Some sort of chat channel/guild would be handy for organizing runs.

My guild has started the transfer over: currently have 7 over, with another 5-6 on their way as soon as the queuing system goes through. We're on (A) PvP.

We're starting a guild "Beep Beep Imma Jeep", and would welcome the chance to run with other people from the forums here.

Hopefully this isn't "we have X, looking for Y" -- I'm genuinely interested in testing this content, but I doubt we'll have the full 10 each night.

Edit: contact Vitaly if you're interested in running; I'm still waiting on my transfer.

The Eagle boss is pretty straight forward. Approx every 50sec-1min he will cast the Electrical Storm on a player. There's an emote "an electrical storm starts to form" or something similar. This player is raised up in the air and a cloud appears above them (like a Druid Hurricane). Everyone must run to the player and group up. You take 0 damage when grouped. The boss channels the entire time 15-20 seconds I *think*. When over just go back to a standard tank and spank. Our group's casters dotted the birds and they seemed to die fast other than that all DPS was on the boss.

I hope that's coherent, it's late...

Also many thanks to the Pro Baddies folks who invited me, they are the ones who figured it out.

Edit: Oh and this boss seemed to have VERY high Shadow resist.

Thanks for the info on the eagle boss. Our group earlier today had killed the bear, the dragonhawk, and the lynx boss, but couldn't figure out the gimmick behind the eagle boss before people had to go.

Shaman also Healing Waves and maybe Chain Heals. Mage also Frost Novas. Druid puts massive HoTs on him.

The Fire Nova is VERY nasty. I recommend you have some people with instant cast damage (shocks, moonfire) with macros like:

/tar hex
/tar fire
/stopcasting
/cast damagingspell(rank #)

Our group did not kill him... It may have been a matter of insufficient DPS as we had subbed in a Kara/Heroic geared alt and had a feral druid stay in casterform to cast Sleep on the dragon. Hard to say though.

Figured out after awhile it was worth killing the dragon instead of having myself sit in healing gear being useless ~ extra DPS def. helped after quickly downing the dragon

(some post said you can also sheep the dragon, which is incorrect)

Cleared it tonight with a raid comprised mostly of the guild <Exodus> (I believe). Didn't notice a post on Zul'jin himself yet so here's my observation from the limited perspective of a shadow priest:

He started off doing just basic melee and would break into a whirlwind every now and then, simply have melee back out to avoid damage. At various health intervals he will take on the guises of the gods you previously killed. The bear form seems to have a stun/silence instead of a mangle. The eagle form puts a debuff on you that apparently returns damage whenever you cast offensive spells on him. There are also whirlwinds that litter the platform knocking you back and dealing damage. I can't tell if more whirlwinds appeared as time went on but it seemed like it. You just have to do damage to push him out of this stage and keep people topped off. Not quite sure what happened with the lynx form. He does have a charge so we all stacked up near him and I think there was some debuff he puts on people or randomly focuses and attacks someone in the raid and you just have to keep that person alive. Firehawk form puts a stacking flame debuff on you and he has an AoE fire attack (there's also a column of fire that rains down from the sky every so often). It's a DPS race at this point -- you have to kill him before the debuff gets too high.

Sorry for the lack of details, we pretty much just brute forced it.

Ill preface this by saying that its late and im tired so if I forget some crucial detail please feel free to correct.

Zul'Jin is a 5 phase fight, he starts off in troll form with ~8 small (6k hp) adds that you can aoe or just kill quickly. He whirlwinded for ~4k on our dps warrior, but other then that had no other significant abilities.

At 80%, he goes to bear form, clears aggro, and hits semi-hard. The big thing here is he pulses a debuff called Paralysis every so often. Dispellable by priest/pally, 5 second duration, and stuns you for 5 seconds if not dispelled. All you have to do is cleanse your tank (so he can mitigate damage) and key healers, otherwise just tank/spank.

At 60%, he clears aggro and goes to eagle form. During this phase he physically does nothing but stands there and looks pretty as whirlwinds fly around the room. As far as I could tell the whirlwinds themselves did nothing, but every spellcast anyone does immediately shocks you for ~1200. Basically, its kinda like Aura of Desire. I am unsure how it affects melee or healers.

At 40%,he goes to Lynx form, clearing aggro yet again (notice a pattern?). Occasionally he turns around and sticks to one person, doing moderate damage and requiring some heals. He returns to the tank ala Fel Rage after beating on someone for like 10 seconds.

At 20%, he goes to dragonhawk form with (you guessed it!) a fresh aggro table. He occasionally casts a raid wide debuff increasing fire damage taken by 75%, stacking, not cleansable. The only other thing I saw was a pillar of fire thing that spawns on a person and stays there kind of like a void zone. Basically its a mini-enrage timer. Eventually one will spawn on you and regardless of whether of not you move, youll get oneshotted by the beam. Heroism ftw.

Pretty easy tbh, I think Dragonhawk god is easily the hardest boss in the instance.

Every phase change he does do a threat wipe, when he turns into an Eagle you do not need to worry about a threat list though as explained below. He changes phases every 20%.

Phase 1:
Watch out for his whirlwind (melee range). He also casts a debuff similar to the one in Slave Pens that does a dd and then ticks until the player is topped off. Seems like it was only around 2500-3000 damage, so if you are good at assist healing you can downrank accordingly to top them off just enough so they do not take any ticks.

Phase 2:
As soon as he starts this phase you will notice everyone gets a Paralysis debuff. Dispell it off the main tank and yourself, then other healers if time (or the tank doesn't need a heal). DPS etc do not need it dispelled. After 5 seconds of having the debuff, you will become stunned and take a little damage, assign someone to top people off before the next. He can hit decently hard, so keep the tank topped.

Phase 3:
Stay away from the tornados that spawn and move around the room. They knock you back and deal around 1k damage. If you are a caster (yes healers included) everytime you cast you will get hit for about 1250 damage. The key thing to do in this phase is not get cornered by tornados and stay alive. Heal over time spells really make this phase much easier. Melee need to try and burn him down as quick as they can as they get no punishment for doing damage.

Phase 4:
Lynx form he melees fairly weak all around. He also will fixate upon a random player in the raid and melee them. Intervene near the end of the 10 second or so phase to help out squishy people. Also does a weak version of the whirlwind Leotheras / end boss of Shattered Halls. I think it also places a debuff on people that will make them take more damage, it's either this or the fixate. Watch debuffs and note that that person will need extra heals.

Phase 5:
As stated above, you will get a buffet like debuff put on you every so often. He will choose random people throughout the raid and place a beam of fire on them. If they are not topped they will probably die due to the debuff. It's a simple phase if people are good at staying out of void zones.

++
Zul'jin is much better designed than Hakkar was. Five phases make it a pretty epic fight.

Confidence is not Arrogance.

One thing to note the Hex Lord's minions change. I was able to copy my character over twice. First time Was Blood elf(healer) Dragonkin(Flame Breath, Thunderclap) Undead Dude(melee and an instant) Imp(firebolt spam) much to my suprise the second time the first two were replaced with an Ogre(melee and enrage?) and a Serpent(Poison Spit).
