It bounces to a nearby target or goes to a random target in range of the demon?
If its the former, can the cursed player run away from the raid and be decursed without it jumping?
@Melador, how many guilds have their full 30 raiders on the PTR doing serious attempts? Last time I logged in there was 22 level 70s on the PVE realm.

Demon:
Curse of Boundless Agony: Curses the target with agony, causing periodic Shadow damage. This damage is dealt slowly at first, and builds up as the Curse reaches its full duration. When removed this Curse jumps to a nearby target. Lasts 30 seconds.
This curse is an interesting concept. So should you not decurse it?
Spectral Exhaustion: The passage from spectral realm to mortal realm leaves the body in a weakened state, unable to use spectral rifts. Lasts 1 min.
P.S.
Ah, dragon is tauntable. So tank rotations should be simple.
|
Unless I am missing something why couldn't you just constantly decurse it and keep it in the low damage range, then eventually immunity it off?

If theres AoE damage it might be more viable to heal the first few ticks of the curse whilst healing the rest of the raid instead of spam decursing every GCD?

Ah, that's a possibility. I was thinking something along the lines of a 'Mark of Mograine' or something that prevents the curse from bouncing back to the original target, or punishes you for allowing it to do so.

I think vodka had almost a full raid, we were about 50/50 with Eminence tonight, and we had a few doing MT as well. Based on the chaos on the island I'm assuming there are hundreds of 70s on PVE by now.

Fire immune also.

Quest 2 is to kill four demons for an item with a 100% drop rate, then use an item on a nearby mob and kill four of those. Easy and it gives 5 sunfury signets or marks of sergaras, your choice. It'd be easy to do on your way south from netherstorm after doing cooking daily/belf butcherin'.
|
Not easy if it's overcamped, since the "and kill 4 of those" don't have the fast respawn timer on them when they're overcamped (or something about the transformation interferes with it) so it can be quite a long wait.

Before this thread gets too overrun with talk of each individual boss, should we start separate threads for them now?
nm. I see that someone has started a thread for the first boss, can we have all future discussion of that boss there?

I looked around for info on the teleportation to Hyjal and haven't seen anything so I thought I would chime in.
The NPC that teleports you there is located in the Bar inside Shattrath. Requires exalted reputation with Keepers of Time and will teleport you directly next to the Bronze drake right near the summoning stone.

That's a little disappointing. The novelty of taking that 2 minute dragon flight down to the instance hub proper has long since worn off, especially since it's so far removed from the meeting stone, which has no flight upwards.
On a more personal note,I just made my Gadgetzan Teleporter nary a week ago. Between rendering that obsolete, Commendation of Kael'thas looking to replace my Poultryizer, epic gems becoming available to the mainstream and the goggle upgrades only dropping from Sunwell trash, my Engineering is starting to look just a tiny bit ... cramped in style.

Yes, though with 2.4 Warlocks can port into the instance again, so at least for raids going there, this isn't so much of an issue.
I find it funny that I'm exalted with Scale of Sands but not with Keepers of Time. I guess it will still be a while until I turn in that quest at Jaina that lets me port from SW to Theramore at will.

Hmm, that new metagem for tanks looks very interesting. It depends on how it will be calculated ofcourse, but a 10% extra block value seems a tad overpowered considering how well it scales.
Being a tank myself i'm not complaining merely prepared for a quick nerf later on.

On mmo-champion.com the upgrade costs for the googles are listed as 4x Primal Nether and some Motes (not sunmotes) or engineering parts. So what is correct ?

Noticed on the US PTR forum that the MSD got nerfed down to 20% haste, wasn't this change listed in the 'fake' patchnotes?

MSD was changed to 320 haste rating for 6 seconds, but is no longer consumed on first spellcast.
It maintains the 45 second ICD, from what my quick Dr. Boom testing showed - filtered combatlog attached. Testing was VT, MFx5, repeat.

Ok means hoping for luck or spending some thousand gold on the auction house. The stats are good, but on par with T6. That's bad news.

At least you're not an alchemist? Tailoring/Leatherworking/Blacksmithing/Engineering/Jewelcrafting all get nice new items to make, and I don't even get a token new potion :p
The new 5-man (which people are already confusingly shortening to 'MT') didn't seem that bad, though we were all in T5-T6 gear. The trash needs less bullshit AoE stuns, though. And dying to a big soap bubble on Kael was slightly embarassing :o

Sorry if it was answered (though I did made a thread search for Magtheridon and didn't had the answer I was looking for, so I suppose it wasn't up to now ^^), but do anyone know in which way the Magtheridon fight was changed ?
I wonder if it was the banning mechanic or the channelers part that was nerfed.

Blizzard EU is back at work and cautions all EU players to NOT copy their chars to the PTR right now. They are aware and working on it:
WoW-Europe.com Forums -> 11/02 Character copy issue
|
The PTR character copy does not currently work correctly. We’re working on having it corrected as soon as possible. Meanwhile, please do not copy your characters at this time.

Coming in late ot the T5/6 Badge loot / weapons, as a raider just entering MH I am all for it as far as weapons go, sometimes you just can't get that drop and having to do 10 2v2's every week just to get upgrades to your kara weapons sucks to be frank.

The buff only lasts 4 seconds.
Yes, the tooltip says 6 seconds. But the wowhead spell lists it at 4 seconds duration, and it's only 4 seconds in your log as well.
20% haste for 4 seconds every ~50 seconds is about 1.6% haste total. Underwhelming to say the least.

Hm. You're right. It's still not that bad, but it needs to be boosted to 6 seconds to be roughly equivalent to the prior MSD.
(Remember, 1.6% passive haste is ~25.2 haste rating, and at this point all classes should be seeing haste as at least 1:1 with +damage come 2.4.)
