I am very new to Rawr - just tried it for the first time today. I downloaded my profile from the Armory and did not receive any errors. However, the values for most stats are completely wrong. For instance, the health of my level 71 DK is currently 9360 online and on the Armory, but Rawr shows 15,287. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a problem with the import function?

Rawr is for level capped characters. You can still use it before then, and ratings will usually still be in the right ballpark, but calculations will not be accurate.

>>A NOTE ON ITEM DATA<<: Before each release, I refresh the data in the default itemcache with the latest data from Wowhead and the Armory. However, at the current time, neither has updated its data for 3.0.8. I've manually updated the DPS on feral weapons, but that's it. I suggest that you use Tools > Update Item Cache from Wowhead / Armory once one of them updates to 3.0.8 data.

Recent Changes:
v2.1.7:
All models now contain a Relative Stat Values chart, which dynamically shows the value of various common stats to your current character. Some models had charts similar to this, and most of those still remain, in case they show any additional stats that this universal chart doesn't, but they will be removed in the next major version. As before, remember that these are only outputs from Rawr's calculations, not used internally by Rawr. Also, still remember that they will never be 100% accurate, and to always update whatever you use them for, whenver your gear/enchant/buffs change, in order to maintain as close to accurate as you can.
Fixed a couple more bugs with Wowhead parsing, and made it more resilient to errors (won't break your whole item cache update if it does hit an error).
Fixed a bug that would clear your available items on reload character from Armory.
You can now create filters that apply only to gems, or only to gear. (Not used by default filters yet, though)
Added support for several more trinket proc/effects.
Equipped items will always be shown in item listings, even if they would otherwise be filtered out.
Equipped items will now be marked as available, when re/loading from the Armory
Rawr.Cat/Bear: Adjusted calculations for the new FeralAP system. Weapon DPS is now counted as attack power, and items no longer show innate feral attack power. I've manually updated all feral weapons to have their new DPS values, but the actual stats on the items are still from 3.0.3 (ie, there's still Str on them, instead of plain AP). Please refresh the data on these items, once Wowhead/Armory update to 3.0.8.
Rawr.Tree: Major improvements all around. Still not fully complete.
Rawr.RestoSham: Major improvements all around. Still not fully complete.
Rawr.Retribution: Base miss chance lowered to 8%.
Rawr.Tankadin: Base miss chance lowered to 8%.
Rawr.ProtWarr: Block Value formula changed. Updates to armor calculations to account for Base vs Bonus Armor. Base racial stats updated. Support for the Armored to the Teeth talent.
Rawr.HolyPriest/ShadowPriest: Initial Glyph support.
Rawr.Mage: Significant updates to 3.0.8 support and to Arcane cycles. Added Rune of Razorice and Lightweave Embroidery. Enhanced hit rating tooltip. Fix for FBScPyro never being chosen when Global Optimizations were on. Added shatter combo cycles for Frost.
Rawr.DPSWarr: Initial draft of 3.0 version. Not fully complete yet, but included in this release of Rawr so that you can see how we're progressing. We still advise using Rawr.DPSWarr in conjunction with other theorycrafting tools.
Rawr.TankDK: Fixed expertise calculations.
Rawr.Rogue/Warlock: Nothing new, yet, but wanted to mention that we have a ton of active development on these models lately, and new versions are coming soon.

Is there a simple way in RAWR Cat to give the new bonus to 4T7 (3 seconds off the cooldown for Tiger's Fury)? It doesn't appear like this change was made for the new version, and was trying to figure out how big of an upgrade the bonus would be. Most sites are reporting that 3.0.8 is going live today.

Hello,

I tryed to search the thread about any Rapture info but didn't find any. In Rawr there is a config asking for the "% of max Rapture returns".

I guess that means for each tick what is the % of tick where i get a full mana return right ?

Are you by any chance confusing Rapture and Replenishment?

Replenishment is the time during the span of the fight you actually have the buff. For Rapture, its a guesstimate at how effective the possible Rapture returns are.

2.1.7 Bug -

Updating the default gems and selecting "Delete non-listed Gemmings" isn't eliminating the duplicates with gemmings I didn't select.

Aye it is what i meant about rapture. Do you have any idea how to get the "best" guesstimate for the effectiveness of Rapture ? On wws report it gives the avg and max per tick but i can't know more about it. When i divide the full amount of mana restored through rapture by the number of tick i always end up with the average number given...

I tried the new version (2.17) to get some number of the AM-Abar latency combo but I don't get the numbers to add up.

With my gear, 57/3/11 (almost) and raid buffs AB3AMAbar gives 3828.6 without combo and 3966.47 with "allow latency combos" both rotation taking 10.86 seconds in average cast time. The total rotation should then in average give 41578.6 (3828.6 *10.86) and 43075.86 (3966.46 *10.86) in total rotation average damage.

This gives the combo is thus worth 1497.27(43075.86 - 41578.6) damage over one rotation. However my average unbuffed Abar does 4615 in damage. Shouldn't the combo then give 2769 (4615 * 0.6) in extra damage since that particular rotation always use the combo?

I didn't have time to get this change modeled in Rawr.Cat. In the mean time, I'd suggest that you not worry about it. It adds about 30-50dps on average, but only when the fight lasts at least 5min. When I do get it modeled, you'll see that its value changes drastically, depending upon the fight duration.

If you modify an equipped item, you need to equip a different item, and then reequip it, or just relaunch Rawr, for the modifications to fully take effect.

Not quite. See the Combo Reliability setting.

If you look at your WWS, any overhealing cannot give Rapture, so if you have 30% overhealing on Penance, Flash Heal and Greater Heal, you are getting 70% effect from Rapture. Also shield absorbs (Divine Aegis & PW: Shield) will give Rapture returns, and currently this is bugged to return mana based on the max mana on the person the Absorb happens. This will be fixed in 3.0.8 this week. About 30% of your healing as Discipline is Shields, and assuming 90% of that is bugged, you get only 10% effect on 30% of your healing, and 70% on 70% of your healing. 3% + 49% = ~52%. This number should be better with 3.0.8, I put it on Default 75%.

Wowhead is expecting to have their data updated within an hour of whenever the servers come back up. Once they are updated, I'll repost the 2.1.7 zip with an updated itemcache, so that anyone that downloads after that will get the updated itemcache by default.

There is a chance that they'll change the format of some of their data, and I'll have to make a new version (ie 2.1.8), but I'm hopeful that that won't be the case, and everyone who already has 2.1.7 can just refresh from Wowhead when the new data is posted.

EDIT: Wowhead has changed its data format slightly, and a new version of Rawr is required to handle it; expect v2.1.8 soon.

I know 2.1.8 is coming, but another possible bug: it looks like druids in the cat and bear model can not use polearms. I've added black ice manually, but it only shows up if I edit the item to a 2h mace. Otherwise it is not selectable for itemization.
