My guess would be Starcraft though, Blizzard most certainly does not want to cannibalize their existing MMO.

And hell yes, me and millions of idiots would roll ghosts right from the start.

Note that there's also some serious WoW-based recruitment going on. Including their new technical director, a couple leads, and, over in europe, some serious staff to prepare Russian localisation (I would have sworn Italian next, but apparently, the eastern market is better).

I knew picking russian as a 2nd foreign language would be good... now, where did my skills go??? (you can't beat trying to negociate black market dollar change in a Leningrad hotel lobby when you only have one a half year of courses and your potential changer doesn't know any other languages).

I would be 90% sure that it will be a Diablo MMO, the other 10% will be a new IP. I hope to god they make something new but I don't know if Blizzard management really has the balls these days, they would probably rather stick to tried and true games.

For the next-gen, just look at how many posts you can see from people going "OMG DIABLO 3" randomly on different boards. I'd really say that would be a pretty good bet. It's all speculation at this point, but I'd hope for D3.

If it's going to be Diablo 3, I hope it's about 5/8/20/45 DPS specs blasting through everything at high speed, the way you can grab a Paladin, 3 Sorceresses, an Assassin, two Barbarians and a Druid and just have a grand old time running through the Chaos Sanctuary.

That WoW XPS Laptop is jizz-o-licious. I wish they said how much it costs, but there's no doubt it's going to be anything less than an arm, a leg, and your first born given that the M1730 with minimum specs starts at like 2600.

Base cost is $4500.

Nah - a good portion of the cost back, maybe, but for purchaces of that magnitude people do use google, and anyone that wants the ticket that bad would just drop the cash on the laptop and ebay the machine.

WoW runs fine on my $800 Dell Inspiron 1505. Of course I don't play many other games.

Sheesh, does no one make desktops anymore? I have played WoW on a laptop while on the road but it certainly wasn't a pleasurable thing really. That wasn't latency or graphics related either, it's just that I really quite hate working with the limited form-factor of a laptop.

Still, it's a clever tie-in for Dell and they can use any boost I imagine right now. I'm less than thrilled to see Blizzard continuing with the whore-out-beta-keys program but I also can't say I blame them.
