So, our little guild made it to majordomo, second week, second day. A first time for us and would appriciate some advice on how to take down this sucker. I'm sure we'll figure it out sooner or later but would prefer having eye of divinity in my inventory tonight if possible (lucky ass me got the shadow one aswell ;D).
So, general kick-ass-advice needed. Understood that positioning+heal+add in to tell when reflect is going up is key but don't have a clue where to acctually position them etc. :blink:

Enjoy the fight. It's one of the cooler ones in MC. It's kind of a next step up from the prior bosses... think of it as a cross between Garr and Sulfuron. It's not all that hard, and if you go into an already-cleared instance specifically to kill him, you should get it after a few tries.
Most of what you need to know has already been said. Here are a few facts to help you think about the fight:
1) The Flamewaker Healers can be polymorphed.
2) You don't kill Majordomo. When all of his adds are dead he surrenders.
3) Majordomo actually does the least amount of damage of any of the mobs.
4) Majordomo will periodically teleport someone near him to the flaming pit in the center of the area.
5) When you kill half of Majordomo's adds (doesn't matter which), any remaining Healers become immune to polymorph.
6) Every 30 seconds, all the adds will get a 10-second shield that reflects either all spells or physical damage. The type is random each time.
7) If you pull any of Majordomo's adds too far from him, bad things happen.
There's all the basic information that 2-3 wipes would teach you. You should be able to formulate a successful strategy now.
