What is the correct way to use the resistance option? Since it the input values only range between 0 and 1, how much would I enter for a target that has for example 200 fire resistance?
I would guess that it is asking for the percentage resistance that it has, not the actual number. So if it has 25% resistance, for example, you would put .25. However, I'm not entirely sure of this.

1 is immune, for others the conversion is 350 resistance = 0.75, so 200 would be ~0.43.
- Rawr now includes a Retribution model, built by Anarkii! Since it's our first Ret release, it may have some bugs, so please report anything you find wrong with it, and welcome to Rawr, Retadins!
- Added an Optimizer feature. The Optimizer works by looking at different combinations of gear that you have available (mark items as available by clicking the diamond next to the item in the charts), and finding the best possible set of gear. There's lots to see in the Optimizer, so give it a try, and let us know how it works. One known issue with the optimizer: Unique gems may be used multiple times; best to just not mark any unique gems as Available for now.
- Added a Status dialog that will show the status of all pending network operations (like loading items from the Armory). Note that there's still no way to cancel these operations while they're in-progress, but we hope to have that in a future update, soon.
- Improved the performance of loading and saving cached items, and performing some common item stat calculations, and fixed several bugs with the item editor.
- Items with class restrictions will not show up for other classes.
- Items will now display a Location, of where to get them. The data for this is still vague or non-existent in some cases, since it's loaded from the Armory, but for the most part it should be useful.
- All DPS models' DPS rating is calculated in terms of plain DPS (as opposed to DPS*100);
- Downloads from the Armory should be more resilient now, retrying whenever random failures occur, and correctly supporting more types of proxy servers where needed.
- The current character name and filename will appear in the title bar.
- Tooltips are now shown for buffs on the buff selection tab.
- Buffs and Enchants will now combine the built-in lists with what's in your itemcache, so that you can preserve customizations between versions.
- Rawr.Bear: Added all missing 2.4 items/enchants to the default ItemCache, resist enchants are now correctly counted, there are now debuffs for Sunwell Radiance and mobs that don't crush.
- Rawr.Mage: Added more AB-AM cycles, now shows a tradeoff coefficient for all spells, improved rotation and trinket optimization, improved performance, now tracks threat, auto selects Mage/Molten armor,
- Rawr.Moonkin: Removed the Mana Efficiency rating, since it was already contained in the total damage rating, improved the accuracy of several calculations, added set bonuses, updated mechanics for 2.4, now shows several different damage-related calculations similar to the spreadsheet.
Glad to have the Retribution module integrated into Rawr formally
Changeset 17413 was the last build I had tested with yesterday, so hopefully the changes after that to optimizer and handling of 2H weapons didn't break anything in Ret!

Add Elixir of Demonslaying. It gives 265 ap vs demons, Battle Elixir. At 145 more ap than a flask, it is the only real option for the dps benchmark, Brutallus. It also leaves open a Guardian Elixir slot.
How are Drums of Battle modeled in Rawr? I don't see any option to stack them, we have 4 sets in our melee group to provide a 100% uptime.
Does Rawr.Retribution make any attempt to model mana regen/time til OOM?
Is there any way to have the gear list ignore every item gemmed with Agility? Strength is better in every scenario for Paladins, and it just seems to clog the listings with 20 different gem possibilities. Perhaps if only the highest "dps point" gem combination was listed.
I use a Thinkpad T42 with just the usual Thinkpad services running, spybot teatimer, avast, and trillian.
If I run rawr for 30+ minutes, my thinkpad just shuts off. No blue screen, and it's not an overheating issue. It just straight turns off, and only happens with beta 13. Let me know if any additional info would be useful, although I obviously can't get you any runtime info.

Will add Elixir of Demonslaying. Drums of Battle currently assumes just 1 drum in the group, this can and will be made configurable in the future. I posted about mana regen in the Retribution thread. Since spiritual attunement can't be modeled, and it forms a very significant portion of mana regen, any time to oom modeling without spiritual attunement is very inaccurate. But I'll model mana for the sake of it in the next release.
Regarding agility gems, if you really want that, you can just delete the agi gems for now manually from the itemcache.

SSO pendant is not modeled yet, nor is the Alchemist's Stone. The idols aren't getting pulled in by the "update from armory", but for an unknown reason; if you manually add their item ID's, they work. No, I haven't modeled the 4-piece set bonus on the arena set yet, I realize now that a lot of moonkin use that set so I'll work on that for the next release.
[edit] Also, Timbal's Focusing Crystal is not modeled in Rawr.Moonkin either. I'll have that before beta 14 as well.

I loaded up 13b for bears and almost fell out of my chair when I saw a "new" chest item that was rated almost twice as high as anything else. The problem is that bears can't wear plate.

I am getting this error whenever I try to either switch to mage from the toolbar or load my mage from the armory, after it crashes out, the program can not be run again till after a restart. version b12.1 has been running without any problems.

Anarkii, can you or some other Rawr developer fix the duplicating of items when updating from armory? Quite annoying to see some items 5 times already.
Are you seeing multiple gemmings of the same item, or actually duplicates with the same gems?
I'm seeing some items as many times as I have updated from armory, some of them have no gem slots, mostly neck pieces.
Btw, can't you import talents from armory aswell?

Also a minor issue, the chart for Ret Main Hand weapons isn't scaling beyond 10 for me, so all the weapons are off the chart. Everything still seems to be calculating correctly.
