Oh yay, it will only take our server twenty weeks to get to Kil'Jaeden... don't know about you but that doesn't sound too exciting! We're leagues ahead of anybody on our server and I don't see why we should be slowed down like this...
Congratulations on the pacing mechanism (or attempt at one) to keep people playing until WotLK, Blizzard...

You cant say anything about the pacing mechanic untill it goes live, judging it based on PTR versions is completly pointless.
Im glad you know the full extent of the mechanics involving the gates while no one else does though Dobi, care to share?

If you farmed Kael, Vashj, Illidan and Archimonde and those all would drop the essence. It's quite fast.
For futher progressed realms top guilds would not bother with kael or vashj, so only some of the guilds "farm" essences from them.
In the end, that would be pretty balanced.
Alchemy: I think alchemists should get their very own "enchant" spot on Belt. Examples:
-Potion cooldown decreased by 20sec.
-Elixir and Flask effects increased by 10%.
-Transmute cooldown decreased by 4 hours. (requires more thinking for transmute mastery..)
-Transmute mastery creates one socket on belt.
etc.
Some of them could be Mastery bound etc.

You're right, because any amount of criticism might be a bad thing, or possibly get something changed that could otherwise end up as a bad thing.

This is crazy. A new quest hub just opened on the island.
You can trade in Tier 4 for Gladiator Season 1 and Tier 5/6 for Gladiator Season 2 gear.
In addition all PvP gear is now purchasable with honor tokens.

If the t5 to S2 gear is correct it might be the best buff to protection warrior ever.
<-- Prot
EDIT:
You can trade the t4 and t5 tokens for S1 and S2 respectfully. The old t4/5 items are replaced.

Right now both T5 and T6 gives S2 gear but I bet that's bugged and supposed to be T6 = S3. Also badges = honor items.

T6 bracers/belt/boots can be turned in for S3 honor items however.

Going from the screenshots you mean:
T4 tokens -> S1
T5/6 tokens -> S2
And not T4/5/6 it self

Where did you find these? :O
I checked all the t4/5 vendors and pvp gear vendors and all I found was that A52 Goblins only sell S1 and S2 and the guys in SW sell Grand Marshall stuff :x
//EDIT: Pretty slow, ain't I? -.- Nevermind ^^

The PvE tokens --> PvP gear thing makes a lot of sense. With 3 tokens dropping, it now answers the question of "what do you do when you get 3x Vanquisher and your druids have their PvE offspec stuff?"

What an awesome change. I don't raid currently, but if I did I'd be thrilled to be able to do a Kara run and pick up half the badges for pvp boots, a chance at my pvp helm/gloves, and possibly more. Much more fun than AV all the time. Here's hoping they keep it around for WotLK.

Off topic, but they could fix that 3x Vanquisher bit by having one of each token drop. Three tokens, three token loot slots. Almost seems logical.

Why even put blue pvp gear on a rep vendor then?

For non-raiders, obviously.

I'd actually be kind of surprised if they made the current top tier arena set available via PVE token turn ins. That would really marginalize the arena reward system and anger a lot of people - and in this case, I think rightfully so.
A model of everything-but-the-best available via alternate means (badges for slightly-below-cutting-edge-ilvl items, old pvp gear for PVE tokens) makes sense, because it provides means of catching up when you otherwise couldn't, but giving the best stuff from either progression path to the other seems problematic, and not at all in line with the philosophy they've shown with the 2000 rating requirement on shoulders.

I'm pretty sure my guilds warlocks will just get up and quit when druids have 3 full sets of Raiding AND PvP gear before they even get their 2 piece bonus.

Really, who's going to give out T6 for PvP gear untill it's rotting anyway? The only people making use if it will be those who have been farming Illidan for a while. I don't think it marginalize arena rewards to give them to people who have beaten the game.
Edit: The possible exception would be the shoulders since they are suppose to be a special reward to 2100 rated players.
While I'm editting, I wonder if there's any change at all of having the PvE sets availible through PvP? I rather doubt it, but it'd be nice to have something to spend arena/honor points on that'd help me in raids.

Pretty much. And let's be realistic here. In no way whatsoever would it cheapen the "integrity" of PvP for a raider to turn in a token after months of raiding for a "free" PvP piece, as compared to someone buying 1000 points a week for some gold or losing games a week.
I'm not so deluded, however, that I think for a moment that this won't cause a huge shitstorm, with PvPers wanting to buy t6 gear with arena points.
