The title says it, where have the archives gone for all the old threads?
It's been a second time now I've been trying to search something on the forums but wasn't able to find it using the search function.
Using Google Cache I was able to still view a cached version of the thread in question (Here), but I cannot access the Archives anymore, it tells me I don't have the permissions to do so.

I find it really a pity that these old threads are not accessible anymore, or not to the broad public. There are so many valuable information in these posts, so much hard work, that I wonder what was the reason the delete/disable access to those posts? Too much space used, too much traffic caused, lost during a database update?

I couldn't find information about the archives deletion(?) on this forum neither, so I'd like to ask here what happened and if you plan to re-enable access to the archives (or create new archives if the old ones are irrevocably lost ).

Boe was asked about those recently. Answer was:

In the meantime, though, I can say that the Archives are still enabled for subscribers/Benefactors, and I wholeheartedly encourage it.

These are indeed part of a greater secret plan, so secret, that I don't know what it is
