Fake lol. If it was actually the PTR, G'eras would be drowning in a sea of noobs.

I think its pretty obvious "if said screenshot is true" that those are solely for the PTR and means for people with badges to complete missing pieces in their set. Alternatively it gives people a way to play with Tier 6 on the PTR if they go and do some heroics (likely the new heroic) or transfer with a lot of badges!

So, who's up for some Karazhan? :-\
I can't believe that. That MUST be for PTR only. Right?

The one thing I think that is a bad product of making t6 quality badge loot and so is that it obsoletes TK/SSC now. It's kind of too bad that Kael'Thas will hardly get any face time now, because that is one hell of an encounter.
Not to be an elitist or anything, but I think they are moving a bit too quickly with the badge loot. I understand why they are doing it, but they could have at least disguised by sprinkling a few new pieces here and there.
E: If it's fake, my thoughts still stand and I hope they do it on live servers how I suggested.

I removed the post, since it's probably a fake. I'm stupid like that and don't want to create stupid rumors.
I can't even get a listing of the PTR server yet, and he can't have had his character transferred so soon anyway I guess.

Considering the T6 item level vendor is on Sunwell Isle...
Regardless, im sure G'eras cant possibly hold anymore inflated epics in his inventory, there must be a limit!

It's also a rather obvious fake due to one little patch note:

Merchants now display how many pages of merchandise they sell (Page 1 of 2).

Anyone having problems copying their toons to the ptr? In the character copy screen I select my realm and it says I dont have any characters there.
In any case, I hope the sunwell loot shown on world of raids does not include every weapon yet, as the lack of a slow mace or axe would make me sad...

Faking pretty much any UI aspect is pretty easy, for example you could go to the BE starting area, find a vendor and position the camera in a way to make it look like it's Sunwell Isle, while still giving new badge gear with it's own unique vendor name.
And yes, the PTR is broken and won't let you copy any characters you can see the page/select server, it just won't do anything and keep saying no characters on X server.
[edit] Until you see it off mmo-champion, you can likely assume it's fake.

To point out about the caster dagger vs maces
Paladins cant use daggers, so shockadins and protection pallys need the spell damage on their weapons.

No one has brought this up yet so I figured I'd chime in. Looks to me like its pretty obvious that the Dead Scar and most of that seemingly unused part of the island is for the new Bombing Run daily quest. Gotta have a pretty big area to fly around in and throw bombs at so I would guess this is it.

Either way I'm a bit confused how/why there is a Frost Wyrm there at all. Surely thats more of an Arthas/Scourge/WotLK thing than a Burning Legion, their tendancy is to use Demonic servants who are unarguably tougher foes than mindless undead.

Perhaps the Frost lord and frost wyrm are one fight? The weapon model shows the Frost Lord's scythe looking weapon, so it may stand reason that the frost lord may be a raid boss and is part of the fel frost wyrm fight. I could of course be talking out of my ass.

What? Prot paladins I could see, of course, but who seriously tries to raid as shockadin? As far as I know shockadin is a shoehorn spec and not viable for anything other than 1v1ing warriors.

There's a seperate model in the files for the frost lord's heart, so I'm assuming he has a "submerge phase" where you wail on his heart, or something.

That was my own personal speculation on the topic. That he dies and resurrects into a that abomination. However it's not exactly a Frost Wyrm, the model is just identified obviously as the Frost Wyrm's reused skin. It's actually a Fel Wyrm, or Fel Dragon, and as such we should expect Fire type attacks from it, again this is just rampant speculation. But I THINK I can safely say that Dragon has no relation to Arthas and the Scourge, and more relation as a Fel or Demonic undead dragon to the Legion. The Scourge is not the only group with a monopoly on undead beings after all.

Yeah, but I don't expect the melee oils to be widely used by DPS rogues and warriors any more than they currently use sharpening stones, since Windfury Totem is better.

So Kalecgos, being of the blue dragonflight, might be highly resistant to frost/arcane like Azuregos. ADDITIONALLY, in the same instance there is a Fel dragon with fire attacks that could potentially be resistant to FIRE?! I don't think mages are going to like this place one bit.

It seems odd that we dont have a model for the Fel Dragon if it is indeed not the (Non)Frost Wyrm at this time, considering the rest are all accounted for..

Isn't nightbane a fel dragon of sorts? And he isn't resistant to fire right?

That fel dragon is probably more akin to Nightbane than to Sapphiron, so i doubt they will make him immune to fire. Who wants to bet that this thing will cast Bellowing Roar?

That's what I was saying, the model for the Fel Dragon is the Frost Wyrm. In the MPQ it's identified as like FelFrostWyrm or something like that.

Umm, well, again rampant speculation on our parts again, but that sounds about right.
In reference to Undead dragons, how does Nightbane react to fire spells? Immunity? Partial resistance?

Well, originally, Nightbane was a blue dragon as well, so if any immunities he had might have carried over, these would still be Arcane or frost immunities.
Kinda pointless to take this further, though, since I remember all specs of mages performing well on him when I still had a readon to go there...

So I'm curious, have they actually announced season 4 or is it just speculation about that based on the fact it's a new patch with a new raid instance and there's some item set names data mined.
I was thinking the Brutal item sets or whatever it is could be the pvp armor they put on rep vendors, I didn't think it would necessarily be the same grand marshall or high warlord armor moved to rep. Did I miss something or is it possible that they aren't doing S4 with 2.4?
(also possible they'll ship 2.4 and have S4 in the code but not available until a while after that, who knows, just curious if I missed something)

With the lifting of attunements, i see a great way for BT guilds to make money selling Lady Vashj & Kael vials & selling items in MH/BT they don't need. Guilds that skipped the attunement won't be able to get the rep rings, so I can see them forking out the cash to get the vial quest done. To me that is a win-win situation for everyone.

Im disappointed about the pve nerfs and give aways for badges.
As i see it Blizzard should help ppl out with progress thru challenges like ZA. This is the right way to go, as was ZG. Nerfing 25-man encounters and boost players with free epics from badges and arena doesnt raise the overall satisfaction with wow imo, it just drains the game of quality and makes it similar to fast food.
Taking away attunements is no big problem thou, if it wouldve required gear ups by some 10-man raid as a step stone between ssc/tk and bt/mh. So 25-man still is where the most powerful drops exist and 10-man is a step behind. Gearing up a whole guild with even more runs kz o the other hand, is just a bit cheesy and smell like Blizzard is slacking.
