Its especially true in Alterac Valley were noone holds you accountable for keeping your buddy alive, and the other side doesnt heal much either....so in essence you can pick one person out of the crowd and just spam it on them.

You know, I'm one of those people who play one of the more lame and easy-to-kill-with PvP classes.

Hey Elfan...did you like my moonfire spam? Think thats the first time ive ever taken off the last 20-30 percent of health on moonfire spam alone.
I've discovered something.

It's kind of embarressing.

But it's true.

You get 5 or 6 pieces of cenarion and suddenly you're at 6K+ MP self bufed and well, um, moonfire spam becomes a viable strat even 2v1.

You can moonfire spam some one to 30% or so, stun them, heal to full, innervate, and moonfire spam them dead. Heal again, moonfire spam thier buddy to dead.

I feel horibly dirty but it's true.
the funny thing is that Everyone's Favorite Coast Guard Druid likes to moonfire spam in his gear that gives him 3,500-4,000 mana max

The problem you guys (alliance) keep having when trying to start instances with 40man groups and they wont start, is this:

Picture yourselves at a theatre, where there are seats for 40 horde and 40 alliance (80 total)... and you're trying to buy tickets to go see a movie with your (40) alliance buddies.

So you want to meet up with 40 friends and see a flick- great. But the ticket dude has alliance guys in line ahead of you- and they already have some of the tickets to fill the spots that your 40 friends need. So you figure eh, what the hell we'll buy tickets for a show when we can all go together, and you enter your raid group as a whole into the queue.

Well, apparently the theatre wont start the movie until there are enough alliance and horde in their seats for the FIRST show. So, what ends up happening is that in order for your entire raid group to get in, there have to be enough alliance to start the movie (20 i think? 25? something like that) with the (40) horde that are already in there, and THEN you get to go sit down in a different theatre (AV2) with (40) other horde and watch a movie.

Well the problem is, there are never 20-25 alliance in the queue ahead of your raid- instead there are like 6 - so the movie never starts.

The alliance AV attitude seems to be 'oh, well the reason we lose is we are unorganized and outnumbered.' The reason you lose is because you do not have the same ATTITUDE as the horde players do, and when you combine that with the fact that your lv60 guilds all bicker amongst eachother like little bitches - nothing ever gets accomplished and no instances ever start because you refuse to play with eachother. The simple fact is that AV will throw you in with a whole slew of your random realm-mates, you are going to have to learn to deal with that as we have... there are much larger problems than this once you actually start to cope with being grouped with a bunch of retrib pallies. (such as, treating your priests and druids respectfully by keeping npcs off of them when they draw heal aggro - otherwise many of them will just stop healing)

On our side, we all join as individuals- and we all group with whomever is inside the instance in a big 40-man raid [in reality it's 39+ ganadar being a faggot by himself] and we just deal with it- even if we think some people in the raid group are fucking assholes (and they are) we just deal.

We here at Strife are holding our cards closer to the table after that mistake with killing Cairne, but i can tell you the alliance is atleast trying to pull it together. Given a bit of time the bickering will evaporate. :-/

Absolutly. I'm usually very hesitant to group with non-guildies. The drama that accompanies it just isn't worth it to me. Coming into AV with an open mind though has really changed my opinion about alot of horde players - we really do have some very strong players spread throughout the server.

I think alliance would realize that too if they could get over the problems already stated. I hope you do too, because frankly I'd rather have 40 vs. 40 competent players and a difficult battle to look foward to. Even if we lose, a good battle is a good battle.
