Kind of late but I've been busy this morning.

Prerequisite for that to happen: successful testing for a substantial period on PTR.
Plans can sometimes change when things happen, but that is our plan at this time of writing. As you know the voice chat feature is not enabled on PTR yet, there is still a level of internal testing and debugging going on that we really need to complete before activating it on PTR.

That's right guys, they're making 100% sure that when 2.2 hits, you can listen to DJ
XI pumping out the phat beats in AFK Valley. I expect any Alliance farming honour will become intimately familiar with the
Scboo song (link NWS for explicit lyrics). A new era of WoW griefing has begun.
Illidan Off-Hand Drops
Drama has gotten the world first off-hand, all hail the random number generator.
Blizzcon Tournament Brackets Announced, amongst other less important things
Check out the fact that 7 out of 8 teams have Warrior-Paladin-Shaman in their lineup and Pandemic's terrible lineup due to DQs. Also of note, two double-Warrior teams and two teams with Hunters on them, TFO pretty much has a bye on the first round.
Also, the panel listing and event schedule have been posted on the main site, but no one really cares except maybe for Elendril because he'll actually be on one of the panels (the TCG one). Hopefully this year's Character Sound-Alike contest will have more Deckard Cains, Battlecruisers and That-Troll-Who-Always-Laughs-In-Org, versus fat people trying to do Murloc sounds.
The Next Expansion is Wrath of the Lich King
Internet detectives have determined that Wrath of the Lich King will be the name of the next expansion. This is backed up by the fact that WoW Insider has found information that the Video Games Live Orchestra will be playing songs creatively titled "Northrend 1, 2 and 3" at Blizzcon. Good job on hiding it, guys.
Also, if you go to
www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/ you get a 403 error, whereas any other imaginary subdirectory, e.g.
www.worldofwarcraft.com/thegnomishinquisition/, leads you to a 404 error. Clearly this is further evidence (or it can just be Blizzard screwing around with internet sleuths).
The Simpsons was a pretty mediocre movie
Sort of like a glorified TV episode with Futurama-style CG. I suppose it didn't help that I saw the Code Geass season finale (episodes 24-25) the next day, which significantly outshone the Simpsons movie in amazingness.
Amusing Armoury Link of the Week
[This.]
If you frequent the Hunter forums (but really, who does aside from bored Hunters who want to troll stupid people?), this is probably old hat, but for everyone else, this is fresh and original. It's a testament to how idiot-friendly this game is, really.
e: Also, I loved Defense Gems as much as any other Hunter does, but this guy takes the cake.
