I can't find it anywhere that they're "abondoning paladins", or that the Death Knight is a Paladin-only class. It's not a Warlock-only class. It's not exclusive. In fact, they said it would most likely be available to all races; that fact alone precludes it from being Paladin-only. Don't jump the gun here.

Yea it is a good implementation for the hero classes, or now that the precedent will be set any new classes, but I think that the only new classes added for a long time will be hero classes. SO bye bye monk and bard:/
I would like to know the actual implementation. I wonder if these Death Knights are going to be akin to seige weapons. I.E. provide the group or raid with a new very powerful tank and damage dealer and not available for PVP?
Imagine the DK is the new defacto tank and or damage dealer and you can do super duper epic raiding to defeat really powerful bosses. He is tanking the super duper boss, say Arthas? while your usual tanks are offtanking lesser bosses. This may be implemented to provide that feeling of uber epicness. You have a Hero, almost a boss like character and the raid has to help them defeat a boss, except the Hero is controlled by a member of the raid.

I'm quite scared as well after seeing the class panel. From the comments about rogue dps and mage dps, it seems Blizzard still thinks mages are no. 2 in single target dps and no. 1 in AoE dps, which really isn't the case. It looks like they're also thinking of buffing warrior dps to be equal to rogue dps, which would be a colossal mistake. They're overvaluing rogue utility vs warrior utility.

It seems their major plan for the old world is just another CoT wing.
I'd like to see them do something with the area east of wetlands, the one south of silverpine, west of burning steppes, etc.
Also, present hyjal hasn't been touched, quite curious if (or when) they'll be touching back to azeroth.

There current plans are to allow all races access to DK.

Which is another sad joke as Log is betting a bye. If you do 8 team invite only so called 'world champs', you better make sure the attendees can also make it.
Was idiotic enough that Log played against 4 player teams in their first TWO rounds at the euro quali thing. The third round was the final btw, if I remember correctly, they were qued at that point for the 'worlds', after beating two teams with four players.
And now they are getting another bye ... should give blizz a warning to increase prize support so that people actually show up.

They're showing us a list of dungeons and raids for the new expansion. This might change because they see how much everyone loves Kara, and they want to give us more 10 man content.

4:13 Heroic keys are also very successful, and they will continue to look at that system as we continue to progress
I only view those as limitations to what my alts can and can't take part in. Otherwise f'ing retarded.

People who appreciate the lore behind it. Karazhan is huge in terms of WoW lore. This is a role playing game after all, if you're just killing things or questing with no real point it might as well be a shooter.

Very few people here, I'll wager. For the vast majority of players, however, BM normal mode is a serious challenge, and having a Karazhan key a notable status symbol. The quest line itself worked well, the only problem with it is a lack of "breadcrumbing" to lead you to it in the first place.

I should have qualified my statement. The part where you go to Medivh in CoT for the key.
Awesome.
You see, when it became apparent that I was stranded here I split the key into three fragments.
I placed the keys inside enchanted containers, and in turn placed those in places that were safe at the time.
With the dark changes Outland has endured this no longer is the case. The first fragment is in a section of Auchindoun taken over by the Shadow Council. Return this fragment to me.
