Haha.. Which was more embarassing though, losing to Fjord or losing to me? :X I mean that had to have been the shortest paladin/shaman duel in existance. :(

He doesn't aim that high anymore. He's just happy if he can get away safely these days. No time to worry about damage. :(

Incidentally, one of my mates from beta was by and looking over my shoulder just then. He saw Lysander's name on that shot, laughed, and uttered the following:

"I think I remember that name from open beta or something. He was a really crappy warlock that didn't understand his class role and somehow still thought he was awesome because he could occasionally win duels back when locks were still massively overpowered."

"He's just some kid that was on test 5, I dunno. When he found out it was easier and faster to level alliance, and that they'd outnumber horde on almost every server, he decided to go play allies at retail. It would be the most hilarious irony in the history of ironies if he tried to wuss out like that and landed on the one server that's abnormal and got boned by it."

I then offered to ask and see if it was the same guy, but he said he'd rather just believe it is, even if he's wrong, so he can continue to laugh over the idea. I can understand that, I suppose.

Yeah...about that.

Lysander is my room mate. He was a 60 warlock in (duh) CoL in closed beta PvP Server, and has never (afaik) played a horde character. :-/

Nope I respec'ed cuz SL does not work so well vs shamans and priest that have any idea what they are doing. Turns out in BG's most of the previously mentioned classes do know what they are doing. I am trying out something new so if you want to get me back next time you see me you're more then welcome to Wodin, but im still gonna put up a fight.

I was never in open beta. I was lucky enough to get into phase one of closed beta and have allways played a lock. I went by the name Baden on the first CB server, but when the PK server opened up I switched to Lysander. . . just sounded more warlocky. The guy your mate mentioned probably saw my name on the lock boards and thought it would be fun to tarnish my good name :angry:

I know i don't pvp with my paladin any more, but i don't wanna go out like a chump (ie. the other night) and i came up with some decent counters to the problems i was having. I don't know how well they will work against a tauren shaman, but i should be able to give wubwub a better fight! :-D
