This one's kind of brief, because really, all my links do a fine job of explaining themselves. Also I'm tired so my commentary will be brief. Maybe I'll fix it up in the morning! (Unlikely)
2.3 Info
This is way too huge to talk about in this news update thread, so I'll just post a link to it. There's lots of interesting changes for both PvP and PvE but I'm not really that fit to talk about them in much detail anymore due to my retirement.
I will mention, though, that Hunters get one sweet PvP weapon. There's also the Hunter purge-shot buff, which is nice. Also, Serpent Sting and Traps scaling with RAP is something that should have been in 2.0. Finally, it took them almost three years to realize, hey, maybe Trueshot Aura should be an actual aura and not cost 600 mana to cast and only last 30 minutes. Just maybe.
Check out the giant Shaman changes. They nerfed Balanced Overload so that it procs more often but does less damage and they similarly nerfed Lightning Mastery after almost 3 years of ridiculousness. They're also really pushing this "Melee and Caster DPS" role which sounds like it'd be really dumb but since you're getting spell damage for free, I guess Enhancement Shamans (a DPS role possibly more boring than spamming Fireball and keeping Scorch up) will be happy for that. Shamanistic Rage becomes 30 seconds of mini-Shield Wall. Mini
purgable Shield Wall.
Also, Fear Ward for everybody! And Elune's Grace isn't a joke anymore! ...Still purgable though. Ret Paladins get to run as fast as Rogues now (oh god Ret Paladins are going to chase people down) and they can push Crusader Strike almost twice as fast. They'll still be the laughing stock of the game, though.
Finally, look at Blizzard realizing that healers enjoy healing in Arena. It only took half a year or so to come to that conclusion.
2.2.2 On The Way
Brewfest requires the 2.2.2 patch, and it starts on October 3rd, therefore, 2.2.2 is incoming. Sounds fairly intuitive, doesn't it?
Also, you can get a really nifty hat... if you can wear Plate. If so, congratulations on one of the 2 classes that can wear it!
Illidan Stormrage Goes Bizzerk.
I have no idea what "25 minutes" means in the context of the Illidan fight but it sounds like a long ass time to be pounding away at your Fireball key.
Well, That's One Way To Sell An Account...
I'm not sure if this guy really thought he was being clever or he was just doing it all tongue in cheek. I can't find the original thread that had the most responses on Google Cache so this link will have to do.
Team Fortress 2 is still a Great Game
You still haven't pre-ordered the Orange Box yet?
Last Week Was End of Epic Anime Week
It's okay, Heroes will keep me going.
By the way, the last episode of Claymore and the ones leading up to it? Absolutely terrible, but it's still a good series up to that point. Better than anything Ming could recommend you, anyhow.

I think this is fairly self-explanatory. Punching your way to 70 with nothing but your bare fists and feet.
