You can reach the new isle by making a healer class and swimming north from the belf starting area.

I couldn't find a vendor who would sell anything for badges of justice, but i did find one who sold very good quality stuff in exhange for (presumably) sunwell drop + "Sunmote", f.ex. you could trade in cloth healing pants to get cloth dps pants.

That has to be mined Sunwell stuff. Most of it is clearly superior to anything from t6 content.

I have no idea what a Sunmote is. Neither am I sure that you need a drop from inside, but you have to turn in a blue item.

Sunwell might be the place where Blizzard showcases PVE itemization entirely from tokens, removing the bulk of RNG from the game. Definitely some of the best news we've had in a while. But I'm wondering why in god's name does all the cloth caster dps gear have spirit on it...

MMO Champion has the remainder of the belt/bracer/boots set. I note with great sadness that the Ret 4-piece bonus is still 10% damage to Hammer of Wrath. I guess I'll enjoy ignoring my set bonus in favor of superior item upgrades?

Because there's only a limited amount of bosses (=room for loot) in sunwell and they give more loot choices to us this way?
All the items were for different spec than the item you turn in to get them as far as i saw, like dps warrior item -> tank item.

Interesting, as the Malefic pieces have the same armor as the ilvl 141 items in BT/Hyjal.

All the Epic Items Illundai posted are similar to the drops in Blade Edges Mountasin, where you need the random drop of the zone + Asphexis or how ever they are named, now on the Island, you need the random drop + Sunmote, but nobody has any Idea what a sunmote is.

Knowing the conecpt of the Blade Edges Epics I would assume, that you can get Sunmotes while farming the daily quests, maybe like doing 50 - 100 daily for one sunmote or something like that...

They are imho most definately not drops of the sunwell, much more likely there are randomd rops in the whole zone or atleast in magisters terrace.

Alright, I ran out of stuff to screenshot, so I'll post a bit of what I've seen so far.

There is no apparant way to get to the island except to SWIM. I died midway by fatigue, but I could res at the same spot I died. Once on the Island, I suddenly got ported to the camp of the Shattered Sun Offensive. Here, you see a small camp that is filled with NPCs of both Aldor & Scryer trying to hold off attacks. Plenty of NPCs have a dialog, which you can read PROGRESSION of the offensive off. One is talking about the sentries running around that attack you, how you can convert them to help you. Another talks about the arms and how far you are in converting them to your own use. I've found 2 such NPCs. I'm sure there are others. This is also where the boat is located where you can find this NPC that sells the stuff in my first picture. There is also a T6 vendor here. This guy sells the T6 Bracers, Belt and Boots. On the boat itself is another NPC with a progress report. This one talks about a "First Gate" that has defenses that need to be taken down.

Drysc mentioned there was T6-equivalent badge loot off a vendor in Sunwell Isle - I take it this is not that vendor? This all looks like rep loot and there is no fist weapon which he indicated there would be. Is there a badge vendor you've missed?

The item levels seem to vary. Some are T5 level (133 like Legplates of the Juggernaut), some are ilvl 141 (like Felstrength Legplates) etc. Armorwise that is.
