Which will be better with level 80 gear, the +5% intellect gnome racial or the +5% spirit human racial? About how much intellect and spirit will caster classes have in lvl 80 epics? It comes down to the bonus to replenishment vs the bonus to passive mana regen/lifetap...

The Human Spirit got changed to only 3% spirit increase while Expansive Mind is still 5% intellect, so is almost certainly better.

I remember reading the earlier posts of this thread and there is some mention of an Outland raid instance in WOTLK. There seems to be no news this time round. Such an instance will be pretty good for players to revisits old zones such as CoT is for Kalimdor.
Also, is TBC a pre-requisite for WOTLK? Is it possible to just buy Wotlk and classic?

Why are there Brown and Black Polar Bears?

You won't really be able to level to 68 without going through Outland, so it's rather unlikely. I'm not sure that there's been an official announcement either way yet.

Yes, you do need TBC to be able to play WotLK according to the information Blizzard has released to the shops that take pre-orders, so no Classic+WotLK is possible.

Has anyone seen anything more recent about the "two talent swap" feature than:
"We most surely are working on some plans to allow players to switch between specs, but the details are sill being discussed internally.
Just wanted to add that it is most likely that we will see this added to the game in a patch after the release of WotLK :-) "
source: WotLK Beta (EU-English) Forums -> Blue-2 talent specs?
Personally would love this feature and hope it makes live and the don't cock it up and make it some annoying gold sink.

You are way behind the times. This was recently discussed in great detail by Ghostcrawler. It's coming in a big patch. It's not going to be a gold sink. It's going to be more flexible than what we asked for here.

Has there been any change so far in the cost of level 80 PvP items on the Beta?
Since Honor points and marks aren't being wiped, the assumption here was that inflation would serve as the reset. That is, triple (as an example) the honor cost of everything and also triple the honor gains of level 80 kills. That way, you still effectively reset the system by making even those who banked 75k honor only able to buy one or two pieces.
I'm asking now to see if that really did push through, and how they went about it if it did.

Looks that way. Some images I found on another forum:
Savage Gladiator pieces costing 50k and 60k honor each:
Accessories costing 31.6k to 49.6k each:
Daily Call To Arms quest awarding 1241 honor (roughly 4x level 70 live value):

Hi all. Question for those who tested Wotlk Beta raids ...
In 3.0.2 everyone can see how easy is for tanks to keep agro on mobs, especially on bosses. For some tanks, threat generation (or competition sometimes) was the fun side of tanking. Now it's gone.
My concern is if in wotlk is happening the same, dps not worried about agro and so, not using their threat reduction abilities or instead the difference between "tank threat" and "dps threat" is getting smaller.
I've read some posts from people raiding Nax25 in wotlk beta. Their comments are that tanks are not having any problems keeping agro on bosses and is quite similar to the situation we have now in 3.0.2.
I would like to know if post Nax is there any change about this.
I would really like to know the experience from any beta player.
Regards

Threat is pretty much a nonissue unless both DPS and the tank are being idiots. That's with the entry level gear, of course - no one's tested any T8 onward gear, but the maths suggests that tank threat will continue to be a non-issue if people know how to play. Firstly, tank threat scales much better with gear now. Secondly, people held aggro fine on early Patchwerk parses with broken DPS specs pulling way more than they should.

You should remember that for most classes threat reduction abilities meant turning off autoattack or stopping casts/wanding for a while. That is a retarded system.
If everyone had a "feint" they could use as a filler it would be a nice addition, but it would also fuck up rotations (which well, would also reduce your threat/dps). I like the mechanic, its just too weak or poorly implemented to be of use.

It can be implemented in a good way though apparently, some minor experimentation with Wind Shock and a slightly undergeared tank reduced my aggro by enough to keep on nuking normally otherwise. Then again, enhancement shamans are probably an exception since shocks are a part of the normal dps rotation.

I've asked around and looked for this but couldn't find it. Has there been any indication as to how the tier gear tokens will be? With the addition of Death Knights, that makes 10 classes and one tier group getting screwed with four in their group if it stay the same. If it drops to 2 classes per token that seems to fall into potential RNG problems (hell we've only seen 2 Rogue/Mage/Druid tokens the last 2 weeks and a plethora of the Hunter/Shammy/Warriors as it is now). Making it 5 each would seem like too many per classes on one token.

Death Knights are added to the Vanquisher (Rogue/Mage/Druid) token.

It's still 3 tokens, Death Knights were added to the Vanquisher tokens, presumably based on how many sets come from each token. With Death Knights added it puts Conqueror and Protector tokens at 6 sets, with Vanquisher tokens having 7 sets coming from them, in comparison to Vanquisher tokens having 5 potential sets coming from them now.
Whether that's a fair way of arranging things is of course another matter, but there's a certain logic behind it at least.

It makes more sense to arrange by number of classes in the raid rather then set amounts. Druids have 3 sets, but druids aren't going to represent 3/7 of the people in the raid who can use Vanquisher.
Vanq is going to have the largest number of people who need it: DK's will be huge, mages and rogues are already pretty big. And druids of course want all three sets...

Will that carry on to tier 7? Rogue/Mage/Druid hasn't always been the pairing.
To Lgs: whichever grouping gets DKs will get screwed because I would assume that Blizz would keep the hybrid specs split up as much as they can because each of those potentially wants 3 different types of tokens.

There's really no reason for all 3 sets to have 33% drop rate. If the set they add DK to becomes rare in comparison, they can always bump it to 40% and have the other 2 at 30%.

Currently on the beta the groupings for T7 are:
Lost Vanquisher: Rogue, Deathknight, Mage, Druid
Lost Conqueror: Paladin, Priest, Warlock
Lost Protector: Warrior, Hunter, Shaman
They could be just placeholders, but I doubt it. I wish they'd make them 2 tokens of 5 classes instead. That would be very easy to balance, and would greatly reduce the amount of wasted loot. That way it would also be easier to divide the healing and tanking classes equally between the tokens. You could make the tokens [Warrior, Druid, Priest, Rogue, Warlock] and [Deathknight, Paladin, Mage, Shaman, Hunter] for example with 2 tanks and 2 healers in each token.
