In buffs:
Scrolls of agility and strength are still stacking with totem of strength. Scroll of protection stacks with Mark of the Wild. These don't stack in game. Also you cannot have more than one active. If I use a scroll of strength it will overwrite my scroll of agility for example.
Also missing options for DK (de)buffs (Horn of Winter and others), not a huge deal but would make it more clear.

Astrylian, I know it was mentioned many pages ago, but the bug with Druid.Bear Cloak Armor Calculation is still wrong, as far as I know, esp with the patch live on PTR now.
Example, switching from [Drape of the Deadly Foe] to [Flowing Cloak of Command] results in a +2603 armor bonus (even with the 3.0.4 armor selection checked).
I think this has existed since the 3.0.4 option was put in 1-2 revisions ago, and I think I saw you respond saying that you fix it after PTR goes live. For the time being, it might be more realistic if we simply made the cloak armor calculation additive instead of scaling it with bear. Unless I've read it wrong, I'm under the impression that the back/cloak armor slot will not be multiplied in Bear form, so if there is any scaling to be done on the cloak, it will only be from inspiration, 2% meta gem, and thick hide. So at most, the armor calculation would be off by maybe 50-100, instead of in the thousands. It would paint a more accurate cloak comparison, instead of now, where the cloak comparisons for Bear are pretty much meaningless with the 3.0.4 armor option selected.
Thanks again for the great application btw. It lets me play around with gear at work.

Rawr 2.1.4 was made before the PTR went up. The next version will include accurate 3.0.8 armor calculations.

Huh. I re-opened Rawr, and the problem was gone. So for more info's sake, I ran a full wowhead check, the error popped up once it was finished, and I don't think any items got updated. I tried running an update on a single item, one of the Arena helms, though I can't remember which one. Same problem, so I closed Rawr and put up the report.

DPSDK is still showing Ret pally gear as upgrades, including spell power gems. Also the i think the actual dps calculations are flawed for the three specs, blood being slightly high and both unholy and frost less than half of what blood is theoretically producing.
I am also unable to create a custom rotation, it does not save the implemented settings.
thanks in advance and great job on a great program

Thank you for this program, it's seriously epic
Just wanted to ask how i would go about finding the rough values for approximating stat weight. I've been using it as a Shadowpriest too sort out gear upgrades and its mint, but i cannot find out what values are assigned to stats.
Ie 1 spell damage = 1
1 hit rating = 1.4 (until hitcapped)
1 crit = .6
That sort of thing
Thanks!

Keep in mind that stat weights are not accurate; at the least they're imprecise, and at the worst (ie, once you pass a cap or threshold), they're completely wrong. But, that said, they can be useful for ballpark figures.
Some of Rawr's models provide a Relative Stat Values or Item Budget or similarly named chart, near the bottom of the list of charts. For those that don't, I suggest just looking at gems and comparing the value of the single-stat gems. Edit a gem if there's not a gem for a stat you want to compare (then edit it back so you don't screw other things up).
In Rawr 2.2, we're hoping to provide a standardized chart of stat values for all models.

Im kind of sorry but the EnhSham model in 2.1.4 doesnt seem to be updated for 3.0
The Hit and crit rating calculations specifically look like pre 3.0
Additionally, when i load my char from the armory the option tab/ boss settings are behaving strange, cannot change the level and the options are greyed (browned) out.

For tanking: Are there any plans of including mitigation component onto expertise rating? As it stands right now expertise only applies for threat but it still does reduce parry and therefore the parry haste mechanic making it good for mitigation as well. Doubtful you'd want to gem for it ever but as Feral gear is swimming in it, it would be nice to have a general idea of what it's worth.

We agree that Exp does have a value in reducing in-coming damage, however the math for that is very rough. If you can find some exact math on how to calculate this, let me know.

Where'd Thunderheart go?
I downloaded 2.1.4 today and T6 has vanished from the cat model Comparisons lists for all slots. Pre-70 blues like the Spymistress's Wristguards are there, but not my trusty T6. (I want to optimize for which 4 pieces of T6 to use.) I tried loading "possible upgrades" from Armory and this did not fetch them. Any suggestions on how to get T6 back in the list?
Note that I'm running Rawr in Mono, so many of the features cause the application to crash. (I don't think that's why the T6 is missing, though.)
Edit: Alright, I solved my own problem. Somehow Burning Crusade is now unchecked for me by default under "Filter" in the upper right. Re-checking it brings T6 back.

Check the filters options to the top right of the gear lists. TBC was disabled for me meaning none of my gear was showing in the lists.

Hi Astryl, another quick question for you.
I am currently wearing Sandals of crimson fury ( [Sandals of Crimson Fury]), and the logica gem choice from what i can see is a runed ruby of +19 spell power. The set bonus is not worth losing the 7 spellpower that i would lose from inserting a purple gem. I noticed in Rawr that all of that availible options gave me gems that would give the set bonus, purple gems for instance going into blue slots even when it's a pretty bad socket bonus.
Is there a way to turn off the program selecting gems that give the set bonus automatically. some times there are contentious gemming choice where the socket bonus might be close to that of what you would give up, but at the moment Rawr will only show me the correct colour gem.
Thanks again!

Use the Item Editor to manually add the gemming of your choice; or, if you want to override gemmings for all items, use the mass gem replacement tool.

Death Knight DPS still showing ret pally Teir gear. In fact, I think the item weights are coming from ret pallys as well. The value of haste seems WAY out of proportion to what i've calculated it at.
On a side note. Is there any way to tell it to stop using "epic" gems that don't even exist in game yet? It's throwing off item comparisons in favor of socketed ones.

On 2.1.4 in the Healadin module, I cannot see any gems listed. Any time I select Gems > Normal or Gems > Meta from the Chart drop menu I get a blank list. Gems show correctly in Tankadin and Retribution modules, and I have gone into the item editor to confirm they are listed there. Any ideas if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug?
Thanks for your help.

Once again, make sure your filter settings are correct, notably that you haven't filtered out Other, Crafted, or possibly Unknown. If it was a problem with relevancy, you wouldn't see any gear either.
On a side note, if you have something marked as available, but filtered out, the Optimizer will still consider it, though you won't be able to see it. Same for the settings under Refine Item Types Listed. I agree with the behavior, but is there any way we could get items marked as available to ignore filter/refinement settings?

For feral druids, is there an easy way to switch back and forth between a cat set and a bear set that I'm just not seeing? Do I need to somehow set up two separate profiles for this? I'm just not sure of the best way to go about it. I'm just trying to see what the best gear set for dps is when I need to switch out to cat form when I'm not tanking.

Sure, set your bear spec how you want it, hit Save at the top, give it a name, then change it to your Cat spec, hit Save, give it a name. Now you can swap between the two saved specs just by switching the value in that dropdown.
