Confirmed by a guild member. Resto T6 is very much free.
She hasn't bought it yet, though. :P

I knew I should have gotten those vials on my alt Shaman as soon as possible.
They can see when you pick up gear, and what you trade it in for however. Wouldn't be surprised to see them "recall" all T6 shaman pieces acquired today and have the people who earned the gear and picked it up after the patch submit a ticket for a redistribution after verifying the facts. I doubt it's that many legit players compared to the amount of Shamans that are taking advantage of this right now :p
*edit* For full irony, it should have been the elemental set, not resto. Hahahah.

Well, as someone pointed out anyone who got a token and wanted to use it for Resto T6 would still have the token. So it'd be safe for them to just delete all Shaman Resto T6 purchased since the patch.
I'd recommend not using epic gems on that Resto T6. :P

I believe Blizzard keeps a record of all transactions a character makes, either with a vendor or deleting an item. For at least a month, if my conversations and my guildmate's conversations with item restorers were accurate.
We'll find out shortly enough, as soon as the servers come down for an emergency hotfix.

Yes, but if the Shamans disenchant their t6, it might be harder for blizzard to take it away.

If you DE your T6, they can either take away the void crystals, or if you DEed a ton of it and AHed the void crystals, simply ban you for exploiting.
I don't know that many people who'd risk a BT attuned character for a little bit of in-game gold.

Looks like they woke up WoW Forums -> Shaman Tier 6 Bug Notice
We're aware that the Shaman Tier 6 restoration set currently does not have a cost requirement on it and we're working to resolve this as soon as possible.
We will be going to great lengths to remove the items already purchased, and tracking them down if they've been moved or converted in any way. Do not enchant or socket a gem into the items as they will be deleted when the item is.

So as someone who already has 4 pieces of tier 6, and who happened to get another full set of this gear with this fun little bug.....
What are the odds they delete the t6 I acquired legitly, or delete the gemmed/enchanted stuff I already had?

Chances are pretty big they'll manage to fix this based on a timestamp of purchase. Ifnot, nothing a ticket wont be able to change.
Boggles my mind why you would run the risk by buying a full set of gear you already had though.
edit: beat to it.

They're heading to MH now rather than waiting on a petition/soft reset.

They aren't that dumb. The famous "ask an ex-GM" thread from Something Awful showed the extent that Blizzard's databases keep track of everything. They can absolutely tell the difference between "T6 obtained today" and "T6 obtained yesterday", and "T6 obtained yesterday" should be filtered right out. I doubt it will take them too long to work through, honestly. The only people who might be affected negatively are people who actually raided and got t6 today and then socketed and enchanted the t6 piece not realising they'd never spent their token. Everyone who knew they weren't acquiring the piece legitimately deserves to lose their enchant and gems if they were dumb enough to enchant/socket something acquired in that way

Just listing fees. Vendoring gems is unchanged AFAIK

Also, you recoup listing fees on a successful sale anyways.

Right, but I like to deal in some niche markets, Great Dawnstone, the AP/MP5 nightseye, that sell big when someone needs them but go unsold for days at a time on my server
Changed: Adamantite Powder now auto-fits into your gemcutters bag. Hurray

2 things so far:
-- Void Reaver now "lobs" his orbs instead of shooting them in a straight line. Makes them a tad harder to see.
-- Feigning and drinking as a Hunter seems to be more difficult on bosses. I haven't been able to successfully do it on Al'ar or Void Reaver, even after dismissing my pet. Trash it works fine, even with a pet, so I think it's just a change to mobs (bosses) that combat pulse.

Shade of Akama's adds did not cast the channeling spell to hold him in place.
Basically, he headed for Akama as soon as we engaged, and we just pounded him down in about 20 seconds.... 1 wave of spawns total. Easiest encounter by far now .

Sounds like they re-broke whatever they did to fix the Shade encounter in the first place. Since they fixed it once already, I doubt it will take them long to hotfix it back. There seems to be a hole in their QA procedures that leads to this repeated scenario where a boss hotfix isn't merged into the next patch, and thus is undone when the patch is pushed live.
