There actually was something brought up to account for this. A rule to help avoid that.

<+kenlyric> people who say they want less complex games are just trying to cover up the fact that they are bad at games

do you guys have to replace members on your MC raids often with another?

like... do you always have the exact same 40 people?

We used to, but not anymore.

Yes.

No.

----

At this point, the only time we will ever disenchant is if that exact item is possessed by everyone present, or is strictly inferior to what everyone has and lacks even situational use.

In short, if it is an upgrade for anyone present, someone will loot it. If everyone passes, the highest pointholder is more or less required to loot it (with room for exceptions, such as when it's a minimal upgrade for the #1 points guy and a huge upgrade for the #2, it should go to the #2) and pay the cost.

But bear in mind, this reflects our overall philolsophy of "the strength of the raid is everything." Disenchanting an item because the individuals would prefer a bigger upgrade hurts us in the long run, so we don't do it.

hahahaha

We have roughly 110 active raiders. So yes, you could say that.

Actually, over 160 members have been on at least one raid over the past 2 weeks. To break it down further, we do 3 Onyxia raids every 5 days and 2 MC raids each week.

We have a lot of jar :shit:-ers to say the least.

How situational are we talking?

Specifically, has Deep Earth Spaulders actually been willingly accepted by anyone? it's strictly inferior to Pauldrons of Elements, except that it makes Earthshock/Lightning Bolt slightly better. We had one person take them because he had Something of the Eagle (or possibly Falcon) at the time. Then the next day he got his coatrack on the way to getting Rend's head.

I took the Deep Earth Spaulders for 10Jp, they are nice PVP shoulders simply for their extra armor and they beef up Lightning shield/Chain Lightning which is handy for mass pvp.

Yeah, everyone who has them seems to wear them even while raiding. I remain suspicious of the phenomenon despite seeing the logic in the pricing.

That said, our shaman value armor somewhat more than is perhaps conventional because we occasionally let them tank things when we're bored. That, and they look infinitely better than the coatrack. That amor is just a giant red flag shouting "kill the overpowered shaman before he nukes you to death with the totem of infinite frost-shocks"
