It is quite extensive, although some of it is not particularly important.

Environment :
- Inappropriate tooltip is displaying when a player hovers over Shartuul's Transporter on a flying mount.

Hmm. Odd that they'd list that one, but miss out the bugged tooltips of every single doodad in one of the eastern mana forges in Netherstorm.
I think it was Ultis.

[Bracing Earthstorm Diamond] is now not needing yellow > blue on live - makes it usable for the majority of healers.

Wow, that's pretty nice now. It's not so much that we couldn't just gem for output rather than mp5, but (healer) gear is loaded with blue sockets which required breaking socket bonuses to try and satisfy that gem's requirements. Shaman T4 for instance, has 4 blue sockets, 1 yellow, 1 red, and 1 meta. Even using purple/green gems in all the blues, and orange gems in both yellow/red slots, you break even. Heck, Cyclone, Cataclysm, and Coral Barbed shoulders all have 2 blue sockets.

No mention of the Warrior Flurry/Whirlwind bugs, I sincerely hope they didn't forget about it again. I've been bitching about both since 2.3 hit the PTR =/

Quests
- Blade's Edge Mountains: Players accepting the bombing run quests in Blade's Edge Plateaus will no longer cause other players in the region to stand up.

This bug amazes me. How does one player accepting a quest have anything to do with your character standing up, and even all characters in the same region?

And despite that it says so in today's patch notes, they did not fix it. The bug is still on live realms, I've tested several times. Extremely annoying for people doing the Ogri'la dailys regularly.

The minimap change to show raid instead of group is a very poor concept, all I see is a bunch of blue dots on my minimap, anyone knows of an addon to revert the changes?

I would strongly recommend you to kill that patrol. We skipped it before and thought it would be safe, unfortunately 1-3 persons got feared very close to or through the gate and agroed the patrol which wiped us.

It's the cubes at Coruu for a Kirin'Var chain. I figured a workaround; you can rightclick the cubes in the brief moment your camera is zooming out after you hit zoom out (mouse scroll for me). Should work with whatever other doodads are currently broken, as well.

I wonder if the original issue with accepting the quest making players stand up had anything to do with the Hunter's-Mark-type effect that appears above the ammo piles for players on the quest.

I agree it's hard to make out who is who with the new changes, but it was quite handy last night when some bonehead in my raid got hit by Lurker's spout and he didn't have to ping the map for a Rebirth until I found him. I could plainly see where he landed without having to ask. You also might want to try zooming in so the dots aren't overlapping too much.

The new change is terrible. Its a nice idea but the result is a minimap-mess of dots.

I don't think I'd go that far, in several cases it's quite useful. When I'm chain-pulling trash it's easier to tell when my healers aren't in range now. We know exactly who's lagging behind on ROS and where everyone is positioned. I can think of a couple other encounters where it will be handy.

Personally I don't mind the change. It might be helpful if your party was a different color dot on the map however.

The new requirement for [Bracing Earthstorm Diamond] is confirmed (no more Yellow > Blue) ?

It would be so nice for any healer.

I think the mod is called Alternate Blips. I didn't know what everyone was bitching about because on my minimap my party was red and the raid was blue.

Given the new "what to show on the minimap" dropdown, they clearly should have added "party" and "raid" options, and the "raid" option should really color the dots by class (which would allow to you look for likely nearby healers without having to mouseover dots).

And yes, I find it really annoying as well.

RoS was not bugged for us last night for the first time ever (4 months or so?). Akama wasn't bugged either and he's bugged on us for the past month.

It would also be nice if they added Interface Options to turn off all these new minimap features they are implementing. The map dots don't bother me all that much but clearly they annoy some.

edit: Sorry for repeats, posted at the same time as Melador.

Is Alternative Blips the name of the mod? I looked on Curse/Wowace and wasn't able to find out. Would you be able to check again to find the exact name?

WoWInterface Downloads : Alternate Blips

Found it with Google. WoWInterface's default search isn't fuzzy.

It's a Gello original mod updated by a fan for 2.3, which is located here:
