The Resto Druid ones are pretty damned hot now I have to admit (full or the majority of sta back at a cost of 33%~ of the haste we gained).
Im impressed at how nicely itemized the majority of the pieces are now, and curious how the previous versions could make it through.

Then you just pop in for the last boss in a heroic, and you have your Primal Nether to craft it; instant uber headpiece for leveling through the 60s.
With the 2.4 change in Primal Nether not being Soulbound, getting a helm should become a pretty common practice for anyone who leveled up Engineering by 62.

Yes, but the guy in question didn't have honored rep with any outland factions. He didn't have the reputation to get the heroic key, which is why it was curious to me.

New pally ones (pictures are sort of big so they're behind links):
Holy
Retribution
Protection
Still stuck with the craptastic 4-piece though on the ret set.

Even if they do seriously intend to make this change, somebody would have to verify that it's not also affected by spell damage, on top of that percentage-based mechanic.

The same way a PTR build could go live with uh, some pretty noticeable model size bugs (see attached).
It's the PTR.

All creaturing scaling is broken in the current build. We decided to push it anyway since it was mostly cosmetic. There might be some issues with hit-boxes and animations but we wanted testing over the weekend with updated data and rather than wait three days, we pushed it with the bug live. Hey, it's the PTR =P

Updated feral set, seems the same except for the lost hit rating on belt. 8 pieces of t6 feral gives druids 20 expertise & 27 hit rating..

Yer, the belt kept the crit rating it got in V2 rather than reverting to the original hit rating it had, bad change in my opinion. Least we got the other two pieces back intact.

Looks like the only DPS set to keep its no stamina status was the Warrior one. Will be interesting to see if thats due to an oversight or just a decision to keep these with no stamina to keep them out of arena.

They seem to have reverted the Hunter mend pet change, it's now 25/50 instead of 50/100. I wonder why.

Doing normal Sethekk is the most common way I have heard of, don't believe anyone does heroic versions for the nethers. You just do the run as normal, bring the alt to the door that opens when you kill the last boss and die there. You will still be able to roll on the nether but not gain any experiance in the process.

Some Life Tap tests (in full PvP gear with improved LifeTap):
Test realm:
1930 health lost
1557 mana gained
Live:
1406 health lost
1708 mana gained
This is with 13.0k health and 8647 mana.
Edit:
Fun implications: Consider a 2v2 fight where a lock/priest fights a rogue/priest. The rogue will be glued to the lock which will be dispelled and poisoned. Every shadow bolt the lock manages to cast (most likely, only nightfall procs) will force his healer to heal him for
420 * 1930/1557 * 2 = 1042 health
The shadow bolt does roughly 1500 damage to the opponent...

People on the PTR forums were reporting the values also decreasing based on their current, not max, mana. That surely is a bug if accurate.
I'd also be curious to see numbers from a fully PvE-geared warlock as well -- I can see this as a way to give Int more value for warlocks and as a nerf for Life Tap in PvP (high-stam) settings.

Terrain water seems to be horribly bugged this patch.
The water in Silymr lake has been totally drained as the 1st pic shows. Note you can see the fish around me seeming floating in mid air.
The second pic shows me underwater in flight form with a pet out in Skettis. You can see at the top odd squares and under that column it was as if I was on dry land, could breathe and fly for example.

So Brutallus is now mini-Brutallus. Anyone know if hitbox sizes are actually wonky with this build?

It's a nerf regardless, and a nasty one.
Assuming the 15% is correct (which is a reasonable assumption given that all the values involved are 15%, they're just going off CurMana instead of MaxMana), I get back only 1400 mana instead of 1900.
40% increase in how often I have to tap. Plus if your HP > mana (which it is for a lock), we are requiring more heals. Plus, we actually hurt the healers more when we lifetap in high stamina gear, rather than what we do now (put on sta gear to make it less of an issue when we tap, in high-damage situations.)

I don't doubt that you've never heard it said, but it just seems that warriors have some pretty good reasons for wanting stamina. Is this just because a lot of their gear already has stamina? That's one consequence of having a fairly shallow pool of desirable stats. And also one reason why they can usually squeeze a little stamina in there with no serious tradeoff.
|
DPS warriors really have no need of extra stamina. A BT level DPS warrior raids with no less then 12k hp buffed, and in some cases its closer to 14 or 15k. We really have no need for all this stamina, and I pray that they keep the stamina off our pieces. These are the best itemized pieces we have ever had, and I'm truly impressed at the design team for this one. I think they are paying us back for putting agility (worthless warrior stat) on our other Tier 6. I hope this goes live.

The tooltip for Life Tap is "Converts 26% of maximum health into 26% of maximum mana", it is not updating when i take the talent points but the mana returned does change with talents.
Some quick tests with 9700 HP, 9010 mana
1267 shadow damage
0/2 Improved Life Tap: 1352 mana
1/2 Improved Life Tap: 1487 mana
2/2 Improved Life Tap: 1622 mana
I removed trinkets and wand (no stamina or intellect, but spell damage on them) and got the same mana as with 2/2 Improved Life Tap, so I guess it is not scaling with damage.
