Malchezaar classics: Priest dies because he used SWeath while enfeebled. DPS warrior stays in a couple more seconds in before running out of shadow nova, starts running, defensive stance, intervene... back to the MT.

Hmm. Once on Shahraz our pally CL cast Divine Intervention on the MT instead of holy light. To this day we don't know how he got them mixed up, but it was at ~98% so we just laughed it off.

Today on Illidan I accidentally pulled aggro on him in demon form (doing leet DPS on the trap and was so absorbed in it that I didn't pull out until I'd eaten 2 ticks of his aura) and just noticed it as I was sprinting through a pack of healers. His shadow bolt was in the air, I said "ohshit" out loud and hit vanish.

Needless to say, we found out the hard way that Illidan's shadow bolt still has the AoE component even if his target isn't hit by it.

We were going to wipe anyway (MT dead to shear with no combat rez) but I still felt really bad about it. We got him down next try though, so I guess it wasn't so bad.

A rogue got pissed off at me for feigning death when a raid leader called out for us to run out on a failed Hydross attempt, so he CloS and evade tanked Hydross and his adds on top of me.

The next attempt we failed he hit sprint to try and run out past the adds, so I decided to help him out by casting aspect of the pack right as he took a hit from one of the adds. He stopped trying to get me killed while I was feigning death.

We have a mage that we lovingly refer to as our "tank" (we gave him the mage tank job in Gruuls because of this), because he had no idea how to control his aggro for about the first 3 months he was 70. In karazhan he was taking aggro and dieing a lot as usual, when he started taking friendly jabs at me (we go back and forth a lot like that in good fun). So the next AE pack we pulled I decided to do my standard Fire trap + volley misdirect, only instead of landing it on the tank I put it on our mage. As soon as the tank's AE taunt wore off I yelled over vent who I was misdirecting, and he died instantly when every single mob in the pull hit him at once.

Some time ago one of our warlocks banished his Inner demon at Leo for some unknown reason, resulting him dead. And this was after our first illidan kill.

Lightwell object increased in size to make it easier to click.

Back in ye good ole MC days when we had everything on farm for months suddenly our MT was dying on almost every boss. Nobody was able to find a reason for it, tho there seemed to be some issues with the healing. The MT claimed he wouldn't get any heals and the healers of course didn't have a clue what they were blamed for. As we just couldn't figure out we ended the raid.
One or two days later I was farming in Silithus with one of our hunters and suddenly I saw something that just seemed like a bad dream to me. It was a bear. Well, it wasn't just a normal bear - it was the pet of the hunter. And no - it was not just a normal bear that served that hunter's needs - it was a bear with the exact name of our maintank. For some very odd reason most of our raid healers used target macros bound to their healing spells these days... you can imagine the rest.

My favorite dumb thing I've done so far was messing around with Avengers Shield (the prot pala "lolol captn. america" thingy). We just had wiped at VR and were on our way back when I stopped at Al'ar, said something like "Hey guys! Look what I can do!" and startet to cast AS. The original plan was to stop the cast in time, but unfortunately I was so busy with thinking about all those shocked faces that we got officially fried within the following 10 seconds.

Casting Shadow Word: Death on Netherspite with a good 40 stacks of the blue beam was something I don't think anyone has mentioned thus far.

Other good ones have been seeing how many shots I could squeeze in before Nef's hunter call (2 broken epic bows later...), Multishot on Twin Emps (thanks goodness for a keybound Feign Death), probably some other goodies I don't recall.

I specced Retribution tonight just for fun, and not 30 seconds into Prince I get Enfeebled and immediately kill myself via Seal of Blood.

Back in MC, lava packs before Golemagg's bridge were being handled terribly, tanks dying, elementals not be banished etc.. losing half the raid or so on each pull or something.

MT starts to get annoyed, stops pulling and starts to reiterate what needs to be done by who, checking healing etc... and asking if we can "just do it right" or words to that effect. Naturally, he pulls the next pack on the other side of the bridge, few seconds later falls of the bridge, dies and aggro's Golemagg/the remaining trash packs.

More recently though it has to be unequipping my weapon for the Kara Ethereal Thief trash packs and forgetting to requip it after.

My new favorite moment, a few weeks back, helping with an alt Kara run. Things are a little slow going on the Shade, due to most people not being comfortable with raiding on the toons, we lose a couple DPS'ers early but get him down to about 25%. The Shade takes a step away from me and does his flame wreath. Not being able to hit him I decide to pop out of cat form and Battle Rez a mage to move things along. As I'm casting I said over vent, "Don't take this..." cast finishes, Mage pops up next to me, raid wipes, "... until... crap." I'm not sure if I'm the one who should feel dumb or the mage (alt of a druid) who had done the same thing I did the week before.

One time on Prince I landed up bubbling midway through p1, getting enfeebled, thinking I can still darkrune ... whoops.

Also, 50 stacks of Nether Portal Dominance + Inner Focus + Shadow Word: Death = 8k damage to Netherspite, 28k to me.

There's also the time I stepped over a Flame Wreath three times with Aran at 2%, that was almost a wipe of epic proportions (full-health, all-alive raid group -> 3 people alive, all sub 20%). To this day I have no idea how I managed it. :x

Oh .. and today I planned-suicided into VR with a soulstone, rezzed up, then buffed myself with fort and then realised both mana pot and shadowfiend were on cooldown. Not one of my better moments.

There's also the classic moment of my leading an Onyxia raid (back when she was serious business) - "Okay, guys, can we do this with less egg aggro this time?" ... I move in to put JoW up on Ony, she moves forward because she's just bounced the tank off the wall, I get tailswiped right down the middle of the eggs.

Also, just for fun, here is our first Lurker attempt of last week (on Lurker's damage output). We'd just spent two hours with people falling in the water left right and center, yet they couldn't do it when it was beneficial to them to do so.

One of the most hilarious things I remember was the day of the priest patch more than a year ago. All priests were so excited with their holy nova that we decided they could help aoeing at the nefarian zerg. Nefarian at 20%, zerg comes, priest call, all priests holy novaing, all healers and dps dead .

The only wipe I ever caused in raid was on Grobbulus I think, pulled aggro with a monster ignite, he slime sprays the whole raid and spawns 30 blobs.

At one point, I had an addon that would swap in my fishing pole when I hit my fishing key, so I could press it twice to start fishing when I didn’t have the pole equipped. My fishing key was Ctrl-W, and I have a lot of abilities bound to Ctrl-something. (Like Ctrl-R for Bloodrage, etc.)

One day, we’re halfway through Prince Malchezar phase 3, and I’m like “Damn. All of my abilities have been grayed out for the a while now... I keep adjusting position a little to try to get him back in front of me, but it’s not fixing it. What the heck is going on?”

We did take him down, though. Clearly fishing poles are the Prince’s secret weakness.

Well.. The raidgroup has somewhat of a member shortage - Now, my favorite recruiting ground is "LFG-Heroic"-> armory-> go on a heroic run to see if they can play.
as that gets me people who
1: Have their reputations in order.
2: Have decent kit
3: like a challenge
and
4: Probably, ehh, how to put this, are looking for a decent group to hang out with. (if they were in a good guild, what are they LFG- heroic for?)

all fairly clever so far, right? now, the stupid bit. So I was raidleading a 22 man expedition into ssc (got the lurker! and leo to 51%) and during a bio/rebuff I decide to browse trough the lfg to see what was out there and armory it. Cue Chorus of "Why did we just join LFG?"

Many tricks to killing people on frogger after patchwerk:

Snowballs, rogues stealthing made the blobs stop, totems, aspect of the pack. Snowballs were my favorite, almost everyone did our froggers naked.

There was always that one guy, he always found a way to die to red glare. This SOB must be the most unlucky person in the world. hamstring, tentacles spawning on him, dog dying on his keyboard, etc. You name it, it made red glare kill him.

I've always been a big fan of people tempting fate with proximity pulls close to Golemagg while everyone is clearing the trash before Sulfuron. The deliberate "OMG WHO DID THAT?!?!!? QUICK SOMEONE D I" *Synchronised Hellfire Spam* pulls are just delicious too.

Also for some reason our guild had this absolutely chronic habit of accidentally pulling the single ghost trash mobs around the Karazhan side door -> Curator. And on several pulls there our MT would die every single time. Same pulls, same people, every week, death without fail.

And i've DPSd many Gruul attempts with no weapons equipped whilst i was Enhancement. Dare i read into the fact that i've never been present for any of our kills?

On our second Kael'thas kill I got confused between the timer for Gravity Lapse and the one for the beam. I intercepted him like halfway through and tanked him for about 30 seconds with 7 stacks of the debuff. I still don't know how I survived.
