Not sure if anyone else has had this happen or if this is just a one-time occurrence. We wiped on p2 Illidan tonight due to a miscommunication on an eye beam. Long-story short we thought it was odd that Akama didn't run off like he usually does at around 80% and when we were all dead Akama was standing there and Illidan just stayed in the air. After we all released we ended up getting "You cannot zone in while an encounter is in progress". Guess we'll have to wait for the soft reset, but has anyone else seen this happen with Akama?

A number of encounters seem to be missing a script and not properly resetting. Heard of it on Najentus, had it happen to us on Solarian, and now Illidan. Fun stuff.

Same problem here. It's next to impossible to raid right now. Every time I hit a button my UI locks up for 1 second. I used my AP-PoM-Pyro macro, which then locked up my UI for 10 seconds and the buff was nearly gone when I came out of it. Seems to work ok outside of the raid instance though.

This is a weird one, but we had 2 separate pallys accidentally DI the main tank while healing him tonight. On 2 different encounters. And both had no idea how they did it, it wasn't even on their bars. Could be coincidence, or drunk pallys, or dumb luck. Wondering if anyone else has seen this?

We had an oddity on Naj'entus.. after we killed him and moved into the tunnel, the entire raid was missed by a Needle Spine from Naj'entus. Very strange.
Also Shade of Akama did the same bug that was reported.

Identical for us today after Gorefiend. I resisted a doom bolt about 2 or 3 minutes after we finished him.

I was missed by no less than three needle spines after rezzing on the way up the tunnel. At least they didn't hit me, I had 600 hp :P

FPS decrease
I did just find out that there's apparently a bug with the new version of Bongos that can cause massive FPS loss when you're spamming a macro. So that could one of the problems with people having FPS issues. There's a post on the wow hunter forum (US) that says to uncheck show casted buffs and debuffs to fix it. Was just getting 3 fps on Rage Winterchill and I'm hoping that this will fix my problem.

From my guild's first half run of Kara we received 1 badge on Attumen, 2 on Moroes, Maiden and Curator. The Opera event (R&J) did not drop any badges. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but that was my experience.

23 total in 3 hours, or about 8 per hour. That's not shabby at all (understatement).

Just killed Akama. Everything was normal for us. Our instance was not spawned until ~8 PST.
One bug I did notice is that the AQ Qiraji tank mount now requires a macro with /dismount. If you simply link the item to your hotbar, it says that you cannot dismount while moving.
/use [nomounted] Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal
/dismount

As someone pointed out, it seems that lootable objects such as quest "cogs" objects (think of Bingle's supplies in Loch Modan, the things you click on), ore deposits and herbs now have sparkles which makes things a lot easier when it comes to certain things. I know that gathering some herbs could be a royal pain depending on the terrain - Firebloom and Bruiseweed were particularly bad.
Edit: Mailing more than 1 item at a time increases the cost of mailing items by 30c per item. Not sure that was mentioned in the patch notes.

Our Shade of Akama tonight didn't have any channelers channeling, so it immediately went into phase 2. The dudes still ran out from the sides but we just feared them and went full out DPS on Shade and that was that.
Also, to those saying that Archimonde rep hasn't been raised and that is old patch note stuff: you now get 700 rep for killing him instead of the 500 that it was.

We've had the reported issue with Akama before this patch, it's something done in the pull or something that forces it, atleast that's what I've been told - it's definatly not new though.

I don't know if this is related to 2.3, but it's never happened before it:
While running WoW and another application that uses sound, I often get sound "tearing" issues. By that, I mean sound from Winamp and Vent (over headphones) because extremely scratchy and laggy. This only happens while running WoW since 2.3 too, which leads me to believe its the problem. The strange part is I have WoW sounds completely disabled..Anyone else with this issue?

Here's the only thing. When not in combat, the macro used to also remove me from stealth and now it does not. Could just be that /cast Stealth no longer removes you from Stealth. I haven't figured it out yet.

Something similar with druid shapeshifting, I use a macro to bind prowl and shapeshift dire bear to the same key, prior to 2.3 pressing this macro in bear form would shift me out. Now it simply shifts me from bear form to bear form instantly, consuming my mana and proccing furor. This leads to some interesting possibilities for feral druids in dps roles:
If one were to bind this macro to a key
/cast [stance:3] Cat Form(shapeshift)
and press the key when at 0 energy that person would instantly shift from cat to cat and gain 40 energy from furor. One of the feral druids in my raid tonight was using this macro and having moderate success with it, of course he'll get better at it with practice.
He originally tried to bind it in with Ferocious Bite, so that immediately after using ferocious bite and resetting to zero energy he would gain 40 energy, but was unable to get that to work.

I've had an issue similar to this, but the scratching sound only occurs on the ingame sound (whereas vent and music comes in clear always). It's been going on for me for a while now, but the issues are slightly different so maybe yours is 2.3 specific. I usually play with sound off now because of it.

Something relatively minor...but that made me happy nonetheless.
When flying between Shadowmoon Valley and the Netherwing Ledge (and, if you are doing Netherwing dailies, shapeshifting between your regular form and the orc disguise) your pet will now properly despawn. No more landing to kill something only to see the "your pet is dead" message because it inadvertently ran off a cliff.
