It looks like you are only running with 1 OT, which I have never considered before.

We run with 2 hateful tanks. Hateful strike hits the offtank with the most health, which would have meant that if you have a second offtank, not only do hatefuls stagger between 2 tanks, they also don't run the risk of insta-gibbing melee if your OT does get too low.

The big difference between your log and Namoya's log actually is the fact that Namoya is running with 3 tanks (Skullsmasher, Kilgrim, Ragno) While you are running with 2 tanks (Troxx, Bladeweaver). This is why your hatefuls are coming so fast.

The only reason hatefuls will come that fast is if your 2nd OT stays low for too long. Typically it should be a matter of:

Tank a @ 20.1k, tank b @ 20k, Hateful Tank a
Tank a @ 12k, tank b @ 20k, Hateful Tank b
Tank a gets healed to 20k, tank b @ 12k, Hateful tank a
Tank a @ 12k, Tank b gets healed to 20k, Hateful tank b

Etc.

This halves the speed of the incoming hatefuls by spreading them around.

If you are slow on healing:

Tank a @ 20.1k, tank b @ 20k, Hateful Tank a
Tank a @ 12.1k, tank b @ 20k, Hateful Tank b
Tank a @ 12.1k, tank b @ 12k, Hateful tank a
Tank a @ 4.1k, tank b @ 12k, Hateful tank b
Tank a @ 4.1k, tank b @ 4k, Hateful tank b
Tank b dies.

And that seems like the hatefuls came really fast, but it's really because tank A wasn't healed up fast enough to be a candidate for the next hateful.

If you run with 1 OT you also have to worry about other melee getting hateful if your OT gets low.

That seems really odd. We only use 1 OT on Supremus, it's either myself or another feral druid doing it and neither of us have over 20k health in our tank gear as we gear more for dps than for tanking. We've never had a problem with tank or melee deaths when learing Supremus or farming him now. It was always an issue of people not moving consistently and camping in a volcano field. I can't believe that we've gotten lucky in all our kills therefore would parry's possibly account for the quick hateful strikes?

As far as I know only regular melee hits are sped up by parries, so I doubt that has much to do with it. We've done it both with a single and two off-tanks, but since it's really not even close to a dps race for anyone getting to him, going with two tanks to eat the strikes to minimize risk is probably worth it.

I doubt you have gotten lucky as much as just not gotten extremely unlucky when using just one off-tank - feral druids are pretty well suited for that with high armor and good avoidance.

I can't explain why for sure, but I do know for a fact there is a variable time between hateful strikes, and it could just be a choose to use it factor. I've done it with 1 OT and with 2 OT's, and while I certainly recommend 2 OT's, having done it with 1 OT does show that sometimes hatefuls are 10 seconds apart, sometimes they're back to back with about a second between them, and just about everywhere in between.
