I don't know if someone pointed this out already, but hunter traps have been stealth nerfed. If you drop a trap while one is active, the first trap disappears. Goodbye chain trapping. I didn't check out snake traps yet, but it holds true for frost and freeze traps.

Edit: Can someone else also confirm this? Hoping against hope that its some crazy bug that happened before the servers went offline.

I was getting the same behavior with Prayer of Mending (as the only holy priest in the raid.)

GG Shamans. 48 hour and longer suspensions along with confiscation of illigit T6 and void crystals and gold have all been reported. I guess Blizzard was real annoyed at people farming the T6 vendor for void crystals + free loot.

I'm assuming that using the Shift-click on your spellbook would enter the correct name of the spell in the macro which minimizes to some extent the need to worry too much about what they get renamed to.

There is no reasonable case that anybody shouldn't have realized that getting the entire set and DE'ing it multiple times wouldn't be considered an exploit, hence likely to get you in trouble. Infinite loot cycles (aka dupeing) are the first thing MMO developers come down on. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Some evidence to back up that Bliz is really doing that would be useful though.

Taron trash was having weird issues for us last night. On the second pull (two orcs who start out riding dogs then dismount) we killed an orc and dog, then the other dog despawned and we killed the last orc. A minute later one orc riding a dog came down the stairs. We tried to kill the dog but he despawned at about 80% killed the orc and again a minute later he was walking down the stairs.
After a botched attempt to just run up the stairs and kill the pack past him we gave up and went to bloodboil. The odd thing was the three packs at the top of the stairs that we aggroed also seemed to despawn. When I went back to check for loot they were slowly respawning.

This may be related - I noticed inability to overwrite old rips with new double-trinketed rips which would have definitely ticked for higher. "A more powerful spell is already active" was the message I got, too.

In heroic mech, only the player with the key to the 'chest' got a heroic badge. This might be caused by the remaining items being awarded by rolls before the keyholder loots the badge making it seem 'empty'. Might work correctly if everyone passes on the blue/etc. items then loots their badges before looting the remnants however I have only one experience with it so far and the 'chest' became unlootable after the keyholder looted his badge.

I just did some digging and couldn't find anything in relation to this, even the blue post saying that they know about the exploit and not to do it is gone. I guess blizz does not enjoy any reference to major mistakes.

Whoah, just for having the gear? Or for trying to vendor it?

This is what I suspect, and what was what happened with the chest in Heroic Ramparts. I'd recommend everyone pass on the rolls, get your badges, then loot the regular item.

More importantly: Anyone have any issues with the Chess chest in Karazhan?

Same thing with one of our shamans, he just got a warning on his account. He didn't repeatedly buy and DE it though.

Mystical Skyfire Diamond: In 2.2 the duration of the focus buff was increased to 10 seconds.
When they added the internal cooldown to the gem in 2.3 they decreased the buff duration to 5 second. This is not documented and there was a blue post about it being a bug. But it's only 5 seconds at live servers now, making it even more useless for am spam

Okay. I hardly consider the 48-hour suspension for exploiting nearly 1k gold noteworthy.

This makes a lot more sense for someone who just bought some stuff and didn't try to use it for the ever-popular shenanigans.

I mentioned this in the PvP forum, but I seem to have been awarded the ~400 bonus honor from the BG daily twice. I ran one AB, got 160 for winning, turned in my quest and had an estimate of ~600 for the day. Without doing any more PvP, I checked an hour or so later and had ~1000 honor for the day. Anyone else experience this?

Edit: I just went home for lunch and checked, and my total honor for yesterday is listed as ~600. It seems the ~1000 from yesterday was simply a display issue.

Not sure if it should be posted here, but yeah Season 3 delayed for a week.

Perhaps just missed it but a smoke like trail comming from my Netherdrake when moving.

This happened to us, and also, when we went to clear Kara for badges post-BT last night, Netherspite nuked us while we were setting up for Prince ... 20 minutes later. No idea why. No-one took damage, just random Netherbreaths flying everywhere.

As far as the issues with badges: *every* chest that drops badges is broken. They didn't tag the badges as being loot, so as soon as the "real" loot is taken from the chest (i.e. the /greed roll completes and someone gets the items), the chest despawns, regardless of whether or not you've taken your badge(s) yet.

This has been confirmed for Chess (in Kara; 3/10 people looted before it despawned), Ramparts (guildies ran it yesterday), and Mech (gatekeeper keys). Just run on FFA and take all badges before distributing loot until Blizzard fixes this clear oversight.

Romulo & Julianne has been confirmed by a GM to be bugged, and are not dropping badges at all. This is unintentional, and an Item Specialist will restore your missing 2 badges if you care enough to go through the process.

Beast boss in Karazhan does *not* drop badges, so the total number for a full clear is only 22, not 23.

2.5 hours, 70g, and 22 badges. It was a nice way to end the night. Too bad they didn't make a couple of nethers drop too (Nightbane and Prince would have been good, and firmly planted heroics in "yesterday's news").

Hunter's shot removes the WSG Flag carring buff according to a hunter I just talked to.

I'm not really surprised, as the PTR is for people to test this kind of stuff, and who seriously wants to kill the animal boss, ever?

Did this change actually make it onto the live realms? I could have sworn I still saw 2/8/24 when I put auctions up this morning. Or is that just a graphical bug and the auctions are actually 12/24/48?
