Alrighty, I just tried to see if I could stealth into Black Temple to solo the Temple Concubines for some drops on my druid, but I couldn't get past the gate leading into Supremus' courtyard. I take it you have to kill Naj, Shade, and Supremus in order to get to the concubines? Or is there some other way to stealth through to get there?

You need to kill Naj'entus and Supremus to get into the area with Shade of Akama, Gorefiend, Bloodboil and Reliquary of Souls. And you need to kill those four to get to the area with the concubines.

I was fortunate enough last night to pick up the ability to smelt hardened khorium. There are not many guilds on my server that will be jumping right into sunwell, so I suspect I may currently be the only person on my server who can create it at the moment (certainly one of a very small number at least). Of course as far as I know no one can actually make anything with it at present as well....
I am wondering if it may be a good idea to go ahead and create some anyway and start putting it up on the AH to try to establish a favorable price for this new commodity, get it into peoples auctioneers and such? Is this likely to have any impact on the actual price that develops when it does come into demand, and if so how high do you think I could go?
Start at about 300% of the base mats cost. If other people are producing any, they'll (usually) just undercut you by a small amount. Once you have a few people selling at that price point, buyers will just accept it as a cost of getting their patterns made.
Primal Nethers and vortex's are nuts on my server... 750-800g / Vortex and 150-200g / Nether. The kicker is that they are selling...
I'm guessing the prices will come down after the initial 'must have' frenzy is complete.
Prices that high would lead one to beelive there is something going on in the background...
Anyway, If I were you I would buy up any vortexes you can with badges, snatch some primals off the AH as cheap has you can get them. Then take all that to one of the top raiding guilds and have it crafted into an epic boe peice of armor, smack it on the ah for what ever you think is appropriate, be sure to encorporate 400-500g for the vortexes though.
I'd say to put them at least 5-10 times the price you want them to sell once they will.
Then when you'll lower your prices to 3 times, people will think they make a good deal. But that's just my opinion =)
The smelting book for Hardened Khorium drops a lot, we had it 4 times last night, and there are posts on our realm forum from smiths in other guilds trying to sell smelting service. Given the patterns that need it are from SW25 as well, I expect everyone who needs it will be able to get it easily within their raid group. By the time the patterns are being sold to non-raiders you'll be competing with every single raid miner on your server. I'm expecting to make about the same money from this as I made from Smelt Elementium....
The effect of Shattered Sun Supplies on the price of Arcane Dust
Is anyone else starting to realize that all these random greens from Shattered Sun Supply Bags might have an adverse effect on the price of Arcane Dust (& Greater Planar Essence).. I'm slowly starting to accumulate a larger supply than I usually hold on to, and I'm not convinced I can liquidate it at a good price anymore even though the AH prices don't reflect any great change in price.
i banked a bunch of enchanting mats for 2.4, since the major gear influx hasn't hit yet prices are still low. When the badge vendors are unlocked theres gonna be a lot of new gear flooding the market, enchanting related supplies are gonna go way up.
I banked a few different items for 2.4 and the later badge gear availability. I made over 5k in the 2 days or so after 2.4 (bought my 2nd epic flying- tyvm to all who contributed to this thread), but I still have some stacks of LPS that I plan on unloading after the QD badge vendor becomes available. Everyone who gets the shiny new "BT level" epics is going to need enchants for the items...
I'd also expect another big push once season 4 hits... I know I'm waiting on 2xMongoose for my BG alt for when I can buy the season 2 weapons with honor. (But I already have those mats)
Here's a thought... would the VC -> 2 LPS drive VC prices up for high level enchants? I'm guessing yes...
VC prices have already gone up as they are now worth 2 LPS. From 25g a pop its gone upto 35g on my server.
well they're not quite worth 2xLPS, because of the 23 hour cooldown exclusive to enchanters. On my realm VC went up from ~10 to ~20 (still up to 5g less than 1xLPS) when the PTR notes documented the addition, and haven't shifted too much since then. I hope the market stays about there, but I guess with more enchanters getting the conversion it might shift a little bit further, perhaps to a stable 1:1.
In any case, that still means a profit of 20g/day to any enchanter. More than I make from my 40g/4day with tailoring.
The prices for Primal Nethers and Nether Vortexes are quite odd on Bael'gun.
On the day of the patch, primal nethers were selling up to 150-200g each on the AH and vortexes were 300/500g. This troubled me as I wanted to buy 8 primals and 5 vortexes to upgrade from Thunder to SH.
I spammed trade chat, nonetheless, for Primal Nethers for 80g and Vortexes for 175g. I was FLOODED with responses. I think I overpaid. But today I looked at the AH, and the prices are still inflated as before. Then I also saw someone selling primal nethers for 45g in trade chat (with the price in the AH at 150g). odd huh?
I picked up quite a few Primal Nethers the first day for around 30g thinking it was a steal, yesterday there were quite a few still up for around 35g on Bonechewer. I think once the initial push of banked nethers goes away the price will go back up. It's a bit of a dicey bet though if you don't have a decent sized warchest. We haven't even seen badge primals yet.

And it's not just the cooldown, you also need the 375 rod, which you're pretty unlikely to have bothered making if you gave an alt enchanting mostly to de stuff.
On my server, the prices of nethers/vortexes is exceptionally inconsistent and fluctuating rapidly, but I haven't seen anything higher than 200g per vortex so far, unlike some of the insanely high prices other people are reporting.
Personally, I'm holding on to my 200ish badges until we unlock the epic gem vendor, since a lot of people have been dumb and blown their badge stashes on nether/vortexes to meet the initial demand, and I'm expecting to make a solid profit selling the gems.
The addition of Badges to raid bosses as well as increased cash drops has turned "Farm" raiding content into a solid cash boost. 5-6 bosses in a 3 hour raid means that I get 60ish gold, 10 Badges *and* the chance at upgrades. A Black temple raid plus an hour of daily questing got me about 300 gold in pocket, discounting motes/greens/gray items, whereas before I'd often have to do daily quests to break even.
If you've got Herbalism, the Fel Lotus market is still very strong even with the increased drop rate, and you can get a good return on time invested by doing the Netherwing Daily gather quests and picking all the dreaming glory/mana thistle you see, which should get you enough nether residue to finish that daily as well.
The drastic increase of Ravagers in the mines makes the kill/gather duo of Mine quests much faster, and my guild miners are reporting that the Nethercite veins are dropping blue gems like candy.
If you're the type that enjoys farming, the Elemental Plateau is near-empty these days, and there's still no good easy source for Primal Air except for Engineers, so I'd expect to see the market price on Primal Air rising with increased demand for enchants, etc. If I had the time to spare, I'd invest my capital into cornering the Primal Air market on my server and pushing prices up a good 10-15g per.
Concerning Fel Lotus, I am still trying to figure out what the market is going to do. It seems there are more Fel Lotuses hitting the market, but with everyone who raids having access to a new to them 25 man instance, demand should also increase. The only thing that has me a little worried is that when we were in Black Temple last night, it seemed like the drop rate for Marks of the Illidari were way up, which would help to lower the price.
In a nutshell, I have a feeling that the prices for Fel Lotus are going to remain relatively stable, with very little movement one way or another concerning prices.
1. Sometimes while browsing with auctioneer, the window will just apparently reset in the middle of whatever I was doing to what always looks like a page of trade materials. Is there a way to stop this?
2. Is there a way to manually set bottomscanner to try to buy netherweave cloth @ lower than 15s per?

1. That's Bottomscanner doing that. Turn it off if you're trying to browse for yourself, and then turn it back on when you're done (unless someone has a more elegant solution).
2. /btm snatch [Netherweave Cloth] 1500
The item has to be a link, not text, and I'm pretty sure the figure can either be 1500 (as in 1500 copper) or 15s, but I'm not online to check.
