I don't even think it's a noob. It's like he's trying to be famous by dodging every single one of important prot talents, on purpose. I don't think you can come up with a spec like that by knowing absolutely nothing about prot warriors.

I just checked the armory on the guy in question (Wranthas of Ravencrest) so I could see what he spent the points on in arms and fury (My money was on deep wounds). He's currently 0/0/61 and to his credit, the maxed out everything except improved revenge where he only slapped two points. You sir are the Kwisatz Haderach.

This week the same mage managed to pull aggro on RoS P3, Gurtogg and Illidan. The first two weren't particularily funny and resulted in wipes, but the latter was particularily funny. We were on 8% and Illidan had just come out of demon form, our MT runs in, picks him up and starts building threat, then suddenly he turns around, casts Draw Soul, hitting 10 people, heals back upto 22% then runs over and 1-shots the mage. Luckily the tank got control of him again, we combatressed the mage and killed him without issue, but it was certainly fun to watch.

While running MgT, there was a full vengeful hunter in the group. We wiped due to the healer dying from the trapped mob.
When I asked him what broke it, he said "I broke it and feigned. I wanted to see if the healer could solo it."

We had tidewalker on farm(one shots) for about 3 weeks. However, we still had problems with the murlocs. Specifically, every time they popped up, they'd run in, murder a healer, then go on to our prot pally. Our priests were burning fade the moment they popped up, and it appeared to work-our resto druid(me) would die every earthquake to rolling lifebloom aggro(I made sure to stop all other HoT's right before the earthquake by swiftmending off the rejuv). Every attempt, I'd die at least once, without any warning from omen that I had aggro. I was getting pissed, and got into arguements with the pally over whether or not he had RF on, how a BoP would be nice, etc. It's worth mentioning that our positioning had tidewalker in the doorway, the raid directly behind him, and the pally behind the raid in a direct line from morogrim to the raid. So the murlocs were running through the raid.
That week, I decided to stand 5 feet to the right of the raid. Murlocs pop up, they run straight past me(killing a priest on the way), and to the pally tank. I didn't die to that boss again. It took me 3 weeks to remember that ranged needs 130% aggro on mobs to take aggro... versus 110% for melee. >_<

I've unfortunately had to deal with some people who thought it was funny to pull various stunts that wipe your group. They were even in my guild. The normal response to me giving them grief was along the lines of "Lighten up, it's a game, I'm just having fun." Yeah, I didn't particularly stay very long in that guild....

Yes, I once grouped with a particular hunter for normal TK rep runs. He had a thing for pulling random packs. His excuse was "I make more excite." Lucky our groups were good enough to handle it.

Well our twins strat involves range dps and healers at the top of the ramp, so some people put walk on to jump ontop of the ledge(so they dont overjump and agro). After a bit into the attempt a gnome warlock got conflag and went to the conflag spot, only, he still had his walk key on! Has to be one of the funniest wipes I'v seen in a long time :> especially with the gnome walk animation

He's levelling enchanting? The gloves don't seem that bad(both that and the chest enchant are levelling enchants), but as for the gem... yeah.

It was our second night ever in ZA, we grabbed the 10 best raiders we had online last night and we were going to make a serious pass at getting the bear boss down. After we got warmed up to the trash (having lost the raid leader we had the first time we went in), we settled into a rhythm and were finally buffed and ready for the pull. Our feral OT asks me if he should put on tank gear or DPS gear. I tell him to stay in DPS gear, I don't anticipate any problems. (Yes, that's the stupid part, you'll see why) Our warrior MT and I coordinate the pull, we open up a serious whooping on this guy, and everything is going absolutely perfectly. No mana issues, no deaths, we burn him past 25% and set a new record attempt. We're all thinking it's as good as a kill. I grab aggro on the last bear transition, pop my wings, drop a Consecrate... And the boss stops moving. My DSL modem had chosen that exact moment to crap out on me. When I reconnected, I was told that it was a 10% wipe because our feral tank had his DPS gear on. <_<

Some of the best wipes are when you're rezzing and someone walks around to the bottom...

I'm a big fan of his Critical Strike Rating gem in the chest. Yep, MELEE crit, not spell crit. He has spell crit gems elsewhere in his gear...

had to add for sheer humor and was brought up again this weekend.
we were sitting before the trash after lurker on way to leotheras where it goes back to wood ramps.
all standing there waiting for another to show up.
almost in slow motion, a fel hunter went running from the group towards the mobs. it was out-of-place that we all agreed after all we could do was go "hm look at that. a fel hunter running towards mobs." even the person who had accidentally sent it didn't realize they did it.
only one person had the presence to say on vent "um guys.." before the wipe.
still talk about it reverently to this day

Brutallus wipe #15, everyone is full buffed, but not yet in position:

Doing this as a trial member plain sucks

We were doing Kalecgos the other day, and somehow people in my group kept on dying. I figured I'd keep an eye on the group healer for the next go, so I set my focus on her. Next attempt starts, we run in, I get to my spot and watch what our group healer is casting, while pressing my shadowbolt button. Like 30 seconds into the attempt, Kalecgos turns around, while targetting me. I figure I'm getting ported. To my great surprise, he actually walks towards me and whacks me, resulting in an instant death. Upon reading my combat log, I found out that I had apparently received the +100% crit damage buff, but I missed it because I was watching the group healer... I had just scored 3 19/20k crits in a row. Oops...

Reminds you of our old Thaddius attempts Inter? Lol failing at ledge jumping.
Back then we could regularly 35man it because the same few downies would
consistently miss the jump.

We had a trialist shaman dieing from his own Soul charge on Archimonde. Yes, ankhing before the soulcharge releases is smart, even better if you realise we have a rule stating our RL will tell someone if/when to ankh/cr/whatnot.
Now, surviving one of those is already tricky for our raidgroup, surviving two in a row was really annoying. Best attempt of that night so far, 18% wipe. ><

Before our kill we had a 9% p2 wipe due to a bad rogue getting conflag (not even a bugged one) and blowing up all the melee and tanks.
Immediately afterwards we're all mocking him and such, and i go to hop up on the ledge for my md.... straight over.
Lately though; i've had a problem with my pet running off attacking bosses or trash before pulls.. like on m'uru last night. It's odd because there's never a lightning breath so I know its not my shot rotation macro and I don't have pet attack bound.

Keep in mind for this little episode that I use HealBot, and have various click-key-cast combinations bound. My left-click is Healing Wave (rank 10), and I use that as my main heal in most fights (any fight with a bunch of raid damage and I use my right-click, Chain heal 3, but that has no relevance to this story). Shift-Left click, though, is Healing Wave (Rank 1), which I use to stack Healing Way before/during fights, force Fathom-Brooch procs, chain-cast for crits for Ancestral Fortitude, etc.
I was playing on a friend's computer for this episode, though he had all the mods I normally use (including Vent), so it was a simple matter of configuring them all. No biggie, it's done inside of 15 minutes, and I get into a Heroic Magister's Terrace. Fist pull goes down as I'm chatting away with my guildies in the Ventrillo Tavern channel, and our main tank drops in about 15 seconds. I wonder how, and we try it again. Same result, and I knew the tank was in prot gear and spec.
Long story short, my friend's push-to-talk key is Shift. I had been healing with Rank 1 Healing Wave.
