I will often press my push-to-talk key when on the phone...
Someone comes to my room and asks something... Response = middle mouse click + answer.
That push to talk is something I don't even notice anymore.
Called friend for beer or two and asked where he is. Answer:"I'm on Bus station, the bus should spawn in few minutes"
Waited same friend in nearby bar, thinking about something and totally ignored everything. Waitress comes by and asks me 2-3 times what I want, me still somewhere else.
And then she said:"Don't go AFK on me, I have people to serve".
I went into dumb mode and just asked: " AFK, wtf?"
It happens that she plays wow...
1) Say lol IRL a few times to my friend, she ribbed me about it for ages
2) Actually looking at a rat IRL and thinking how much I could melee crit it for if I took my axe and hacked it >.<, caught myself just in time
3) Being late for work and got a call from my mate who's a lock and I asked him to summon me plx, I still haven't heard the end of that
4) Thinking I'd have enough gold to pay for that cool ring and realised i may have enough gold but not enough pounds...sigh

The last ingredient is usually hardest to come by."
Totally unrelated to WoW, but when hearing an older song, I am able to tell the game which I was playing during the time I repeatedly was listening to that song (because I just bought the CD, or later "found" it on the net).
I very much try to avoid saying things like lol, rofl, etc. when speaking, even in Teamspeak. AFK and WTF are exceptions, WTF from time to time also slips into my vocabulary.
One expression I have embraced though, which is a heartly 'FU!'.
Last night I had a WoW dream (nothing new there) in which I was playing my alt hunter in a 5-man. I remember manually weaving shots, controlling my pet, all that stuff.
The somewhat disturbing part is that when I woke up, my first thought was feeling bad for ditching the group...
Why, because the world will be populated solely by party poopers?

Personally, I've wished I could teleport and hearth home. And the PTT key thing, that's happened to me a lot. The whole "UI" thing before my eyes has never happened to me, and if it really has to some people, I would encourage them get help.
Hehe just had an example of when WoW and Reality meet a few min ago. My boss was being an asshole and didn't want todo anything so I walk up to him and say: "Stop QQing you damn idiot and get to work." Ironically the only thing he asked was what QQ meant. So I got away with that.
Next one has happened a little bit over a year ago. This was when I was still playing Alliance.
I decided to take off the weekend of work because I was very close to getting my "Famous" Wintersaber. I was going to be the server first non-Night Elf who would get it. Back then I used to play with nameplates. Anyway it didn't go like planned I was ninjaed for the Friday evening raid. Ofcourse ZG is a total mess with nameplates on. So it ended up as a fridaynight/saturdaymorning farming session. Same thing the saturdayafternoon and evening. ZG resetted over night and well so we went to ZG again but since we were so fast we decided todo AQ20 too. Again it became a long night. Sunday same story, AQ40 and well bugs and nameplates don't go well. Since I didn't slept that much that weekend so I decided to call it an early night also because of school the next day.
I woke up the next morning and well was home alone which isn't that rare. However when I went to school I suddenly had a really weird look on my face when I saw nameplates above everyone. More like vague green and red strips above them, but then I realised I had to take a break for a while.
But being able to logout with your Wintersaber after a succesful raid in the middle of Ironforge with everyone whispering you made up for it.
Back a year or so, when i was taking driving lessons for my license, there was a dead dog in the parking lot where i used to meet my instructor. I thought nothing of it at first, but 2 hours later, when i was finished for the day, i park the car in the same parking lot and the instructor debriefs me on my progress. But then i see another dog standing next to the corpse and before i can stop myself, i say a "Fucking respawns!" out loud... Lucky for me that was one of my last lessons before the final examination... but i still have no idea what the poor guy must have thought..

this was just a few days ago... last day of the semester, i was at this show/event/thing that the university put up, real cheap beers so i was pretty hammered... i needed to get outside to piss, couldn't find the exit (tried unsuccessfully a few times to leave through the entry, they didn't let me)
when i finally found the exit (it wasn't too obvious) i mumbled drunkenly to the bouncer "is this where you zone out?" he immediately went "...what?" and i quickly corrected myself

This.
Blind Guardian is the soundtrack to Heroic Mechanar. Disturbed is Oblivion (Elder Scrolls) and the list goes on.

I do this with books too, it's really freaky sometimes. A song comes on and all this stuff from a book I haven't read in years comes to mind.
When I am watching a movie on the computer (Or even on TV) I try to "turn the camera" so I can see something off to the side better.
I do this with WoW movies and screenshots all the time. I know I can't change the PoV. I know it. But deep inside, there's this little nagging thought that says "It looks like your UI, surely you can move it! Go on, try to look left or right, I dare you."
I have a few things that often cause the real world and WoW to collide:
1. Every time I'm at a computer, I feel the urge to go through my casting cycle when I look down near the taskbar. (I also have tried to move the "camera PoV" for no reason when looking at websites or movies, etc.)
2. The other night whilst doing laundry, I looked at all the junk in my closet that's been piling up and thought "Man, wish I could vendor all my RL grays."
3. I want to Psychic Scream a crowded break-room in my office.
4. I look for mining nodes on the way to work.
5. Often wish I had a hearthstone instead of a car to drive back home from work.
6. Like many others, I'll hit r or type /p or /g in IM, MSN, etc. And I have pressed "Push-to-Talk" for a couple of phone calls.
7. My girlfriend is psychic, she knows when I'm at an important part in a raid where I need to focus and calls me at that exact moment in time to talk for 20 minutes (and if I died I'd say, "Aw damn it!" She'll ask what's wrong and I try to tie into whatever her story was). I swear she's called me while I was trying to get through the Shartuul event about 3 times now, so I try to preemptively call her before I do that or a raid.
There have been other cases, but these seem to affect me the most!
When asked what clubs I am in by people at school, I typically respond AV club. They start laughing and once I got all frazzled and said: NOT AUDIO VISUAL, ALTERAC VALLEY NUB.
While sleeping and waking my wife a conversation I had
me -"HEAL Chip!!!" (our mt)
wife - "um baby your not playing"
me- "baby just heal chip!!!"
wife- "ok baby I healed him go back to sleep"
me- "NO!!!! he's taking too much damage heal him!!!"
wife- "......"
I was playing wow on my laptop in the living room a few weeks back when my younger brother and about 10 of his friends came screaming through the back door. I obviously jumped out of my skin but not before activating feign death and shouting "Tanks pick them up!" (casual kara run) in vent.
It took me a few mins to explain myself to the tanks who had both started running towards the imps before illhoofs room when i said that.
I respec to raid a lot (1210+dmg shadow, 1700+heal holy), some mornings I wake up after a long night of raiding and think "shit...do they need me to show up holy or dps?..."..
takes until i make it to the morning ritual before i reallize why I can't figure out what class my boss is...and yeah...the work day begins.
