Can someone color the undocumented features? I'm having problems in finding them in the list.

They'll be in the first of the two quote boxes once they start rolling in, but since servers aren't actually *up* yet I haven't put anything in there just yet.

'War' is too small a word for what I'm fighting. Like a candle in front of the whole burning Sun. I told you. This is bigger than a war. Now, I am not going to die today. I have other projects, and other options.
You can come with me. I can protect you.

The list is the actual patch notes. The undocumented features is what you'll find by reading the rest of the thread, once the realms go up and people start discovering them.

Not Helpful.

The servers will apparently be down for an extra 2 hours from now, so it'll be a bit until anything can be determined yet.

The GCD Changes?
Last night, before I went to bed, there was still a reported issue on the PTR forums, and WoW General forums of Global Cooldown issues. The WoW forums seemed to be mobbed at the moment, so I haven't been able to get on to check a few of my posts and other responses to those threads. The documented patch notes don't really make a mention too any change, because perhaps there wasn't one? Does anyone have any more info on this?

So how many badges does each boss in Kara drop? I couldn't find this information anywhere. I'm trying to gauge how much it's worth doing for a quick 3 hour overgeared run.

It seems that will be 2 for each boss and 3 in Prince and Nightbane.

I believe it's 2 per boss and chess, then then 3 from Prince.
So Attumen, Moroes, Maiden, Opera: 8
Curator, Shade, Illhoof, Chess, Netherspite: 10
Nightbane, Prince: 5
23 total in 3 hours, or about 8 per hour. That's not shabby at all (understatement).

At least one of the early ZA bosses only gave 1 badge, so I don't expect Attumen, Moroes and Maiden to give more than 1 either.

Could any druid clarify what the new Natural Perfection is like? From what I understand the patch notes, the new proc based effect is made in addition to the -10% melee/ranged critical damage
|
Natural Perfection (Restoration) - Now also grants the Natural Perfection effect after being critically hit, reducing all damage taken by 1/3/5% for 8 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
|
But wowhead lists the new talent as only the proc based part, not the old -10% melee/ranged.

Do we have exact figures on the buff to XP gained from quests and the % reduction per level? Do level 60 quests also gain the buff? Or did they literally mean between but not including 60?

The -10% melee/ranged damage taken has been totally removed from the spell auras and there's no server-side script effect either. Safe to assume that it's gone. Note that this changes nothing at the high end; it never allowed you to go over the crit reduction cap from resilence (in other words, this change can't be considered a nerf if you are at the 25% reduction cap).

Or above 15% in terms of diminishing returns.
In any case, a few of the changes that aren't listed (from memory):
Weapon Expertise instead of crit for Humans/Orcs
Mines giving reinforcements in AV
Decursing from Tree Form
Fanaticism doesn't reduce threat while Righteous Fury is active
The coefficient change on Chain Lightning/Lightning Bolt (as not to nerf Ele Shaman DPS)
Unstable Affliction's silence on diminishing returns is dead (my Paladin cries about this)
Champion of the Naaru doesn't stack with PvP titles
|
Dogma also claims that God has a sense of humor and at times presents Him as a joker of sorts, thus again lowering Him to human level. While I am certain God has a "sense of humor" since He gave it to us, I find it most difficult to believe He finds humor in sin since He will cast the unforgiven sinner into the lake of fire for eternity. Not very funny at all.

I think Neathera posted that the change is not a flat percent, but scales across levels, so exact numbers are going to be a bit hard to parse out. I'm sure someone will post a table eventually, but the closest you're going to get for now is "30%-ish."

I'm just answering because no one else has yet... I believe it's 30% more exp per quest, and 30% less exp needed to level. Hopefully someone else can confirm this.
EDIT - or what PSGarak said.

So, what was the final form of the /stopcasting fix? I know it went through a few different forms on test; what'd they end up with?

Also not listed: New 'Personal' Rating. Acts like a team rating, except based on games you've won/lost, not games you're team has won/last. Affects what weapons and armors you can buy in S3.

If I remember correctly XP needed from 20-60 was reduced by around 15% overall and XP from quests between levels 30-60 was increased by 30%. That (and more/changed elite quests) should result in 30-50% faster leveling. Also I think level 60 quests are included in that but it is just better to go to Outland at 58 because of better quest rewards, mobs give 200% XP etc.

I'd also be interested in hearing about how this affects instant cast spells and the GCD.

I've been hearing a LOT of rumors about the minimum range for hunters to drop to either 4 yards or 1 yard... I'm assuming that would be in the patch notes as it's pretty major, so I guess it didn't happen.
Can anybody confirm or deny this rumor? I know it's a bit off topic.

Confused, did they change Azeroth quests from 30-60 to give 30% more experience or just change characters so they get more experience from quests while between 30-60? I'm asking because I have a level 54 alt and was wondering whether I'll be getting 30% more from outland quests once I go there at 58.
