We've had 1 attempt per week for the past 4 weeks or so. Getting better each week I guess, but he's bugged on the 2nd pull every time, including this week when we had reports that he'd been fixed. Oh well. We've had the fight down since our first pull, 1 attempt though is really hard to count on especially when you have a new tank, or something dumb happens.
Our new issue this patch is the server randomly kicking off 5 or 6 people. Probably not directly patch related, but when 5/7 healers and 2 tanks get booted on wave 8 of kaz'rogal trash.....damnit.

Hm, due to a mess-up last night, we tried to leash him but were unable to do so. Maybe it had something to do with the fact he entered a Fel Rage phase? Not sure, but when he was running up the stairs, Fel Rage happened, no leash.

The recipe for [Fisherman's Feast] has been changed for the better. Instead of 1 fish 2 spice 1 apple for 2 food, it's not 1 fish 5 spice 5 apple for 6 food, quite possibly making feltail schools a viable alternative to crawdad schools for 30 stamina food. BTW for those not good at math (including myself apparently): that is a reduction in mats per food for spices and fish, not for apples, but they're a vendor mat anyways.

Anyone else having problems with Grand Astromancer on Kael'thas encounter? Since patch rolled in, she tend to ignore aggro and conflag our warlock upon running onto his head all the time. We tried to place lock bit further away from wall and ended up having him cornered few seconds after.

BTW, just for you, it's actually an increase in the number of apples needed - 5/6 per food rather than 1/2 per food. Not a particularly scarce resource though.

We have nothing but scornful dislike for Capernian since Day1. Some weeks she stands still and nukes the warlock - other times she wanders over to see how he's going, conflagging him and generally being a pain in the ass.
Yes, our warlock tried all the "just creep back" type tricks etc. Capernian just seems (to us) randomly screwy in P1. In P2 she seems far more stable (which is fine).
Remember that P1 isn't a DPS race, just get the warlock to jog around, get people to keep out of the way, and take your time.
We are at the "just outgearing her" phase, so now that the warlock has even the slightest bit of aggro lead, the conflag tank is in position, we just go all out - and heal the person who pulls aggro. This has greatly simplified (and de-aggravated) Capernian for us.
My advice - just take it easy - take your time.

No issues observed with Astromancer. You may want to use a 2nd tank and see if you can control it that way for P1. If your lock gets conflag'd (i.e. disoriented) in P3, tell him to L2P and use the staff.

We killed Kael many times already but haven't gotten Capernian moving soo many and so fast onto our lock. Just wanted to know if it's just super bad luck that night or a global issue. Thanks for input.

Last night on Bloodboil he did something unexpected during phase two. While hitting the fel raged person he switched target for a snap of a second to a phase one tank behind him. When he did this he used fel acid, hitting the melee for 5k with the dot ticking for 6k, killing three rogues and a shaman. After this he continued hitting his fel raged target.

This could happen if you have a Paladin getting fel raged and accidentally bubbled or someone else tanking but getting bopped by a paladin who mixed up his Holy Light and BOP buttons. If the paladin is quick, he can BOP and switch to his original blessing to remove it.

Last night our raid had a similar issue. A destruction warlock got the Fel Rage buff, but immediately after that Bloodboil targeted the main tank again. It happened twice in a row to her, but not to anyone else. At first people blamed the usual suspect: Nether Protection. However, Bloodboil does no fire or shadow damage. The combatlog showed no Nether Protection procs either.
The only thing the combatlog reveiled was:
Warlock gains Fel Rage
0.1 second later: Fel Rage fades from Warlock.

Where exactly are you fighting him at?
There has been an issue with felrage and the 'walls'. We fight him on the ramp down to his room. Whenever a person is next up for the bloodboil dot they stand in the 'trench' area on the left side of the ramp if you were facing down. Now we have noticed that if the person who gets felraged is all the way up against that wall - felrage will knock them up in the air, they bump their head on the ceiling/wall slanted part (sometimes they land on that little raised ledge) and fel rage immediately fades from them.
It's almost like an evade, except it doesn't actually reset the bosses hp for whatever reason. We have had this happen more than a couple times. We just make sure that after the 5th bloodboil noone stands too close the wall, and haven't had a problem since.

We had issues trying to leash Advisors on the Kael'thas fight Wednesday night. We killed him on the second attempt, so that's not a big sample size, but every single time we've previously tried to leash an Advisor in p3 (mage blink, hunter eotb, then intervene that target) it's worked flawlessly. Last night, we borked up the 2-3 transition and I tried to leash Sanguinar. Nothing happened, and 3 advisors chased me outside the main room, through the gates, and continued killing us all until we fully wiped.

This used to happen with Heroism/Bloodlust as well. (Don't know if it still does, didn't test) Basicly, if there is not enough room for your character to grow bigger it gets removed again. This can indeed happen if you stand under a wall or tight against one. You can test this by jumping on your spot, if your characters "bump" into the wall during the jump that is how far your character can grow. I've never seen it happen with Fel Rage though.

We tank him at the same position, at the bottom part of the ramp. The warlock was in the second Bloodboil group, which is the group taking the 5th Bloodboil. So your explanation seems very plausible. I am just amazed that it did not happen before, considering the many attempts and kills we have of this boss. So this issue is most likely not related to 2.3.2 at all.

Has to do with this?

Do you use a soak tank who stands nearer to capernian than your lock? (And if so: are the problems sometimes initiated by the lock getting conflagged even though the tank was closer?)

Yes of course. As I wrote before, we encountered Kael'thas many times with success and didn't get such wierd behaviours of Capernian as last night. We place paladin at in range of 30 yards from her, and lock out of conflagration range. The problem is that instead of standing still, she tends to move, many times in short time range and land ontop of warlock, which of course end up lock beeing conflaged.
Anyways, this goes OT, I just wanted to ensure if anyone else was having such a problems due the patch or is it just a very bad luck we had last night.

That's just a stances aura. There's probably some programming reason for it, but no; that's an invisible debuff applied to everyone with fel rage.
I know from experience that you can't use Avenging Wrath when you're picked for Fel Rage, and if you have Divine Shield active when he picks you for Fel Rage (I shielded to remove an acid breath, and he decided to pick me for his target), he'll happily run over and punch the invulnerable bubble like an idiot.
The Fel Rage Fixate always applies, regardless of the status of the target, until that target is dead.
That guy's wierd experience with an acid breath was probably just a wierd tether on Gurtogg's part; the fel rage victim took a step back or something, and Gurtogg spasmed and acid breathed at precisely the wrong time.
