Dalaran is being moved to become the "New Shattrath." It will float above the Dragonblight as a expansion capital city.
Lake Wintergrass is a new PvP zone. You will be flagged upon entering (including on a PvE server). It is to the west of Dragonblight.

Inscription will effectively kill any try ever made to ever again compile a good spreadsheet
Apart from that I'm excited, especially about them beginning to explore dwarf lore. Uldum and/or similar instances would be absolutely awesome. The dwarf lore has been lying around unattented (except for Uldaman) for much too long, so this makes me a happyhappy dwarfdruid.
I am seriously hoping for them to insert several "easy" raidinstances with increasingly harder timer/heroic/whatever tests too them, so that most people get to see the amazing scenery in all the raid dungeons even if they never reach toplevel raiding.

I'd actually say you want to make it easier for the opposing faction to take over the city, the longer that you've held onto it. You could do this by having the opposing faction wheel up more and more siege weapons and the like over time, and the defenders portray themselves as besieged, calling for reinforcement, and whining when they aren't forthcoming.
Eventually it'd get to the point where one lonely Horde player comes up, looks at 40 Alliance players carrying out their business. He grins and presses the button that unleashes a swarm of Goblin bombing zeppelins and ravening meat wagons.

I was rather hoping that they'd do away with flying mounts, but apparently dalaran is going to be suspended mid-air.

To balance that out, having progressively better rewards for holding onto a zone for a considerable length of time would be interesting. Sort of a pvp version of the Blade's Edge event.

Mine did. I'm trying to see if there are alternate streams. Let me know if you find something out.

Will be changes coming to speed up 1-60 and 1-70.

This is good to hear.
Also, from the Q&A (emphasis mine):
|
f you're decked out in Illidan gear or the new raid zone that I can't mention just yet that will be out before the expansion (!), that gear will last you a while. But players like upgrades early and often.
|
Pretty clear indication that there'll be a (probably 25-man) raid instance out, since that's not referring to ZA.

Reading the WoW Insider live blog, I came across this:
"We learned players want to interact with people like Illidan, so everyone will have a chance to hang out with Arthas, not just an ingame raid."
Combined with the context of the Death Knight's introduction in the trailer (where Arthas claims they are working for him all along), could the Death Knight class be more of a gimmick class? Where you basically get to re-level from 68-80 as a Death Knight in Northrend doing quests for Arthas instead. Nothing substantial (in that, no one will have a Death Knight "main"), but it allows them to add a lot more cool lore and quest lines into the game from the Bad Guy's perspective.

1:47pm: Will green items in Northrend be better than Tier 4? Yes, we do expect to see the same kind of progression. We were happy overall with the way it worked. If you're decked out in Illidan gear or the new raid zone that I can't mention just yet that will be out before the expansion (!), that gear will last you a while. But players like upgrades early and often.
New raid zone out before the expansion?

Didn't they add a lot of emerald dream stuff in some recent patch?
I really hope the new raid instance referenced isn't Zul'Aman.

The FAQ mentions the Death Knight as a tanking/dps class for groups and raids; that certainly sounds like it'll be a possible main character once you've created one rather than a gimmick.

He also indicated that the intent of hero classes, plural, was basically that people could play their favorite WC3 heroes.

They also said the Death Knights would be a endgame raid class. So maybe you hang out with Arthas, helping him along, then when you reach 80, you realize he was wrong and it becomes a usable character for the factions.
But then that brings the problem of gearing up, unless quests give epic quality tier X gear. Which they would be able too, since you aren't really able to instance at that point.

1:41pm: Q&A Time. More work done towards midlevel content? Yes, we may do more of that before the expansion, but we want players to roll up. Will be changes coming to speed up 1-60 and 1-70.
That would be nice.
