Reality of AV is that you have several horde guilds all organized and wanting to run the BG, and your competition consists of pick up groups.
I think we are organizing for a few nights of the week to go there, maybe we should coordinate.

Last night an AV opened with random horde vs. a raid group of what seemed like 25+ strife and other alliance. They were extremely well organized, but for the entire two hours I was there they didn't bother to do anything except hold the Snowfall graveyard. Maybe they were farming us for blood and supplies, but I got the feeling that they could have steamrolled all the way to our base at any time they chose.
The fact is, alliance have a huge advantage in AV at least, because any time they form a 40man raid group they can get their own AV, pitted against a completely unorganized mess of horde. Any time a horde guild tries to do so, they are faced with what would realistically be a 24 hour+ wait timer. As it is, the only way we can get into an instance is less than 3 hours is to go solo.
