ahead with our raid plan for that boss.

Unfortunately due to design, races are inevitable for outdoor boss mobs like Kazzak.
