Niallest, from the notes I read all (most?) motes can now go into the appropriate bag types. From MMO-Champion:
A few things interesting weren't mentioned in the patch notes, I guess the most interesting change is the removal of the Nexus transmutation cooldown and the Primal/Motes placeable in some crafting bags (if you farm them a lot)

Anyone else experiencing problems with flight paths from time to time? I find myself trying multiple times and/or logging so I can go from one point to the other. I simply click on the destination and nothing happens.

In my experience, you just left-click it once, then you can ctrl-click it all you want.

Yeah - I noticed this happening on the PTR and now on live as well, usually I just keep using /rl over and over until it works - I really don't know why it happens though.

You can fix this by reloading, either reloadui or alt+f4 and open a new client.
|
This makes no sense. Framerate issues are generally due either to issues with intense CPU usage per frame (hungry addons, collision calculations), pipeline saturation, or plain old graphical overload (fillrate or polys). We can rule out the latter because the corpses aren't being rendered (and WoW just isn't a very graphically intense game) and a reloadui doesn't affect the scene graph. The UI is completely separate from the scene graph itself. I might be convinced of it if a /console gxrestart helped it, but I don't know if it would or not. It's likely that it's the first. If I had to guess, I'd say it's something to do with LOD calculations on the Hyjal geometry.
Ground Clutter Density is, I believe, a setting for foliage and the like on the ground.
I think it's likely a combo of some addons (Bongos has been blamed for some problems in other posts) and a genuine screw-up in the scene rendering by Blizzard. The fact that my framerate could reproducibly plummet right as the camera frustum reached the opening in the gate suggests that they messed something up either in the Hyjal geometry or the renderer in general. The second is not likely since similar performance degradation is not as prevalent in other area of the world with similar view distances.

I noticed that too. I managed to get on a flight after I closed the FP window and re-opened it while moving closer to the FP master.

We encountered today a strange problem with the mage tank on the illidari council. Everything went smooth until ~33%. At this point Zerevor stopped renewing his dampen magic, which he normaly does around every minute. At the 2 minute mark, dampen magic on the mage faded, Zerevor casted another bolt (almost oneshotting the mage) and in that very moment he recasted dampen magic on himself (2 minutes after the last)
In the next try the same thing happend quite soon, but this time he recasted dampen magic almost 2 minutes and 10 seconds in the after the last one, which lead to another quick mage death.
Has anyone else experienced this or is this a known bug. I haven't found any information on this.

One of our tanks just told me that nightmare seeds seem to have moved from a 2 minute cooldown to a 3 minute cooldown (also puts your HS on a 3 minute cooldown.)
I'd test, but there aren't any on the AH right now and I don't have any.

I've noticed this queueing for BG's as well -- sometimes I have to do it 2 or more times before it finally queues me up.

Flamecaps are definitely 3 minutes, though I do not recall if that's different from 2.2

This may not be what happened to you, but we had a similar issue on one of HK Maulgar's adds, and realized it was due to hunter arcane shot dispelling the buff that's supposed to be stolen.

This was happening to us on HKM as well. I wonder if Blizzard has plans on fixing this particular aspect of hunterdom. Quite annoying to continually remind your hunters when they can and when they can't use a spell becuase it will ruin the fight.

You forgot those three changes:
Mages:
Can no longer blink before AV/EotS has begun. Not sure about the other two BGs.
Can no longer iceblock in mid-air.
Seasonal:
If you use the engineering flying mount + preserved holly, you get the Flying Reindeer buff.

I think you just need to make your hunters aware of it on those fights and to not use Arcance Shot on those mobs while the debuff you need to steal is up. It shouldn't hurt most hunters too much to forgo it, since most raiding hunters are BM and mostly spam Steady Shot with the occasional Multi.

Been searching for about 20 minutes. I read something, somewhere, that a vendor was added in Shattrath that sells the reputation ammunitions from Violet Eye and Caverns of Time, among others. Is this true? Is it false? Where is the vendor? I can't find anything on the big WoW news websites, or using the search feature on this forum.
Blah, searched some more. I must have made it up in my head after briefly skimming a bunch of related patch changes. :[

There's definitely one on Aldor rise- Facing the lift going down, its on the (previously empty) building on your left. I'm not sure if one was added to Scryer rise also.

Thanks! I'll take a look in a moment. Your post was actually helpful and the first affirmative documentation I've even seen of it being true in a good 30+ minutes of me scouring mmochamp and this site. And physically wandering around Shat
Post before yours makes me want to hurt things.
Edit: Confirming your confirmation! Marksman Bova is a timesaver!

For anyone else having problems finding this a little tip: the minimap now has a tracking function for everyone and one of these is 'Ammunition Vendor'. Makes it so much easier trying to hunt them down.

This is latency related. It's been doing it for me since I've had a flying mount of any form, which is 2 weeks after TBC was released.

I came across another graphics issue yesterday while flying around in Hellfire. Sometimes the mountain range that was at the edge of the draw distance would appear bright yellow (and I mean it-hurts-my-eyes-fluorescent-yellow). My framerate would drop from a capped 60 to 3-4.

Although most of the readers here are more concerned with end-game stuff, any of you with alts may want to check out some of the former elite mobs. Some of them were giving me xp as if they were still elite. And for the record, yes, I took into account the increased xp from 2.3. Check out the dwarves south of Tarren Mill. I got around 200xp for Captain Ironhill, the named guy there, but like 350 from the priests. The captain is level 32, the priests 30.
