2.3 Changes 10/19
I think the 80mb patch warrants a new thread; the others are getting kinda crowded and tangential.
- Aimed Shot is apparently supposed to apply an MS debuff, but it's not working atm.
- Shadowstep is now 30s cooldown, increases the damage of your next ability (any ability) by 20%, and reduces its threat by 50%
- Hemorrhage now grants 36 extra damage
- Taking an action that you ordinarily couldn't take because you were in a form now removes the form and performs the action (ex: you can cast Desperate Prayer in Shadowform, but it shifts you out).
- More generally, there's no global cooldown on exiting any forms
- Enchants are now white text again
- Lots of S3 weapons got graphics revamps
- There are a number of "no-fly" zones in Outlands where you can't fly; presumably a bug
- Male humans are missing their left ankles in an apparent tribute to german hip-hop
- 2.3 release date tentatively confirmed via a screenshot of my mailbox:

Is that everything? Expected afew more class tweaks, or fixes to the ones that bugged out. Well Male human paladins missing their left leg made me smile so it wasnt that bad

All Hunters ranged attacks now have a minimum of 4 yards, down from 8. It seems melee range has been reduced to compensate.

Changing the melee range will be truly awkward for all meleers. Hopefully it just applies to hunters. Didnt you get patchnotes in the downloader btw?

Patchnotes in the downloader seemed to be unchanged (I didn't run a diff, though). What I posted is just a compilation of everything I know of so far.
The no-fly zone thing seems to be very common, by the way. I recommend using flight paths to get around Outland on test, unless you have a way to survive a sudden fall off of your mount.

Just take the plummet o'death for the team. It's actually better if people fall to their death and submit a ticket at the exact spot so they can fix it before it goes to live.

Both the spelldamage and healing season 3 maces now have the model of Crystal Spire of Karabor, colored black.
There is still no spell penetration offhand on the arena vendor.
The bonus on the shadow priest season 3 gloves is now "reduces the cooldown of your Psychic Scream spell by 3 seconds."

What's the duration?
Also, a fun new one: Switching into any stance (or entering stealth) makes the bottom left actionbar disappear until you relog.

Guild banks are in. They are accessed through a crest on the wall. In Scryer Bank they are behind the Arcane Golems. Extra tabs cost 1, 10, 100, 1000, 5000, and 10000 in that order. Settings take a minute to update, seems a bit clunky. You can see items being moved in near real time. You can set permissions so that people can take X stacks (slots) from a tab per day. Having trouble getting the Withdraw Gold permissions to function correctly.

Yepp, no patch on EU PTR yet.
About the non-flying zones in Outland:
Somewhen in beta, there was a bug where you could only start your flying mount in named subzones. I.e. if you were in Terokkar Forest and your minimap showed Terokkar Forest, you couldn't start flying. But if your minimap read a named subzone like Cenarion Thicket, Firewing Point, Auchinduon, Bonechewer Hold or whatever, you could start flying.
You could however start flying in a named subzone, and then fly through main zones without getting dismounted.
Not sure if it's the same thing, but it sounds familar and got fixed rather soon in beta.
Edit: Patch just arrived in EU, saturday morning 7 a.m.

The Auction House is completely broken.
There is a huge bug related to global cooldowns. If you start casting a new spell while you're already casting a spell, another global cooldown is immediately activated, locking you out for one global cooldown. If that sounds weird, log onto test, start casting a 3s cast spell, and attempt to cast it again when it has almost finished. The bug will be immediately obvious.

Yes, Kalgan said some changes would be made to Aimed Shot if a Mortal Strike effect were added. Considering the debuff doesn't even have a tooltip at the moment, I'd guess there are more changes in store that will be implemented next push.
By the way, could any melee classes confirm if max melee range is still 5 yards for them? It's definitely been lowered for hunters (seems to be around 3 now), but I don't know if it's a global change or just a hunter change.

I noticed that I couldn't hit a kiting paladin, but I assumed it was just lag. My latency was only 110. :l
I sure hope they didn't change it.

Steath change: rogue Combat talent Aggression now applies its 2/4/6% bonus to Backstab. This is in addition to the previous effects of 2/4/6% increased damage on Sinister Strike and Eviscerate.
