We had one BWL where our Pally CL would have sex with his wife between boss fights.

Last night was our guild's first Naj'entus kill. We went in with 21 people around 8 server to start clearing trash, since we still had several people not attuned, and others were offline. This was our second time ever inside the instance, so a lot of people didn't know how a lot of the trash worked. While it went down quickly enough, we'd get ambushed a few times by the patrolling Aqueous Spawns. Normally these die easily, but this once happened while we were running back from a wipe, and with the group split up they tore through us pretty easily. Naturally people fled for the exit to save themselves, and naturally the spawns chased them. However, they had the annoying habit of bugging out and not resetting when the people made it outside, so the whole raid had to stand around as ghosts, waiting for them to reset. This happened again as we tried (and failed) to clear one of those optional rooms that are full of the spawns.

Since we didn't have enough people to kill Naj at that time we left the instance and killed Mag (oddly enough nothing got sharded ), then came back with 24 people. By this point you'd think people would have figured out not to run out when we were wiping. No such luck - we got to stare at the instance portal again that night.

We had someone who after the guild's first Hakkar kill explained that the batteries in his wireless mouse had exploded during the fight, and he had to leave immediately because his hand was in terrible pain from the battery acid on them.

For reference, the trash that invades the alliance base WILL follow you to the ends of the earth if you aggro it.
And put the raid in combat when they're trying to mine stuff.
And kill you when you lag off a cliff.

You've just described the reason I completely disabled every keybind related to actionbars. I just reconfigure it when I respec.

In my group we called it "Ragnaros attunement" ("Is everybody Rags attuned?") It's funny that deadly terrain features inspire the same shenanigans from server to server.

Someone accidentally cast divine intervention (instead of LOH) on the MT in Hyjal with Azgalor @ 44% last night. GG there goes 30 minutes.

Tekari: "Huh wha?" <gib>
MT: "never mind I have divine intervention." <mouse heard being slammed on desk>

Wicken or Elaclya?

I was announcing clicks for Magtheridon Tuesday night. We were getting the clicks, but we were a little slow, taking a tick or two, so I decided to try and pre-emptively call the click. Mags decided to wait almost five seconds before doing Blast Wave, went into banish a second before he started casting Blast Wave on anyone's screen, shouted "Oh no! Not again," did a tick of blast wave, then stopped right as I was preparing to apologize to everyone for fucking up.

I can remember the countless times we'd get server lag (or on occasion, a few of our campus dwelling shamanas, client lag) during Razorgore which would end in 3 or 4 dead shamans. We eventually just got used to kiting as long as we could, taking our death, and anhking in phase 2 and finishing off the fight.

Hydross~

1. During transition from nature to frost, a mage drinks a mana pot, Hydross comes to say hi to him, wiping the raid.

2. During transition from frost to nature, a hunter heals his pet. (same night as #1) Hydross pays a visit to the hunter, wiping the raid.

I've seen so many different ways people can pull agro. As a rogue, I stop dps when transition is called, and run to the side he's being moved to. It's really not to hard. I think a /rasp could pull agro. Once we had 3-4 sets of adds spawn.

Whenever we start wiping, I do whatever I can to make it faster. In the case of Hydross, I do my best to pull him back and forth over the line - we got at least six sets of adds before I died on one attempt. (For Mag, I DI the MT since the healers refuse to stop healing him.)

It's great when does that little 360 right on the line and instantly spawns 12 adds.

I think our record for most adds up and still killing him was 10.

Not so much a stupid thing, but still a funny thing -

Being priest class leader in an oldschool guild (Pre AQ40) with Nef on farm status. Priest call, all rogues magically die. Fucking rogues. :P

back in the olden days all the paladins would chain DI the MT in MC ..or whoever was the #1 on DPS charts to mess with them hehe.

Our priests used to spam heal the hunters to pay them back for all of the wipes they lived through with feign death.
