well, here is my healing gear, of which pretty much none is showing up

Head: Cowl of natures breath, gruul
Shoulders: Forest wind shoulderpads, kara
Neck: Shattered Sun Offensive neck, SSO
Chest: Robe of Heavenly Purpose, ZA
Belt: Cord of Braided Troll Hair, ZA
Pants: Im using kurenai kilt, sucks i know
Boots: Soul Strider Boots, SSC
Cape: Cloak of Whispering shells, Steamvaults

Id go on, but i have to leave this terminal at work right now. But as i was saying, none of these plus many more items are available as options in rawr for me. I do have a bunch of feral items though! And for the charts, on the top it lists hp5 in red, mp5 in blue, Survival in green, and Tree of life in yellow, but the chart is only showing mp5.

edit:
Just noticed when i clicked blessing of wisdom in the buffs tab that cover of ursol and hood of the third eye started showing hp5, mp5, survival, and tol instead of just mp5.

Err, I'm thinking you don't understand what Rawr is. You need to select your gear/enchants/buffs in order to get accurate results, that's the whole point of Rawr. Luckily, it's very easy, just load your character from the armory, to load all your gear and enchants. And Rawr is not limited to what items you see, you can add any items you want, of any gemming you want. See the readme for details, it's extremely fast and easy, just a couple clicks, you don't have to type in any of the item data.

I would just like to say great work in rolling out the new Rawr modules.

I would love to see more detail in Rawr.Holypriest. Information like Time to OOM in spell details, aswell as some downranking data.

Also for some reason Mage Armor is available as a Holy Priest Buff.

Also: it seems like some enchanting options are not available to the Tankadin Module. 2% Threat to Gloves cannot be selected, 12 INT to bracers (havent really looked closely at others).

[Bangle of Endless Blessings] is not selectable as a trinket in Rawr.Holypriest either.

You should probably look at the Options tab. Select a cycle where your druid doesn't go oom in the selected fight length, then it should rate the gems better (for me, 22 heal are rated best).

On another note: For some reason, buffs like heroic potion, nightmare seeds and mage armor as well as imp. JotC are selectable in Rawr.Tree.

Just a quick question regarding modifying the EnchantCache.xml file: Is there some sort of pattern to the <Id> tags, or do they simply serve as unique identifiers? The reason that I ask is that I'm trying to add [Biznicks 247x128 Accurascope] as an enchant for a hunter guildmate, and while I can get it to show up from the dropdown menu using a filler number for the ID, it won't automatically apply that enchant when you pull his Armory. Is that something that needs to be coded deeper within the program, or is there an "official ID" for that enchant that I'm just not finding?

I do understand, i just didnt have my resto gear on when i logged out as im normally feral and for feral stuff ive always been able to click on the boxes and manually select gear from the list. I dont care if it can load up my gear after ive logged out with my healing gear on if it doesnt have a large amount of healing gear already put in to compare against.

And my statements that it seems to be checking only MP5 still stands, dont know why some items start showing more when i click blessing of wisdom buff, but its obviously an error.

Good work on the new version, glad the new modules are finally taking off, props to all involved.

One question about Rawr.Mage - is there a way to pick [Scroll of Spirit V] as a self-buff, or am I stupid and just don't see it? It's of lower value than DI and the new Spirit % buff box is, well, %-based so it's very inconvenient to recalculate the percentage to gain 30 Spirit after every buff- or item change.

Everyone always coming to Zathras with problems. Great responsibilities. But Zathras does not mind. Zathras trained in crisis management.

Excellent feedback, I'll pass it on to the holy priest model dev, thanks! And I'll report those bugs about the tankadin model to the tankadin dev as well.

I think the Tree model might have all stats set as relevant right now, we'll see if we can get that fixed.

Yeah, there's an ID for each enchant. Goto the wowhead page for [Biznicks 247x128 Accurascope], and click on the spell text in the item tooltip at the top, that'll take you to the enchant spell, where you can see this: Enchant Item Permanent (2523). 2523 is what you want.

Can you give us an example character where you're seeing the odd results?

We'll see about getting that buff added. (If you're feeling daring, you can add it to your BuffCache.xml in the mean time).

Thanks for the excellent feedback on all these new models, everyone, we'll get them all polished!

I solved my problem literally as I was posting, but I'll post the problem I had as UI feedback anyway... If I download a character from the Armory (this probably applies to loading a character's XML as well, but I haven't tested that), it should auto-select the appropriate model. It saves idiots like me who just download it and jump straight in from getting confused as to why it's showing Mitigation/Survival/Threat counts for a DPS class.

Edit: I note the Delete Duplicates function. Would it be possible to get this as a Rawr-wide option, so that the suggestions show only the item once (with best gem combination)? At the moment I'm getting a page of recommendations for some of my gear, half of which are a single SW drop gemmed in a variety of ways because it's so far above the second placed gear.

I was also wondering whether is any ability to filter items that display based on drop areas/profession requirements/whatever else. I can understand if this is a lower priority though, as it doesn't really provide additional information. It just makes it easier to use for those of us not in the higher raids.

Edit again: Pure Hunter model feedback this time. Dual wield vs single weapon is a bit problematic. I use [Emerald Ripper] (14.95) + [Claw of the Netherwing Flight] (19.11), which gives a total of 34.05. Does this mean that the combo is better is better than [Halberd of Desolation] at 28.75? There's no real way of checking this at the moment.

It really is an awesome tool. Just providing general feedback on my first usage of it since it stopped being a pure-Bear survival/threat tool.

Because the solver in the tree module is very slow, the heuristic will filter out any spell cycle it cannot keep up for 70% of the time (since 4 to the power of 5 is a large combination of cycles, and I severely punish cycles you cannot keep up later on anyway). This basically means if you don't have enough mana-regen to keep casting for 70% of the fight, you have to pick more spirit/mp5 (or go into options and select an easier rotation, allowing you to cast "none" a lot of the time).

It's recommended to select a baseline of gear in Rawr anyway (usually by importing a character from armory). You can get recommended upgrades from the armory as well (if you're speced resto).

--

Note 0: Mage Armor is visible for holy priest/tree because it's the same "stat" as intensity and primal mooncloth (it's an additive stat).

Note 1: I'd recommend checking relative stat values (bigger picture) for rating gems in tree. The tree has bigger jumps in HPS value when it comes to mp5 and especially haste, so an average value over several gems provides more accurate values.

Note 2: Remember to select your talents if you cannot import your character. If you lack intensity, the calculator will drive you nuts (as spirit won't help you much, and will only value mp5 since you don't have enough).

Note 3: I have no clue why the [Golden Staff of the Sin'dorei] received a default gemming of agi and agi/sta gems when I loaded the release version of rawr

Note 4: I'll remove crit/health from the relevant stats. I don't think anyone would miss [Battlemaster's Depravity] anyway.

Hey. Yeah, we've considered switching models when you load an armory, just haven't gotten to it yet, it's somewhat low priority. Regarding Delete Duplicates being Rawr-wide and keeping the best gem combination, we specifically don't do that, because the 'best' gem combination can change drastically, and we really want to show how changes to your gear change the value of different items, including different gemmings. Instead we try to make it easy, on a per item basis, clean up gemmings that you don't care about, via the quick right-click->Delete Duplicates function.

Yes, 34.05 does mean that the 1Hx2 is better than the 2H with 28.75. It should be counting the OH along with the MH, so that you can accurately compare 2x1H to 2H by looking at the Main Hand chart, but this seems to only be working for 1H+Held-in-Off-Hand items, at the moment. I'll see if I can get this working for 2x1H.

Thanks!

EDIT: b15's itemcache included only an extremely limited set of items relevant to the new models, and I apologize for that. And, as Halmmar just pointed out, some of those had extremely poor gemmings by default. I'll see if I can get that cleaned up for b15.1. For now, I recommend users use the "Load Possible Upgrades from Armory" feature, to find alot more gear that's relevant to their model, or just add any item you wish by typing in the item ID of the item (Tools > Edit Items > Add). Thanks for your patience with this.

FYI at The Druid Wiki » Rawr there's a typo for the download URL, shouldn't be a period at the end.

Is it possible to get the optimizer to use only a single non-unique item? While I'd love to be able to swap in a second BT trash drop ring, I, uh, left it somewhere on the way to Mother Shahraz...

It doesn't help much when I'm trying to figure out gear swaps based on whose group I'm in when it keeps assuming I've got two of them to use. I looked in the item editor but didn't see an easy way of marking it unique as a workaround.

(e)So much for the ninja edit. Where is the option to make it unique? I guess I missed it.

Currently it's not possible to do it in the ui. You'll have to open ItemCache.xml and change it there (just look at some other item for an example).
