If a 2-hander drops and it is deemed a druid first item then sure. However, there aren't a whole lot of druid priority items in MC that are 2-handers.
(and I swear if one of you druids ever thinks about laying a hand on a Finkle's I'll skin you in each one of your forms)

"Roll"?
For almost all items, there's a fairly strict class priority for them.
Amberseal Keeper from Kazzak has been pretty much a priest/druid staff, with shamans secondary.
Staff of Dominance from Golemagg has spell crit on it, and the +40 to all spells, while quite useful to a druid, is most important to a mage or warlock who have precious few ways of boosting their DPS.
Finkle's Lava Dredger is an amazing druid weapon, but druids simply do not melee in raid PvE. The massive DPS on the weapon is going to waste if it's not in a shaman (or paladin's) hands. If we ever get to a point where no shamans present want the Dredger, it'll go to druids.
Earthshaker is obviously a warrior weapon.
There aren't really other druid-usable 2h epics out there for the time being.
But if there were a staff/mace with +armor on it, that'd be a clear choice. Similarly, any 2h staff or mace with +healing would likely go to druids/priests.

No, we're not allowed to look a Dredger unless every shaman there has it already.
Yes, even though it makes perfect sense from a PvE raid perspective (and that is the only viable perspective to use when determining distribution of loot from a PvE raid) we are still slightly grumpy about it.
But that's ok, because when a 65DPS +500AC 2HMace shows up in BWL we're going to make all the warriors cry over it.

What Graham said.
Im pissed that I cant have finkels, And Amberseal Just won't cut it for me.
I want staff of dominance but whatever...I accepted long ago there is no point to try increasing my damage output.

You know, I'm one of those people who play one of the more lame and easy-to-kill-with PvP classes.

Well this has recently come up... you guys saw me here weeks ago getting your point system.
And were starting to get further and further into MC... but an issue came up tonight where we put restrictions on the Dark Iron Ring and said only warriors could roll on it.
Some druids and others complained a bit and now were trying to figure out how we should restrict items.
But more specifically theres a druid in my guild who wants to roll on 2handers like EarthShaker and Obsidian edged blade which ive had my eye on for some time.
Im guess you guys wouldnt let a druid roll on those items?

Basically we restrict items based on which class can use it to benefit the PvE raid group as much as possible. Druids heal in a PvE raid environment, so they are only going to be able to grab anything that can benefit that the most first. Giving warriors first dibs on the Dark Iron Ring makes sense since they do all the tanking.

Seriously though, it really depends on your guiding philosophy behind your raids. If you have a lot of turnover from raid-to-raid, the guild is sort of informal, your main concern is PvP and you raid occasionally to gear up for that, etc., then sure, let anyone bid/roll on/buy any item that's an upgrade for them. Let the shamans get Deathbringer, the druids get Finkle's, and warlocks get the Dark Iron Ring (+sta!). It's doubtless better than what they have in that slot to begin with.
Now, our philosophy is that loot should go where it will most help the raid group. A Dark Iron Ring is a great feral item for a druid. However, how often do druids tank in MC? Maybe on Majordomo or Garr if we're really short on warriors, but that lasts for all of 2 minutes until they revert to humanoid form. Druids are primary healers, decursers, crucial for combat rez and innervate, etc.
That ring on a MT, on the other hand, is a huge upgrade from whatever blue he might have in that slot otherwise, and will help him take less damage, stay alive, and thereby assist your whole raid.
An Earthshaker might be a fun druid weapon, but it has no relevant stats on it. It won't make a druid heal better, nor does it even help in bearform. And when's the last time you saw a druid melee in MC? Earthshaker should go to warriors first (since it's nice and slow with +AP on it for fun mortal strikes) and then to shamans if all warriors have epic 2h'ers already.
And so on.

I have no idea why all our druids are so bent out of shape about not having dibs on the dredger. Yeah it's nice, but it's definitely not the best PvE weapon available to a druid.

Not all of us are used to the idea that awesome druid items shouldnt be given to druids because they don't benefit the raidgroup as a whole.

So what got you used to taking whatever loot had stats for your class?

Now now.
Let's be realistic, finkle's dredger is arguably the best weapon in the game for any caster class that can equip it.
I think we all understand that, rightfully, it should go to Shaman because they can make active use of its great DPS in PvE raiding. In other words, only Shaman can utilize all of its positive aspects to further the guild as a whole. But that said, any druid would be crazy to not WISH that they could loot it.
We can certianly agree with the principles of something and abide by it while still wishing that it wasn't necessarily so.

Of course we'd like it. And some day, we might actually get a chance. But to get bent out of shape and actually be upset that the raid group comes first just seems a waste of concern.
I didn't mean anything by what I said. :(

I have to -SETTLE- on a Dredger because we can't get Kazzak from you guys. :(
I would take a Amberseal over a Dredger any day of the week. But I have a better chance of getting a Dredger.
